How to get there by bus
You can also take a bus from Gangnam Station, but here are directions from Seoul Station. When you exit from Exit 9-1 of the Seoul Station Subway Line, you will find the No. 5 bus stop right in front of you. The name of the bus stop is “Seoul Station Bus Transfer Center/서울역 버스 환승센터”. There, take bus No. 1150. Buses arrive about every 15 minutes. To get on the bus, touch your T-money card when you get on, and touch it again when you get off. The fare is 2800 won. The bus stop of destination is “Sian Elysium/시안 엘리시움". The name of the stop is different from that of the destination, Samsun Elysium, but it is okay. It takes about 1.5 hours from Seoul Sta.
In the graveyard
You will find the entrance as soon as you get off the bus. Go up the hill on your left. Keep climbing and you will see a cemetery. Walk further and you will see a building on your right. This is the cemetery management office. Pass it and walk further. There are stairs around the yellow line on the road. When you go up the stairs, you will see a row of graves on the left side with numbers written in order from “목련 1”. The number is “목련 23,” and the 23rd grave from the right, it means “목련 23-23,” is the grave of actor Lee Sun-Kyun. Walking up the hill is quite steep, so it is better to drive if you can.
The grave of Lee Sun-Kyun is located at a place with a good view. It is a quiet place where you can hear the sound of the river. He rests there peacefully. You can put there fresh flowers, but artificial flowers are not allowed. Please be careful.
