[The divine skills of a SOFUBI craftsman from Aichi Prefecture, a master colorist] P@inter-Net "Futoagon": Toshiki Ito, a former fishing lure painter, here is his skillful technique

We had the opportunity to visit the workshop of P@inter-Net and observe the coloring process. Here is a video of the actual coloring of the "Futoagon", which are available in a variety of colors.

I really like the craftsmanship of Mr. Ito's coloring, don't you?

P@inter-Net is doing a collaborative index with various people, and he is in charge of coloring. That's why I think there are many artists who want to have Ito-san's colors (want his paintings) on their SOFUBI!

P@inter-Net had it's 20th Anniversary in April 2020. 20 years is amazing.

The color variations of the P@inter-Net's "Futoagon" are overwhelmingly tempting to collect. I think he really understand the feelings of SOFUBI collectors! In Japan, there are four seasons and many different events, so there are special seasonal colors for the "Futoagon". All of them have the same body, but they look completely different and attractive, which is also the charm of P@inter-Net.

We also handle SOFUBI, but we don't get to see them actually being made or painted, so we took this video.

This is a rare opportunity to see what's going on in the workshop, so please take a look if you'd like.

SOFUBI and figures are available from T-BASE JAPAN here ↓
