The “Ticket master”
Self-introduction
Hello everyone. My name is Hiroaki Uematsu, a sophomore in the Physical Education Department! You may be a little surprised to hear that I’m only a second-year student⁉ Most of the people around me are relatively older than me. Since I entered college, I feel like everyone around me is older. However, that’s OK because everyone is so kind! I work for “TSUKUBA LIVE!” as a TSUKUBA LIVE (TL) Creator, and I’m in charge of the secretariat and ticket management. It doesn't sound like a job that has much to do with physical training (in fact, it doesn't!). Anyway, I will explain about what that job entails!
Job Description
The secretariat mainly manages people and things. In particular, I often coordinate the schedule for all the TL creators and the staff on the day of the event. To be honest, it’s a simple job. However, I’m better suited to this kind of work. If I concentrate on it, an hour passes by like a second. It's true. No, never mind, I take my words back. In ticket management, I create the ticket website and respond to inquiries or questions from the ticket buyers. I am the “Ticket master.” At first (I was a first-year student at the time of the “TSUKUBA LIVE!” event on March 26), I didn't know how to create a website or how to answer emails, but now I can do almost everything by myself. I’m deeply moved by this. Don't you think it’s deeply moving⁉
Future Ambitions
I believe that “TSUKUBA LIVE!” is a completely new challenge that will create a new value for college sports. I love new things. I love doing things that are different from others and that no one else is doing. In relation to that, I recently realized being young is a weapon in itself. Few people get involved in such a large sporting event in their first or second year, and in academia, I am trying to start my research now. The earlier you jump into something, the faster you will grow. Life is short. Live life without regrets.
Well, stay tuned for my next article!
