"Bietarou" by Takeyama Noriya x Painter Net! Limited "Bietarou" at Art Gallery [Ginza shina]! A true work of art!
This time, I would like to introduce you to the art SOFUBI of "Bietarou", created by Takeyama Noriya and Ito from Painter Net!
This time: -An apparition suddenly appears in the Edo period! Plague dispersal version-!
And that's what I'm going to do!
This channel introduces the unique world of the artists and their unique works in the world of SOFUBI.
So, here is that apparition "Amabie", "Bietarou"! I haven't opened the package yet! I would like to open it later.
They are cute with their crinkly eyes and round, egg-like appearance.
The illustrator and creative producer, Takeyama Noriya, created the "Bietarou", and Painter Net colored the "Bietarou"! Two masters have completed one work!
There have been many different colorings of "Bieratou" released in the past, and they have all been beautiful, but this time the coloring is even more beautiful. There are several of Takeyama's works colored by Painter Net, and all of them are wonderfully done, and I think the chemistry between the work and the coloring is just outstanding.
This is a limited exhibition, sale and lottery sale at [shina Ginza], a gallery in
Ginza that handles a wide range of products from traditional Japanese crafts to contemporary pop art and subcultures.
They also have a tie-up with "Mount Kobo", and there will be "Bietarou" works by Takeyama Noriya and "Mount Kobo", so it is a very enjoyable space.
"Mount Kobo" is making SOFUBI such as this mountain gorilla.
I wasn't able to go this time, but Mr. Shiba, out sales staff, went there and bought this "Bietarou".
After working for a certain major toy company, Mr. Takeyama Noriya has been active in a wide range of fields, including teaching as a creator and is involved in various activities.
Mr. Ito is a master of color, and is known as the "Waterside Coloring Monster"! We call him that, but...
His masterpiece is, of course, "Futoagon", and this one looks really good with
Amabie: "Bietarou"!
I think that Mr. Takeyama's cute works and Mr. Ito's beautiful paintings really go well together. When I look at them, I can feel Mr. Takeyama's love for his work through the colors.
I also had a conversation with Mr. Ito of Painter Net, so please take a look at that as well.
I'd like to take another look at this "Bietarou"
[About Amabie]
In February and March of 2020, "drawing illustrations of Amabie" became the focus of creative activities, and the "Amabie Challenge", in which Amabie was expressed in various creative works as "a work of are with a wish to dispel the plague" spread. This Amabie is the result of a refinement of one of the most popular Amabie figures with US-based 3D artist Yuki Takahashi.
I was very excited about the process of Yuki making three-dimensional with a 3D printer on SNS and completing it. While various designs and works with "Amabie" motifs were announced, the three-dimensional SOFUBI design by Mr. Takeyama was of great interest.
So it is a work of great significance, or rather, a work of great hope, because it was completed while including the original meaning of Amabie, which was that it would be beneficial to get rid of the plague!
[About modeling and coloring]
This round shape and shimmering, gentle coloring makes me feel calm when I look at it.
The size of it fits in my palm, which also makes me feel attracted to it and calm.
It is truly a work of art.
The clear color also has a bright tone, which makes the clear glitter body look
brighter and shinier. I think this is a wonderful color that will be very beneficial
just by having it.
I talk more about it on YouTube!
