Situation in Ukraine
It has been 851 days since Russia invaded Kyiv.
First,
a general matter.
According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,
Russian losses were 1,270 soldiers
10 tanks
15 armored fighting vehicles
61 guns
2 multiple rocket launchers
2 air defense systems
50 drones
13 cruise missiles
52 other vehicles.
The entire front reported 120 ground battles in a single day.
And the ratio of the number of losses of Ukrainian equipment to Russian losses,
which can be visually confirmed,
is 1 to 1.6 compared to the number of losses on the Ukrainian side.
The losses on the Russian side are dominated by infantry fighting vehicles,
followed by tanks and boats,
while on the Ukrainian side,
on the contrary,
pickups and Starlink antennas stand out,
as they did yesterday.
Now,
here is the war situation in each region.
We will focus on the areas where the war situation has changed.
You can follow the changes with the date if you use the full screen view on the big screen.
Northeast,
toward Harkiv
This report focuses on the situation in the Halkiu area,
where Russian troops crossed the border on May 10 and launched a military invasion.
The weather in Harkiv is cloudy.
The minimum temperature is 18 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is 30 degrees Celsius.
Thunderstorms are forecast for today.
Russian forces in this area have reduced the frequency of attacks and there are reports that some units have withdrawn.
Russian forces have launched attacks in the Mayorsk area,
which we have been reporting on for the past few days,
and this area may have been changed to attract Ukrainian forces to disperse their forces.
Vovtyansk Area
In Vovtyansk,
Russian troops launched an assault from the central hospital area to the west,
but were repulsed by Ukrainian troops at the same location after failing to advance for the past month.
However,
in addition to infantry assaults,
the Russians have also been using vehicles,
although to a lesser extent,
and video footage with location data shows that BMP infantry fighting vehicles and MTLB armored fighting vehicles were repulsed by Ukrainian forces at the locations shown on the map.
Conversely,
Ukrainian forces are bombing buildings encircling Russian troops to encourage them to surrender and reduce their strength.
The battle map remains unchanged.
Northeast: Luhansk Oblast
Eastern ChasivYar
The following is an update on the situation in the area from Kupyansk to ChasivYar.
In this area,
the Russians attacked 10 times in Kupyansk,
12 times along the Svatbekremina line,
10 times around Sibersk,
9 times around ChasivYar,
and 12 times around Mayorsk.
Svatove-Kreminna line
Russian forces are striking at weak points in the Ukrainian military defense.
West of Novovojane,
just halfway between Svatovye and Kreminna,
the Russian army attacked on two axes of attack,
but was repulsed before it could reach Ukrainian positions,
according to the video with positioning information.
The image you are seeing is of the Ukrainian Army's 3rd Assault Brigade,
on the southern axis of attack.
The Russians attempted to break through with a single turtle tank and an infantry assault,
but the turtle tank was abandoned and the infantry was repulsed with heavy losses.
The battle map remains unchanged,
but some of the disputed areas have been added in orange.
ChasivYar sector
In this sector,
the Russians resumed their attacks a few days ago,
and the offensive and defensive battles are gradually intensifying in the outposts Kalinivka and Kanal.
In Canal,
according to the located video,
Russian troops have made a slight advance and reached a concrete factory north of the city center,
while Ukrainian troops are returning fire with drones.
The image you are seeing is from the 24th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Army,
which is using a reconnaissance drone to observe the Russian soldiers inside the plant.
For now,
there is no change in the battle map,
but we will keep an eye on the situation.
Also,
a Russian military blogger reported that the Russian 98th Airborne Division failed to attack at ChasivYar,
although the exact location is unknown,
and that almost the entire attack battalion was killed and Commander Lapshin was called to hell.
Other than that,
the Russian attack was repulsed by the Ukrainian forces,
leaving the battle map unchanged.
Around Mayorsk
In the direction from Mayorsk to Pivnichne,
where we have been reporting that Russian troops have been attacking and advancing for the past few days,
information is scarce and unclear,
but we have information that there is currently a ground war over two waste disposal sites west of Shumy.
To draw a little on the map,
Russian military bloggers are emphasizing the strategic significance of the attack,
as Konstantinovka is located 20 kilometers from the axis of attack.
There are no changes to the battle map at this time,
but we will make changes as more information is gathered.
Southeast Donetsk Oblast.
The following is an update on the war situation in the areas of Avdiivka,
Marinka,
and Velikanovosilka.
Avdiivka
In this sector,
the Russians launched 36 attacks in various directions,
but there was no information on any change in the battle map,
as the Ukrainian army blocked the Russian advance and took measures to stabilize the front.
Russian offensives are active in the vicinity of Ocheretine,
and there are unconfirmed reports that in Sokir,
Russian forces have taken control of a Ukrainian military ring north of the settlement and are attempting to move around it to the north of Sokir.
