The horizon

The horizon in a scene of a film can evoke many emotions, and can bring people closer together. Even the farthest and most foreign locations can enable us to empathize and understand different cultures and individuals. By seeing the horizon behind the actor, the viewer can realize that we humans live in the same world. Films helped me understand the beauty of human lives. My creative endeavor was started by my father’s camera which helped me capture the world thorough my travels. Since then, I have met various types of people through the lens of my camera. I obtain a new vision of live and take inspiration every time I take human portraits. These creative travels have certainly contributed to my skill of storytelling. Through my personal experience and professional career as a photographer, painter and writer, I have gained a desire to integrate these creative skills in my work. I would like to collaborate with people from all over the world and professionals.

I have a habit of seeing life in two distinct positions – a yes or no, 0 or 1, black and white. However, the reality is that things change, and that these two positions often get blurry. It is fun to observe how nature causes these changes. I find pleasure in standing on the border as a spectator as much as possible, on the grey area so to speak, whether it is 0 or 1, whether it is a lie or the truth. When I am behind the camera, I feel like a referee. The border that determines where you are from yourself and where you are from others is difficult to capture, and I want to distinguish emotions between emotions as much as possible, I want to find the border where things transition. Then I release the shutter. Telling a lie or stating the truth - if two options appear in front of me, I will take both of them. I’d like to talk about a story that is a lie and the truth at the same time. I want to challenge the viewer and their perspectives. If you stand on a well-deserved boundary line, everything can be seen clearly. I want to make films on such a point.
