My current activities

・Internship at simulator company
I am currently participating in an internship at Kyushu Socket Link(Kagoshima, Japan). The company focuses on the development of flight simulators, drive simulators and flight simulators for the next generation of ‘flying cars’. Of particular note is the company's project to develop helicopter training simulators for disaster prevention and firefighting. This initiative responds to a serious challenge facing Japan. In recent years, a shortage of pilots in the firefighting and disaster management field has become apparent in Japan, and training and securing such pilots is a pressing issue. In Japan, which faces a wide range of disaster risks such as earthquakes, typhoons and large-scale floods, neglecting this problem is a matter of national crisis management and a serious threat to the lives of many citizens, and the company's business philosophy is to contribute to solving this problem. The main task of my internship is to conduct international market research and explore potential sales channels for the various simulator businesses. Specifically, I will analyze trends in the international market for flight simulators, drive simulators and the promising flying car simulator. In addition, we are also investigating the possibility of integrating these simulator systems with AI technology, as well as efficient methods of collecting high-quality data using AI. Through this internship, we stand at the interface between cutting-edge technology and the solution of social issues, and gain valuable experience in exploring business possibilities from a global perspective.

・Book writing and publishing
I am planning to publish a new book on security and AI in September this year. The book will be widely available through Amazon Kindle and aims to provide a novel perspective on the integration of AI and international security. In light of the recent debate surrounding the military use of AI, the book will provide a detailed analysis of artificial intelligence technologies developed for warfare purposes and their applications. Furthermore, it scrutinizes developments in the international community, including the US, China and Japan, and discusses short-, medium- and long-term prospects in the field of international security for artificial intelligence technologies and their applications in the ‘new domains’ (conflict areas requiring particularly advanced advanced technologies such as space and cyber), with reference to the current situation in Ukraine and Gaza. .

・‘note’ and daily activities
I publish my daily activity reports and research results on the ‘note’ platform. This platform serves as a forum for exchanging knowledge and opinions with a wider audience. The published content is diverse and refers not only to artificial intelligence technology, but also to the latest weapons technology and even to past warfare operations. The platform is not limited to a narrowly defined field of expertise, but is continuously updated with information as a place where diverse ideas can be freely disseminated and as an opportunity to incorporate new perspectives into research and studies. In addition, the publication schedule of the aforementioned new book and how to access it on Kindle will also be announced in ‘note’. Through this initiative, we hope to deepen the debate on the integration of security and AI and to engage in a constructive dialogue with a wider audience.
