Situation in Ukraine
It has been 748 days since Russia invaded Kyiv.
First
general things.
According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
the Russian military losses were
920 soldiers
8 tanks
24 armored combat vehicles
33 artillery pieces
1 multiple rocket launcher
2 air defense systems
59 drones
88 other vehicles.
The entire front reported 73 ground battles in a single day.
And the ratio of the number of visually confirmed losses of Ukrainian equipment to Russian losses is 1 to 2.0
i.e.
twice as many on the Russian side as on the Ukrainian side.
The Russian losses are mostly infantry fighting vehicles and artillery
while the Ukrainian losses are mostly tanks
and there are reports that there may have been rocket attacks on the Patriot missile sites.

In the attack on the aircraft factory in Taganrog that we reported on yesterday
an analysis of satellite imagery has determined that the A-50 was in a hangar at the time of the attack and was most likely damaged.
The analysis indicates that the explosion occurred near the entrance to the hangar
but the interior of the hangar could not be confirmed
and the extent of the damage is unknown.
The airfield adjacent to the plant was manned by S300 or S400 air defense systems
but at the very least the successful attack on the hangar indicates that the Ukrainian drone was able to evade and attack Russian air defense systems.

Avdiivka
The Russians carried out 15 attacks in this area.
