My basis idea of growing my financial assets

I think that markets are cyclical. Bubbles are bubbles. Once formed, they burst. But they emerge again and again, and again, as a result of the psychology of people. To accumulate my financial assets, I would like to get the most out of the cycle.

In the long run, I would like to invest in leave-it-alone indexes as the cornerstones of my financial assets. They may not increase enormously in the short-term in and of itself but grow more steadily than any other individual stocks in the long-term. It protects my financial assets from contingencies.

While investing from a bird’s-eye view, I would like to ride the wave at opportune times too. If a roaring bull market begins, I should buy promising stocks and sell them at a transition of the cycle. (This is psychologically difficult.)

If I miss the time to escape, things get worse. Sometimes it rains at Disneyland, and overstaying gets you to catch a cold.
