SOFUBI Food Chain series! [Mike Toys] -Gyoramo, Kanigisu, Kokemoko, Mini-Imomushi- An artist who creates illustrations and three-dimensional objects!

This time, we would like to introduce [Mike Toys] (Mike-Gangu)!

It's a Calico cat's name in Japanese. Mikeneko=Calico cat. The logo is also a
calico cat!

This logo design that you are familiar with somewhere is nice! At the "Amazing Shoutengai" (Amazing Shopping Street) the other day, together with Kings Toy, the "Cat King Toy" had a stall with a arranged design of a cat wearing a crown, eating a burger.

We'd like to introduce you to some original SOFUBI from [Mike Toys]!

Gyoramo & Kanigis, and Kokemoko! Plus Imomushi!

It really captures the world of [Mike Toys]! the Mini Imomushi (mini-caterpillar) with a single part-extract is also cute like Mothra.

It's fun to have such a detailed playfulness!

Original SOFUBI "Gyoramo & Kanigisu" Poisonous Color (Black & Pink)/Warning Color (Dangerous Color)!

This "Gyoramo" & "Kanigisu" is a Food Chain series,

this Dangerous Colored marble molding has a different pattern one by one, so there's a one-of-a-kind pleasure.

And then there's this caterpillar! It's sometimes fun to see the little things
that come with things like this.

The contrast between the black and the pink of the marbled mixture with melting feeling is a very nice way of expressing the toxicity of the strong colors.

And the Dangerous color, a color that has a great impact!

If you look at his Instagram, you'll see that there are a lot of different coloring
options, so the appearance will change depending on the color!

This Dangerous Color is a coloring that you rarely see! The poisonousness in the poisonous is coming out. If you look closely, you'll see that it's rugged, and the scales and wrinkles have been sculpted, so I think it's a work that shows off its monster-like qualities to the fullest.

This "Gyoramo" & "Kanigisu" has different colors, but there are also a light blue "Kanigisu" and pink "Gyoramo", so you can arrange them in a color set.

Could this be "Kokemoko"'s 1st color?

This one has got a different taste from "Gyoramo" & "Kanigisu".

It is a mysterious creature whose whole body is covered in moss, and it is
characteristic that a small insect is attached on its back.

On SNS, people say "Kokemoko" is cute! So it's a very popular SOFUBI!

This is the latest work by [Mike Toys], and its facial expression is very
distinctive. I think it was a creature that was born by parasitizing a special
moss on a carcass of an animal. It seems that he wanders around slobbering. For "Kokemoko", I like this fluffy shape and the detailed design of leaves and insects. The first color is based on yellow-green and is a cool color, and I think it fits the image of the design very well. Since the parts are separated by the hip joint, it is interesting to make him sit with his tail and 3 points (legs and tail). And the header with the characteristic "Kokemoko" eyes printed on it is also very stylish.

Roundness and poisonousness!? Is it melting?! They are interacting with each other to imitate cuteness.

It also does a handstand, so they're built for it!

Also, as for "Kanigisu", the caterpillars get on its hands and head!

This caterpillar...Even it's now I'm realizing, but this caterpillar doesn't have
a name, right?

I usually call them caterpillars, but...

This little caterpillar is hollow!

So, it's the tip of the hand and head of "Kanigisu", and the protruding part of
"Kokemoko"!

That's where the "Caterpillar" can hang on!

He is making good use of the holes in the work that they pulled out with one part. I think that playfulness around here is unique to the original SOFUBI. It comes as a set with each piece, so you feel like you're getting something special. Basically, the caterpillar is preyed on by "Kanigisu", but I think that when the caterpillar survives to become an adult, it becomes quite a menacing creature.

I bought this at an event, such as "(International Art Event) Design Festa" and
"Amazing Shotengai" (Amazing Shopping Street) that was held the other day. We can't easily participate in Kanto area events, but it's nice to actually meet the artists in person at the events.

It's a lot of fun to listen to them tell us about their worldview and what they're
into.

I wonder if [Mike Toys] has got clear colors available?

I think it'll be interesting to see how it looks with a clear body!
