　私の理学療法士物語で最もぶっとんでいた人物について紹介しましょう。

彼の名前は趙さんで、当時30代の中国人の独身男性です。

彼は本当に素晴らしい人物で、心の優しい人でした。

日本での仕事だけで月収50万以上、愛車はアルファロメオ。

なぜ私がそんな詳細な情報を知っているかというと、趙さんが全て私に見せてくれたからです。

　〇月〇日～〇月〇日、一時的に親に会いに中国に帰国していた趙さん。定期的に中国に帰っていた様です。そして、いつも通り仕事のために〇月〇日に日本に戻った日、住んでいる家に帰る途中でした。趙さんが乗っていた車が後方からトラックに追突されました。趙さんは後部座席に座っており、脊椎と骨盤を骨折する重傷を負ってしまいました。彼は緊急で私が働いていた病院に運ばれ、私たちは出会ったのです。

　主任: 「Yuki君！今日は新患の担当をお願いするよ。」
　Yuki: 「はい！中国の方ですね。」

　その病院は近くに空港があるため、外国人の患者さんが多く訪れることがありました。だから、今回のケースもそれほど珍しいことではありませんでした。

そして、病室に入ってみると、何かおかしい雰囲気がありました。看護師さんたちの様子や周りの空気感が通常とは異なっていたのです。

カーテンの向こうには何か気配を感じました。

Yuki: 「趙さん、こんにちは。担当させていただきます、理学療法士のYukiです。入ってもよろしいですか？」

趙さん: 「いいよ。」

Yuki:「失礼し…」

・・・ ・・・ えっ ・・・ ・・・

男性と女性が2人？？

Yuki: 「えっ」

一旦カーテンを閉めます。

ん？見間違えたかな？

再度。

Yuki: 「失礼します。」
趙さん: 「はーい。」

あれ、どこかで…。
あっ、ズームインを思い出しましたｗ

それはさておき。

服は着ていましたが、驚きました。

それから、「危ない中国人」という先入観を持たざるを得ませんでした。
しかし、趙さんは笑顔で「趙です。よろしくお願いします」と言いました。

その笑顔で、私の先入観は消え去りました。
兎にも角にも私と趙さんの理学療法の初日が始まったのでした。
（※女性はすぐに帰りました。）

　趙さんが理学療法を開始して〇日目、私たちは歳も近かったという事もあり、色々お話する様になっていました。

初日に一緒にいた女性の話も聞きました。
趙さんが女性を連れていた日は実は初日だけではないのですがｗ

師長から厳重な注意を受けるまで女性を連れ続けた趙さん。
なぜ趙さんが女性を病院のベッドにまで呼び寄せ、話していたのでしょうか。

　日本で成功を収めた趙さん。パートナーを見つけるために必死でした。今回、中国に帰国したのも親を心配させないためでした。しかし、親は子供を心配します。特に子供が異国にいる場合はなおさらです。趙さんが久々に中国に帰ったその時も親は既に中国でお見合い話がいくつか進めていたそうです。

パートナーを自分で探したかった趙さん。アルファロメオの愛車もそのために購入したのだと言います。趙さんは車には興味がないと言っていました。

中国では車は社会的なステータスの一部であるとのことです。

学歴から車、親の職業まで、中国ではステータスが非常に重要だそうです。

なので趙さんは、魅せられる車を購入したとのことでした。

そういえば趙さんはこんな事を言っていました。

「日本人はステータスをあまり気にしませんよね？なぜですか？どうやってその人の事を知るのですか？あまりにも想像やファーストコンタクトでの印象に重きを置きすぎではありませんか？何事も調査する事が重要なのに。日本人は想像や印象に重きを置く傾向がある様に思います。」と。

ですから、趙さんは！

”調査をしていた！？”

謎が解けた感じでした。

彼は主に中国のアプリを利用していました。
趙さんにスマホの画面を見せてもらったことがあります。

趙さん: 「これは中国のアプリ。こうやってマップが開かれて、ほら。半径〇ｍ以内に○○、28歳、女性、北京出身と表示されるんだ。これで会うんだよ。」おそらく出会い系アプリの一種だったのでしょう。

・・・・・・・・・・・・・・

　このままでは話が逸れていきそうなので立て直しますｗ

　要するに、趙さんは日本で成功を収め、中国のやり方で日本でパートナーを見つけようとしていました。

そんな中、彼は事故に遭い入院してしまいました。

しかし、彼はあきらめずにお見合いをコルセットや歩行器を必要とする重傷の状態でもやり続けました。

師長からの注意を受けるまで、彼は行動力と持続力を示しました。

彼はリハビリにも熱心に取り組んでいました。

私はふと思いました。
「どんな状況でも決めたらやりつづける！！ああ、こういう人が成功するのだな」と。

　趙さんが退院する日がやってきました。もちろん、歩行できるまで回復しての退院でした。

Yuki: 「お元気でね。」
趙さん: 「うん。またね。また会おうね。」

それから1か月後、私と趙さんは再会します。
大きな街の交差点の一角で待ち合わせしました。

その声は...

振り向くと、赤いアルファロメオがやってきました。 中から手を挙げているのはサングラスをかけた男。趙さんです。

趙さんは今はもう日本にはいません。
しかし、彼はきっと世界のどこかでサングラスをかけ、高級車に乗っていることでしょう。

彼は一流でした。

Exotic heroes, the road to success - Mr. Cho and Yuki's rehabilitation story

　Let me tell you about the most surprising person in my physical therapist story.

His name is Mr. Zhao and he is a Chinese bachelor in his 30s.

He was truly a wonderful person, a kind hearted man.

His monthly income from his job in Japan alone is over 500,000 and his favorite car is an Alfa Romeo.

The reason why I know such detailed information is because Mr. Zhao showed me everything.　From 0-0-0, Mr. Zhao had temporarily returned to China to visit his parents. And when I entered the hospital room, there was something strange in the atmosphere. The nurses and the atmosphere around me was different from usual.

I felt some presence behind the curtains.

Yuki: "Hello, Ms. Zhao. I am Yuki, a physical therapist, and I am in charge of this case. May I come in?"

Ms. Zhao: "Sure."
