Situation in Ukraine
It has been 807 days since Russia invaded Kyiv.

First of all,
general matters.

According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,
Russian losses were 980 soldiers
5 tanks
32 armored fighting vehicles
47 guns
4 multiple rocket launchers
2 air defense systems
51 drones
77 other vehicles.

The entire front reported 146 ground battles in one day.

Russian losses exceeded 1,300 and the ground fighting has been intense.

Here is a brief news report on the situation in Ukraine.

You can also use YouTube's chapter feature to watch where you need to.

1st.
Ukrainian drones successfully attacked an oil refinery 1,500 kilometers away in a straight line.

On the morning of the 9th,
a drone attack on Gazprom Neftekhim Saravat LLC,
one of Russia's largest oil processing facilities,
which refines 10 million tons of crude oil annually,
damaged distillation equipment,
according to local media.

Video footage shows smoke rising from the facility.

According to the aircraft's shadow,
which was captured by chance,
it appears to be different from any previously known drone,
and appears to be a modified light aircraft.

Second.
Armenia,
a supposed Russian ally,
has taken another step forward in its de-Russianization.

According to the country's Foreign Ministry,
Armenia has refused to contribute funds to this year's budget as resolved by the Russian-led Collective Security Treaty Organization CSTO.

Armenia,
which took a turn away from Russia after CSTO peacekeepers failed to stop Azerbaijan's armed invasion of Nagorno-Karabakh last year,
has been working to build security ties with France,
the U.S.,
and India.

Russia has responded to this move by saying that it has given an ultimatum.

Third.
Czech President Pavel gave an interview to the German media in which he described the situation regarding the purchase of an estimated 800,000 or 1 million artillery shells from an undisclosed country,
led by the Czech Republic.

The first 180,000 shells are scheduled to arrive in Ukraine in June of this year,
and contracts for tens or hundreds of thousands more have already been signed," Pavel said,
adding that the problem is that "Russia is preparing countermeasures because we have explained the plan to many countries and they have contributed funds," suggesting that Russia is aware of the plan and is engaged in manipulation. He suggested that Russia was aware of the plan and was preparing countermeasures.

When asked about Russia,
President Pavel said,
"Russia's values are completely different from ours,
and we used to seek mutually beneficial solutions,
but now Russia has become a country that understands only 'winning' and 'losing. He also pointed out that the "outspending" of the Western countries leads to Russia's victory,
which in turn means the defeat of the Western countries.

Now,
let us look at the war situation in each region.
I will focus on the areas where the war situation has changed.
You can follow the changes with the date in full screen on the big screen.

Northeast: Luhansk region
Eastern Bakhmut

This section reports on the war situation on the Svatove-Kreminna line,
from the area around Siversk to Bakhmut.

The Russians attacked 16 times in Kupyansk,
11 times along the Svatove-Kreminna line,
and 26 times around Sibersk and in Bakhmut.

Kupyansk Area

After capturing Kislivka,
the Russians appear to have decided to attack along the highway,
with the next tactical targets being Stepovanovoselivka and Pishchane,
where ground battles are expected to intensify.

A quick glance at the map shows that the Russians are aiming to close in on Kupyansk from two directions: the northeastern axis of Shinkivka and the southeastern axis of the attack.

Around Sibersk

In Bilohorivka,
Russian troops attacked from the north,
but were repelled by Ukrainian drones.

What we are showing you is from the Ukrainian side,
where the Russian troops are retreating at the location shown on the map.

The Russians attacked from a water treatment plant east of the town,
but the Ukrainians repelled the Russian tanks as they exited the water treatment area.

In both cases,
the battle map remains unchanged.

ChasivYar sector

Heavy fighting is taking place in this sector.
Russian paratroopers are attacking east and southeast of ChasivYar,
near Ivanivske,
and near Klishchiivka,
but Ukrainian troops have repulsed all of them,
so the battle map remains unchanged.

The momentum of the Russian attack on ChasivYar has slightly decreased,
and there are increasing indications that the Russians will break through to the southern outskirts of ChasivYar.

Southeast Donetsk Oblast.

Weather in Avdiivka was hazy.
The minimum temperature is 2 degrees Celsius and the maximum is 16 degrees Celsius.
The weather forecast for today is also calling for sunshine.

