2.Bach's cross false relation

Bach, a well-known classical musician, used a technique called "cross false relation" in his Matthew Passion.

The cross false relation is, simply put, a kind of prohibition in music theory.

The lyrics of this song can be interpreted in two ways.

The theme of the back lyrics is that the main character is a girl who is having a bad type of affair with a married partner (man).

The beginning of the second A melody, "Your lie that you are so bad at," means that the other guy is dating the main character by lying about being single.
But such a big lie is easily exposed.
The protagonist knows that the other guy has a wife and children, even though he thinks he is not.

He is not a child enough to break up with the other guy by confronting him with that lie.
In other words, the other guy is a bad guy, but the girl is also a bad guy.

The other guy has a wife and a child.
So it's a love that will never be fulfilled, but it's a love that can't be stopped.
