This time, we'll be showing you the first short version of the "Amazing People in the World of Sofubi".
The first person we're going to introduce in this short ver. is Ms. tanakasaki, a
member of "Sofu-con" and an active illustrator!! Here is tanakasaki's first sofubi, "Gyunyu Boya"!

TOUMA is the reason why she became a sofubi artist. They met at a clubhouse. Originally, Ms. tanakasaki has been making Gyunyu Boya goods. Then TOUMA asked her if she was interested in making sofubi version of Gyunyu Boya. That's when she took the chance and start making them.

The story behind the birth of Gyunyu Boya is, tanakasaki, who was originally not a fan of milk. The initial setting seems to be that she wanted to be able to drink milk deliciously.

After that, she developed a variety of miscellaneous goods, which turned into
activities to spread the word about milk. The Gyunyu Boy's slogan is "Let's do our best today! ".

Let's do our best today to spread the word about milk!, and decided to sculpt it as a sofubi as part of that effort.

By the way, the artist, tanakasaki, is still not a fan of milk-only...

Gyunyu Boya's particularity lies in his plump body shape.

The design was carefully thought out to give this figure a nice body line. The round outline and plump body line of the sofubi is so cute that you can't help but be drawn to it.

The logo also uses the lid of the milk bottle, which is very popular among retro lovers. While retaining the retro feel, the modeling and coloring of this work is very particular.