The following is an update on the situation in the areas of Avdiivka,
Marinka,
and Vuhledar.

Avdiivka

In this sector,
the Russians made 45 attacks,
mainly on Novo Oleksandrivka,
Sokir,
Evhenivka,
Novopokrovske,
Umanske,
Yasnobrodivka,
Netilove,
Neveleske,
and many others.

1st.
Around Ocheretine,
the Russians attacked in all directions,
but were repulsed by the Ukrainian army,
with no success for the Russians.

2nd.
In the direction of Sokir and Novopokrovske,
the Russians also launched vehicle attacks,
but were repulsed by Ukrainian drone fire as they exited Soloviove.

The image shown is of the 47th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Army observing Russian soldiers in hiding at the location shown on the map.
What happened after the observation is shown in the telegram.

The Russians also attacked Novopokrovske from the west,
but this attack was also repulsed by the Russians,
who lost their T80 tanks,
and there is no change in the battle map here.

Third.
At Umanske,
the Russians attacked north and south of the river,
advancing on the northern axis of attack,
and the Russians raised a flag in the center of Umanske to assert their occupation of the town.

Shown here is the 114th Automated Rifle Brigade of the Russian Army,
which evaded heavy Ukrainian artillery fire and placed its flag on the World War II monument at the location shown on the map.

However,
the unit was subsequently repulsed by heavy Ukrainian fire,
and the battle map has been updated to include this location as an extension of the disputed area.

4th.
In the direction of Yasnobrodivka,
the Russians may have made a slight advance,
but the Ukrainians also returned fire,
and footage of Ukrainian infantry fighting vehicles damaged by Russian drones confirms that this location is the front line.

What we are showing you is the Russian side,
and the location is shown on the map.

There are no changes to the battle map at this time.

Fifth.
Several unconfirmed reports indicate that the Russians have advanced from Pervomaiske to Kolihnyuk and occupied a garden store to the north of it.

We will update the battle map here when we receive confirmation.

Other than that,
we have information that a Russian Su-25 bomber was shot down in this area,
although the location is unknown.

So far,
the Russians have attacked heavily,
but the Ukrainian military has defended effectively,
with the result that the Russians have only suffered more losses.

Marinka area
Vuhledar Area

The Russians launched more than 10 attacks in this sector.

In the eastern part of Krasnohorivka,
the Russians are gradually advancing in close combat.

According to positional video footage,
Ukrainian forces are conducting artillery and drone strikes in the mapped area,
confirming that this area is controlled by Russian forces,
and unconfirmed reports indicate that Russian forces have reached the hospital,
which is a stronghold of Ukrainian forces.

We have updated the battle map to include this area as disputed territory and occupied by Russian forces.

On the other hand,
in the axis of attack south of Krasnohorivka,
the Russian offensive has been repulsed by Ukrainian forces,
leaving the battle map unchanged.

Rear Areas
1st.
Cable TV,
which was broadcasting a military parade on Russia's Victory Day,
was hacked and suddenly switched to the war in Ukraine,
broadcasting to Russian televisions footage of Russian military losses and the moment Russian soldiers returned to the ground.

Second.
Russia struggles to maintain troop discipline.

In Zaytseve,
Luhansk Oblast,
one mobilized soldier from Moscow was arrested and locked in a dungeon for taking out his commander,
and the Telegram channel that reported this said,
whether true or not,
that the soldier would be thrown into an assault unit with no chance of survival The Telegram channel,
which reported the story,
said the soldier would be thrown into an assault squad with no chance of survival,
whether true or not.

South,
Zaporizhia Province.
South,
province of Kherson.

In this sector,
the Russians attacked 19 times at Stalomaiorsk,
Verbove,
and Robotyne,
and four times at Krinky.

In Stalomaiorsk,
some sources close to Russia claim that Russian troops have already penetrated south of the town and occupied several blocks,
but so far there is no information that can be confirmed,
and some sources do not report any information at all.

One piece of information that we can confirm is that the Russians attacked the area shown on the map with multiple rockets,
indicating that this is land controlled by the Ukrainian military.

We will report this information as soon as it is confirmed.

Other than that,
there was no other information that could affect the battle map in this area.

That's all for today.
Please feel free to leave your analysis of the war situation and your thoughts on the news in the comments section.

Thank you for watching.
