How do I make a manufacturing company?

It is easy to think about runnnig an IT company. What they are doing is basically, create an iOS and android app and publish it. That's it. Simple, huh? Then how about running a company which sells cars, computers, or CPU? What are they doing really? Yes, I can say that because I can make a mobile app and I can't make a car or something complex. That's why I feel it sounds impossible to run such a company.

But, really, how do they manage that? Let's think about creating a car manufacturing company with me step by step, shall we?

First, what you have to do is what? I guess it's just to register your company. Let's call it Gesla for now. Second, to be honest, I don't know what to do from here.

One thing I think of is to attract people who has already worked on this kind of problem. Like former employees at TOYOTA or somewhere else. And ask them how to make a car! That's simple.

The problem is, it's just too complex. The problem itself is so complex that you can't grasp the overall picture of what to do, or what should we do to create a car. You have to consider about various kinds of problems from the very beginning. How to manage your finance, how to get the ingredients, how to attract people who want to create a car,  how to pull out talented, skillful people from the existing car manufacturing companies, etc, etc. It's just a lot to handle.

In reality, what real car manufacturing companies are doing is, I guess, they didn't think about creating these kinds of cars from the start. I think it's more like a gradual thing. Maybe they start to sell a simple product which has nothing to do with a car at all. Or the founder is super skillful, he/she has already run their own company and have much experience. Only after having money, skills, and experience can he/she start such a difficult business.

One big example is Tesla. Yes I mean Elon Musk. Although technically Elon is not a founder of Tesla, according to this video,

I think he is doing a great job, I mean, amazing.

Practically, If you want to start such a company, how would you do? I am a kind of person who takes everything other people are doing as my own thing. So I like to think about it. How would I do if I run a company which sells complex, difficult products? I don't know the answer because I don't have much experience about it. But, as I've been developing a small, tiny web application by myself lately, I kinda familiar with the meaning of how it goes when you start a company. Although it is not enough since as I said, creating an app is way easier than manufacturing a car or something. But still it has similar atmosphere.
