Again. (#05)
Once upon a time Alien VILLA was weak,
so always being bullied by others.
Indeed that alien VILLA was physically weak,
but it had extreme power of mind.
Its strong frustration allowed the coward to stop time.
But even the ability could not perfectly stop time,
but accelerate its own movement to the limit,
just for five seconds at once.
So all the things around looked as if they never moved,
even though they actually moved extremely too slowly.
Alien VILLA, in turn, began to attack others.
Just five seconds made the alien almost invincible.

MOROBOSHI fought a hard battle with alien VILLA.
He has since tried to master what the alien performed.

(Pretty tough to learn.  More concentration and Better timing of breath.)

As a university student,
SOMA was second to none in every shooting competition.
These days he just takes part in two events.

One is 50m rifle 3 positions.
(45 minutes prone, 75 miniutes standing, and 60 minutes kneeling)
It takes three hours to finish, so the event is called 'rifle marathon.'
Extrreme concentration is necessary.

The other is 25m rapid fire pistol.
(8 sec, 6 sec, 4 sec, 5 shots × 2 sets each, 30 shots a day)
This event is performed in two days, totally 60 shots   
Finally, it takes less than 1 second a shot.

As a matter of course,
the champion is chosen as an Olympic hopeful.
But SOMA is not interested in the Game,
so he has declined to participate.

Mt Fuji, winter

Now, SOMA and MOROBOSHI
have decided to climb off-season Mt Fuji
in order to excercise body and mind.
But it is like a pleasure for them.

First plan, they were planning to climb
by Gotemba route, the longest.
But they do not have so much time,
so by Fuji-yoshida route.
It is even the most popular one, 
but if you feel easy, you will have much trouble.

Mt Fuji has already had a snow crown,
and they have dared to decide the worst day on purpose.

"It's a nice day today, isn't it?" MOROBOSHI

"Yes, the harder, the better." SOMA

When you arrive at the 5th station of Mt Fuji,
you usually have to be get used to the atmospheric pressure.
However, as they has come to run the iron-man race in mind,
they start to climb soon in the haevy rain.

They wear powered clothing of new material,
but MOROBOSHI feels colder than SOMA doe,
because he comes form the world of light.
Thus, he tries to challenge the tough training.

For some time, on the comparatively flat road,
they run at high speed like marathon runners.
Passing the 6th station, the route becomes a zig-zag one,
and looking up to the top among the clouds
sometimes the mountain huts can be seen. 
Even though they are to be seen,
it takes a few hours to reach them.
Or sometimes the fog grows thicker and thicker,
and nothing can be seen.
As soon as  it clears up,
a mount of clouds attack from below.

Now, they are at the 7th station.

"Are you OK, MOROBOSHI?"

"Of course, OK."
(Not so OK, but SOMA san keeps a high pace.
Is he really a human?)

The spaceship of alien PEGA is hidden in the snow
at the bottom of the top crater of Mt Fuji.
It is, as a matter of course, the Youth
that the alien is targetting at.

Around the 8th station, MOROBOSHI slows down.
Tomoe-kan and Edoya hut, which are closed during the winter,
looks as if they were  ruins in the deep snow.
The higher the route is, the steeper it will become.

"If you don't feel good, take it easy."

(Oh no.  Just lost sight of SOMA san.)

Whiteout, MOROBOSHI can see almost nothing.

(It's not the 9th Station, but what's the HON 8th Station!)

He belongs to the mountaineering club,
but this is his first visit to Mt Fuji.

(Strange!  Not so cold as aliens Pole (#25) and Zampa (#35) made.)

It usually takes about 5 to 6 hour
to reach the 9th station from the 5th one,
but today it takes them less than 3 hours to pass under TORII,
or a gateway to the shrine.

Finally, MOROBOSHI has got to the top,
but he cannot find SOMA.

(To Kenga-mine?) 
It's the top of tops 3776m,
to which it takes another tens of minutes.

Just before the observatory,
he finds SOMA walking
as if he were haunted by an evil spirit.

"SOMA saaan!"

Called several times, SOMA does not turn around.
He claerly looks strange.

Snow does not fall down just from the sky,
but also gushes up from the bottom of crater, MYSTERIOUSLY.

(Snow from below isn't natural. 
Feeling bad may be due to this artificial blizzard.)

MOROBOSHI puts on red glasses and teleport to SOMA.
But the moment, SOMA dives into the crater.
Teleporting again, he catches hold of SOMA
and falls down onto the snow on the bottom 
with his body under SOMA.

About 10m from where MOROBOSHI stands up,
SOMA stands up and looks at him.
Deep in the snow behind SOMA,
ET radar shows there is a spaceship of alien PEGA.
SOMA is brought into a state of hypnosis and manipulated
by the artificial snow.

SOMA has a pistol in his stronger hand,
and targets at MOROBOSHI.

(Have to move faster.  Can I do it?)

MOROBOSHI enhances his concentration to the maximum.
The moment time stops in a moment of moments,
he gets down to the right,
SOMA's bullet grazes him on the left cheek,
at the almost same time,
his knife of light shoots down SOMA's pistol.

And MOROBOSHI has already teleported into the spaceship.
The ship has extremely barometic pressure inside.
Alien PEGA panics at the unexpected visitor.

(Savvy!)

When his BEAM destroys the wall, the ship and the alien are crushed.
They were not resistant to the Earth's atmospheric pressure,
so they made the special snow maintain themselves.

"SOMA san!  Are you OK?  SOMA san!"

"Oh, MOROBOSHI.  What are we doing here?"

They are on the wooden bench in front of a suvenir stand, closed now.

"You suddenly fell down around the 9th station."

"I climbed too fast.  Maybe mountain sickness.
You transported me here, thank you very much."

"Not at all, my pleasure.  Just begun to clear up, hasn't it?"

Mountain weather is changeable.
Now the blizzard stops, almost no wind.

"I dreamed.  I exchanged gunfire with you.  And I lost." SOMA

"I cannot shoot you so fast." MOROBOSHI
(I managed to win just because time was stopped 0.1 second.
If not, I'd have been shot through my head.)

"Let's go down, shall we?"

"YES HOPE!"

The sky has become blue.
There is really bright sunlight on the snow.
It feels even a little warm.

From the nearby top of Mt Fuji
they can see the duck-shaped Lake YAMANAKA.
