"Sofu-con", set by world famous creator TOUMA! The second installment of the [Amazing People of the Sofubi World Short ver.] will be Nako Yamaguchi, a member of the "Sofu-con" and an active illustrator!! Here is Nako Yamaguchi's first sofubi, "Uchinoko".

It will be a sofubi that will continue to be developed in series such as "Uchinoko". The main color will be purple, but more color variations are planned to appear in the future.

Originally, the "Uchiko" series, which appeared as a three-dimensional object made of wool (felt wool). "Akaiko" and "Pink no ko" are appearing , so it seems that soft vinyl will also develop.

"Uchinoko" (My child) is a generic term.

Originally, she is an illustrator who draws loose and cute characters.

The "Uchinoko" series was born from that.

World view

The "Murasaki no ko" (purple child) doesn't say anything in particular, and is set as an unfamiliar creature that lives a free and easy life. It's a character with a loose feeling, as if it is okay for the people watching it to live in such a random way.

The reason why it's called by their color, "purple child" or "red child", are based on the desire to give each person a name. When they becomes a child of that person's house, creator hopes people to give them a name.

Modeling / Coloring

In terms of modeling, the neck is designed to be slanted so that it faces slightly downward, and when it is turned over, the face faces upward.

This makes it more cute.

"Fuji-iro", lilac, is used for coloring, and she want people to take pictures of the scenery and the city and play with it, she thought that by bringing in purple, which is not used very often, would make it stand out.

It is made with consideration for modeling and coloring.
