Jelly Roger made his Soft Vinyl debut at WF2020 Winter! Cute storybook SOFUBI! A Toy's King Exclusive color is now available at T-BASE JAPAN!
This time it's a collaboration project! This is a collaboration between Art Sofubi artist "Jelly Roger" and Toy's King!
"Jelly Roger" came out with a "Limited Edition color" of the Toy's King!
It's been on sale at T-BASE JAPAN since Jan. 11, 2021!
These are Limited Edition colors that is available at T-BASE JAPAN. This time, I'd like to introduce you to the three Limited Edition colors of "Captain Henry", "Sailor Avery" and "Mrs. Levia"!
The world of Roger's Sofubi is also unique and wonderful. The Pirate motif is dark, but with a friendly cuteness, and the design and coloring is appealing to both men and women.
One of the things that I find interesting about Jelly Roger is that he has quite a few names..."Captain Henry", "Sailor Avery", and so on. And having a strong name means that each of the characters has a story attached to it.
And the Sofubi itself is super cute too, so let me introduce them to you！！
First off is:
It's "Captain Henry"! (Captain Henry: Toy's King version)
He was active as a pirate for only about 2 years before his death. In that short period of time, he amassed enormous wealth, and was one of the great pirates known as: "The Pirate King". Is what he feels as a ghost.
When he loses his hat, he cries and screams like a demon and becomes uncontrollable.
No-one knows what happened to him before he died, so he is basically a mysterious character, and is unrelated to the "Jelly Roger" logo.
The Toy's King Limited Edition color is available at T-BASE for just 4,500JPY (tax included)!
Henry is cute, isn't he? There are many color variations of Henry, but this Limited Edition color is so beautiful! The black on the clear body makes the whole figure look tighter, so the green and orange looks even more beautiful! Also, Roger-san draws a 4-panel "manga" on Twitter, and the Henry that appears in it is really cute. Roger-san's Twitter page is also interesting, so I hope you'll check it out.
Next is "Sailor Avery"!! (Sailor Avery Toy's King ver.)
When Henry sneezes, his alter ego pops out with a runny nose, and despite his small appearance, he is a little gangster-like ghost with a war-like side.
When ever he sneezes, a certain number of ghosts increase in number, which makes him very useful to Henry as a chore worker and combatant.
He's usually just a little guy, but when he goes into battle mode, he's a shrewd guy who uses his quickness to play with his enemies. His favorite foods are spaghetti Nero (squid ink pasta) and Raw Yatsuhashi (rice cracker dough in raw form, with sweet red beans ("azuki") wrapped inside).

The setting is really detailed! I didn't know that he liked Raw Yatsuhashi, and it would be cute to have a set with Henry, or even several of Avery by itself. I'd love to get a bunch of different colors.
And "Mrs. Levia"! (Mrs. Levia Toy's King ver.)
She is the maiden in love with Captain Henry, the mightiest being who has the blood of a champion of the ocean, and she calls herself Henry's wife. But she's not very good at it, and when her "switch" is on...
Everyone who went out to sea feared and hated Levia.
Henry was the only one who saw her in a different way. (He was just looking at her curiously, as he found a cool monster.) And pretty champion, who was won over by his passionate gaze, would lightly wreck and sink an enemy ship for him.

The Levia's Toy's King-color is really beautiful. There are lots of different colors of Mrs. Levia out there, but this metallic green color scheme is just unbelievable! The size of the figure is also a bit big, and the molding is very powerful and spiky!
This kind of setting is also one of the things I enjoy about collecting Sofubi!
And what's more, is that if you purchase any of the Limited Edition color figures introduced here, you'll get a "Limited Edition pin badge" from Toy's King, no matter which of the three you buy! The pin badge will come in a red and white marble color, inspired by the colors of Toy's King logo!
