「010:Origin #54-Samurai-侍」

It is a work that combines "Origin" and "Samurai".
The Kanji in the back is "侍（samurai）". The white circle represents the moon. I drew it with the image of a samurai spending a night of blood and a night of battle. It's cool, yeah.

「Origin」と「侍」が合体した作品です。後ろの漢字は侍と書いています。白い円は月を表していています。戦い血の夜を過ごす侍を想像して描きました。

Some of my favorite points

1つ目は、「侍」という漢字と、月です。どちらも、筆で描いてみました。和風な要素を入れる事で、この作品がどんな作品であるかということを説明できます。その点がお気に入りです。また、このダイナミックな漢字一文字というのも好きで、他の作品でも活用しています。
２つ目は、刀の持ち手の部分です。ハートをいくつか描いていて、ワンポイントですが、お気に入りの１つです。最初は黒で目立たないようにしていましたが、他の部分と合わせて、黄色にしてみました。お気にいりポイントの１つです。
３つ目は、背景です。背景の文字については、先程書きました。ここでは、背景の色についてです。この赤い背景がこの絵を締めてくれています。赤い月夜、血というものが想像できます。戦いでは血が流れるというのは仕方のないことです。それらを表現するために、赤い背景にしました。また、夜を表すのは黒い靄です。真っ赤ではなく、黒が入ることでこの作品に緊張の要素が入ります。どちらもお気に入りです。

The first is the Kanji "Samurai" and the moon.  I drew both with a brush.  By adding Japanese elements, you can explain what this work is like.  I like that point.  I also like this dynamic one-character Kanji, and I use it in other works as well.

 The second is the handle of the sword.  I have drawn some hearts, which is one point, but it is one of my favorites.  At first, I tried to make it inconspicuous with black, but I tried to make it yellow by combining it with other parts.  This is one of my favorite points.

 The third is the background.  I wrote about the background characters earlier.  Here is the background color.  This red background closes this work.  I can imagine the red moonlit night, blood.  It is unavoidable that blood flows in battle.  I made it a red background to express them.  Also, the night is represented by a black mist.  The inclusion of black instead of bright red adds an element of tension to this work.  Both are my favorites.
