Situation in Ukraine
It has been 744 days since Russia invaded Kyiv.

First,
general things.

According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,
Russian losses were
880 soldiers
11 tanks
19 armored combat vehicles
25 cannons
2 multiple rocket launchers
35 drones
75 other vehicles.

Russian losses continue to be high,
and social networking sites are reporting that artillery shells are beginning to reach the Ukrainian military front.

Across the entire front,
there were 92 reports of ground fire in one day.

And the ratio of the number of losses of Ukrainian equipment to Russian losses,
which can be visually confirmed,
is 1 to 4.4 compared to the losses on the Ukrainian side.

The losses on the Russian side are mostly artillery,
infantry fighting vehicles,
civilian trucks and guns; conversely,
there is no particular trend on the Ukrainian side.

Northeast: Luhansk region
Eastern part,
towards Bakhmut

This section reports on the war situation on the Svatove-Kreminna line from Halkiu and Kupyansk,
and from the Siversk area to the Bakhmut area.

In this direction Russian troops were four times in Shinkivka and Tabayivka,
Terny,
Bilohorivka and Spirne,
and 11 times in the direction of Bakhmut.

Kupyansk area

South of Pershottravneve,

Ukrainian troops attacked and mopped up where the Russians had advanced,

Bakhmut Area

There is no change to the battle map here,
including Ivanivske,

Southeast Donetsk region.

The weather in Avdiivka is sunny and sometimes cloudy.
The minimum temperature is -6 degrees Celsius and the maximum is 4 degrees Celsius.
Today's weather is forecast to be cloudy with a slight chance of showers.

The weather is stable,
but rain is finally in the forecast for next week.

Here is an update on the situation in Avdiivka,
Marinka and Vuhledar.

Avdiivka area

In this area,
the Russians carried out 21 attacks,
mainly on the lines of Berdych,
Orlivka,
and Tonenke.

Ukrainian military spokesman Likhovy reports that Russian forces are intensifying their offensive against Tonenke.

The axis of attack between Stepove and Berdych is still being attacked by both sides today.

The Russians launched an attack from the road south of Stepove after dropping hot-air bombs on Berdych to deter Ukrainian forces,
but this attack was repulsed by Ukrainian forces.

Conversely,
the Ukrainians attacked the Russians on the road to the north and established control over the area,
but this time the Russians used a drone strike on the Ukrainian positions at the location shown on the map,
confirming this location as the front line.

In Orlivka,
south of the city,
multiple sources combined indicate that Russian forces have advanced about half of the field on the southern outskirts of the city.

We have updated the battle map in this area from contested territory to Russian-occupied territory.

Third.
In Tonenke,
positional video shows that Russian forces launched an attack on the outskirts of the mapped town,
but were repulsed by Ukrainian forces,
with no results for the Russians.

Ukrainian forces are retreating to a western corner of Tonenke,
monitoring the western half of the town and using drones to repel Russian troops entering the kill zone as soon as they are spotted.

What we are showing you are the Russian T72 tanks in the location shown on the map.

The defense of Tonenke will lead to the defense of Pervomaiske,
so the battle will be fought on the attack axis from Berdych to Tonenke for a while.

The battle map remains the same.

Otherwise,
on the Pervomaiske and Neveleske offensive axes,
the Russian offensive will be repelled by the Ukrainian army,
and the battle map will remain unchanged.

Marinka Sector

In this sector the Russians have made 20 attacks and are trying to break through the Ukrainian defensive line.

In Heoryivka,
where we reported yesterday that the Russians had advanced,
the Russians today again attacked the western side of the town with several rocket attacks,
followed by a ground attack,
which was repulsed by Ukrainian artillery fire and drones,
with the loss of two BMP3 infantry fighting vehicles.

In Novomichailovka the Russians have reinforced their forces and are attacking from the east and south of the town.

In the city center,
the Russian 155th Independent Marine Brigade is attacking repeatedly,

to the south of the city,
Russian troops are attacking to semi-encircle the city,
and Russian T-80 tanks and MTLB armored fighting vehicles have been destroyed at the locations indicated on the map,
confirming that this is the contested area.

South,
Zaporizhia province.

In this sector the Russians carried out 16 attacks on Verbove and Robotyne.

In Velbove,
the Russians continued their attacks from yesterday,
but the Ukrainians responded with artillery fire and were repulsed in the same place,
with no success for the Russians.

In Robotyne,
the Russians resumed their offensive from the west,
launching attacks on two axes of attack,
both of which were repulsed by Ukrainian forces,
with no results for the Russians.

On the contrary,
the Ukrainian forces attacked south of Robotyne,
and considering the position of the Russian artillery,
it is possible that they made a slight advance in the wooded area,
but so far there is no change in the battle map.

Rear areas

In Kazan,
1,000 kilometers from the Ukrainian border,
there are reports of a fire at the Higher Tank Command School.
