[Sofuken Clay Modeling Compilation 3] Sculpey clay is piled up on the core of aluminum foil to make a shape. SOFUBI clay modeling vol.3!

Sofuken! Clay Modeling compilation vol.3

This is the 3rd installment of the clay modeling series, and in the last
installment, we finally have a core! I made the core with aluminum foil, and I'd
like to pile it up with Sculpey clay.

It is the first clay work in decades.

The smell is also nostalgic and fun.

Open the Sculpey clay, spread it out thinly, and flop it onto the core of the
aluminum foil. Stick it on roughly, if you want.

While holding it down, stick it so that the air inside is pushed out.

I will enjoy it while remembering the art class like when I was in kindergarten or elementary school.

And as I was sticking them on and off, lost in memories...

Gradually arm? My fingers start to hurt... If an amateur who's not used to doing this, the finger will hurt at first. As time goes by...

When the shape is formed, paste the clay while being conscious of the left and right balance.

Still, my hand hurts...

But fun!!

Check the size and balance using the three-view drawing you made!

While having Mr. Kimura of "Kimura Toy" make some adjustments...

Little by little, I'm starting to see glimpses of it as a 3-dimensional object!

The good thing about Sculpey clay is,

even after baking in the oven and hardening, you can add Sculpey and bake again in the oven, so you can make corrections over and over again to finish the shape to your satisfaction.

Then, a spatula is used to make fine adjustments in areas where human hands are limited.

画像7

That's how it started to take shape.

At this point, the tension will rise again.

The excitement is building!

So, next time I'll be hardening them in the oven!

I also talk about it in detail on YouTube.