Marinka sector
The Russians made 11 attacks in this sector,
7 of which were repulsed by Ukrainian forces,
and 4 attacks continued,
but the Russians did not make any significant advances.
Verkhanovosyrka sector
In Staromaiorsk,
Ukrainian troops counterattacked north of the settlement with tanks and several armored vehicles,
but were unable to recapture it. 。。。。
Rear Area
A Russian Pantsir S air defense system was destroyed in Belgorod,
and there are reports of a direct cluster bomb hit,
but the crew was only injured,
as well as reports of explosions in Mariupol and Rostov: 。。。。
South,
Zaporizhia Province.
The momentum of the Russian offensive has decreased in this area,
but in Robotyne a Russian military presence has been confirmed northeast of the town.
1st.
According to the video with location information,
a small group of Russian soldiers walking at the location indicated on the map was attacked by Ukrainian troops,
one of them was wounded and asked for help from the soldiers following him,
but his fellow soldiers helped him get comfortable and he was seen just passing by.
We will send you an uneventful and peaceful scene here,
but we will post about this en route in the Telegram so that you can see it if you are ready to be swooned at night and not be able to sleep.
This leads us to believe that Robotyne is now controlled by the Russians,
except for a small part in the north,
so we have updated the battle map to assume that the Russians have occupied the area up to this point.
2nd.
In Kamyanske,
according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,
the Russian military has dropped 36 glide bombs,
which may lead to future attacks by ground forces in this direction,
so caution is advised. 。。。。
South,
province of Kherson.
Russian forces conducted seven attacks in this direction,
but Ukrainian forces defended and Russian forces had no success.
We are also informed that some units of the Russian 810th Marine Brigade in this area have been pulled out and assigned to Vovtyansk,
Harkiv,
as reported in the first part of the battle map.
Other.
Military critic Kovalenko published a list of weapons,
other than artillery shells,
that North Korea possesses and could provide to Russia.
2,000 T54s and T62s,
known as "Tenma
2A20 115mm self-propelled artillery and 2A46 125mm self-propelled artillery
A locally produced version of the BM21 Grado
10,000 82mm and 120mm mortars
When President Putin comes to North Korea,
Russia will buy these old weapons at exorbitant prices.
This news gave us a glimpse of Russia's equipment shortages.

F-16s are arriving in Ukraine," said Klitsch,
former Polish Defense Minister and Chairman of the EU Relations Committee.
He appeared on the interview program and mentioned the fighter aircraft coalition in his discussion of various coalitions,
including the Anti-Aircraft Missile Coalition and the Ammunition Coalition,
stating that "it took time to train the pilots,
but the F-16s have already been transferred to Ukraine as far as I know" and that "in the near future the air defense capabilities of Ukraine will increase." He expressed hope that "in the near future,
Ukraine's air defense capabilities will be enhanced.
Since there has been no official announcement from the Ukrainian side,
the aircraft arrived privately and may be operated privately for the time being.
2nd
Experts have analyzed President Putin's visit to North Korea,
saying that it was a major Russian failure.
First,
Semivolos,
director of the Center for Middle East Studies,
said,
"North Korea made President Putin's visit a condition in return for the provision of arms and ammunition. Russia complied with its insistent demands and visited the country.
North Korea attracted a great deal of attention,
and Kim Jong-un gave the impression that he had become a leader alongside President Putin," he assessed that North Korea raised the point,
but analyzed that "it was a failure for Russia,
which may have obtained North Korean ammunition,
but at the same time,
South Korean arms were provided to Ukraine."
The abc news analysis also made a similar analysis,
summarizing briefly,
"The seemingly successful visit to North Korea showed that Russia has declined to a country on par with North Korea,
and on the contrary,
it became a once-in-a-thousand opportunity for South Korea,
which aims to become the world's fourth largest arms exporter.
3rd.
In an article titled "Five Reasons Why Russia's Defense Spending Will Increase," The Bell reports that Russia is likely to experience a significant budget shortfall in defense spending,
which accounts for one-third of the national budget,
and that salaries for military personnel,
among other things,
are soaring.
Incidentally,
the average salary in Russia is 46,000 rubles (¥80,000),
but the salary of a new recruit in the Russian military,
which was previously 200,000 rubles (¥360,000) per month,
has now increased to 400,000 rubles (¥720,000),
and in addition to this,
the one-time enlistment fee paid by the regional government has soared to 1.3 million rubles (¥2.3 In addition to this,
the one-time enlistment fee paid by the local government has soared to 1.3 million rubles (2.3 million yen) in St. Petersburg.
Experts say that "MoD's salary expenditures alone are short of the budgeted 1.5 trillion rubles and are likely to reach 2 trillion rubles.
Moreover,
Russia's defense budget peaked this year and will be significantly reduced starting next year," he noted.
That's all for today.
