Jingu Staduim

Jingu Stadium is one of Tokyo’s prominent sporting venues, located in Shinjuku. Officially known as Meiji Jingu Stadium, it is primarily used for baseball games and is home to the Tokyo Yakult Swallows, a professional baseball team in Japan's Central League.

Opened in 1926, Jingu Stadium is one of the oldest baseball stadiums in Japan. It was originally built near Meiji Shrine, a Shinto shrine dedicated to Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken, hence the name "Jingu," meaning shrine.
