軽銀指物｜Aluminum Joinery伝統的で自由な指物箱｜Traditional/Unfettered Sashimono日本の伝統的な組み接ぎ技術により、アルミ無垢材を指物箱に仕立てました。木部とのコントラストが美しい、色とりどりのアルマイトカラーは選ぶのが楽しそうです。日本に息づく差物技術は、杉や檜といった比較的柔らかい木材の特徴が生かされたものです。それならば柔らかい金属であれば新しい指物ができるのではないか、と私たちは考えました。そして、新しい指物であれば、新しい魅力で溢れるものにしたい、と軽銀（アルミの古語）を7色に彩りました。吊り箇所がわからないよう工夫を凝らした着色アルマイト処理によるカラフルな側板を、木製の底板をはめ込みながら「あられ組」で接合させて仕立てられます。とても斬新な指物の升ですが、底板やフタに使用されている木材（ナラ）が伝統的な指物の温かみを受け継いでおり、インテリアとしての親和性が高いのも特徴です。玄関先に、ベッドサイドに、パウダールームに、リビングに。またホテルなどでの使用にもフィットしそうな軽銀指物を自由な発想でお使い頂き、日常をカラフルに彩って頂けましたら幸いです。
