Situation in Ukraine
It's been 670 days since Russia invaded Kyiv,
so let's start with general matters.

According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,
Russian losses were,

760 soldiers
19 tanks
31 armored fighting vehicles
33 guns
2 multiple rocket launchers
2 air defense systems
2 aircraft
32 drones
2 cruise missiles
58 other vehicles.

Across the entire front,
there were 81 reports of ground combat in a single day.

And the ratio of the number of Ukrainian equipment losses to Russian losses,
which can be visually confirmed,
is 1 to 5.0,
compared to the number of losses on the Ukrainian side.

The Russian side is losing more civilian trucks,
sending soldiers to the front lines and launching aggressive offensives.
The Ukrainian side has no particular trend.

Here is a brief news report on the situation in Ukraine.
You can also watch the YouTube chapters to see where you need to go.

1st.
It has been revealed that the Ukrainian military has put a jet-propelled long-range drone into action.

The drone,
named U25 Skyline,
features a forward wing that increases its speed and makes it more difficult to intercept by Russian air defense units.

It may also have some stealth capabilities due to its flat shape,
edge treatment,
and slanted tail.

The drone was spotted in Berzhansk,
facing the Sea of Azov,
but unfortunately did not explode,
and was seen on SNS impaled on the roof of a building.

Second.
A female city councilor who applied to run for the Russian presidency has had her application rejected.

Ms. Dunzova,
40 years old,
was planning to "campaign for peace" through her election campaign,
but the Russian Central Election Commission unanimously rejected her application,
citing "errors in the documentation.

In his pledge,
he said,
"Russia is moving away from rights and freedom,
from love and peace,
from a wonderful future,
" but his friends "treated him like a freak.

The head of the election commission told him,
"You are young.
You have a future ahead of you,
" he was told.

Third.
Salum,
Permanent Secretary of the Estonian Ministry of Defense,
in an interview with Newsweek,
opined that the war in Ukraine "has entered a war of attrition that will last until 2024."

The end of the war of attrition is a matter of calculation,
" Salm said,

Russia is losing 40% of its soldiers every month.
He noted the high loss rate of Russian soldiers,
saying,
"Russia is losing 40% of its soldiers every month,
which means that every six months it gathers 130,
000 soldiers,
90,
000 of whom return to the land,
and 40,
000 of whom can be used as actual troops.

Looking to the future,
he noted that "Russia can still continue this war of attrition,
" and cited "Western assistance" as a decisive factor in the Ukrainian side's victory,
concluding that "persuading the public of our allies by television and telephone" is more important than strategy and war techniques.

Now,
here is the war situation in each region.
We will tell you where the war situation is changing.

Northeast,
Luhansk Oblast area

We will report on the war situation in the area from Halkiu and Kupyansk to the Svatove-Kreminna line and around Sibersk.

In this sector,
the Russians made 17 attacks at Shinkivka.

Svatove-Kreminna line

The Russians are attacking heavily toward Terny,
and the Ukrainians are responding.

1st.
East of Terny,
positional video footage shows that Ukrainian forces,
from the east,
damaged a Russian T80 at the location on the battle map and destroyed a Russian BMP3 infantry fighting vehicle a short distance west of it at the location on the battle map.

Conversely,
to the west,
Russian troops are shelling Ukrainian troops,
confirming that this area is the front line.

The drone video shown here is from the Ukrainian Army's Adam Operations Unit and shows the Russian convoy at the location described in the second part of the battle diagram.

The battle map has been updated to show that Russian forces have advanced to this location.

The area is about 3 square kilometers in size.

Around Sibersk
In Bilohorivka,
we reported the disputed area as the area where Ukrainian troops advanced in yesterday's video,
but multiple pieces of information have combined to show that Ukrainian troops have advanced,
so we have updated the battle map to show that Ukrainian troops have retaken part of the disputed area.

Eastern Bahmut Area

The following is a report on the situation in the Bakhmut area.

The Russians attacked 11 times in this area.

North of Bakhmut

The Russians are pushing forward,
pushing up the front from Bohdanivka to Ivanivske.
The Russians are prioritizing their offensive in this area,
sending naval academy graduates to the front earlier than planned,
and pulling a unit of the 177th Naval Infantry Regiment from Khrson to deploy south of Bakhmut,
perhaps in an attempt to take advantage of the delay in Western support.

Meanwhile,
the Ukrainian army has also sent reinforcements and has deployed new powerful flame throwers in an attempt to stabilize the situation.

1st.
Unconfirmed information indicates that the Russians are expanding their front in order to assert their superiority in number of soldiers,
and may have attacked from Dubovo Vasilivka to the north of Hryhorivka on this day,
advancing in some parts of the area.

We have updated the battle map to include that area as disputed territory.

Second.
Russian forces are advancing to capture the high ground in Chashifjar and are monitoring a large area in front of it with drones.

Russian troops attacked the west side of the O0506 line in Chashivyar with artillery and air strikes,
damaging a Ukrainian BMP infantry fighting vehicle.

The Russian side is shown here shelling the area at night.

The 217th and 331st Airborne Regiments are deployed in this area,
and they are well-equipped units,
conducting night surveillance and accurate bombardment at a distance of 5 km from the front line.

No changes have been made to the battle map.

There is no other information that would affect the battle map,
and it appears that the Russians are replenishing and reorganizing after the offensive.

Around Mayorsk

There is no change in the battle map in this area,
but there are reports of a fire of unknown origin in the Halakchaka market,
west of Horlivka.

Southeast Donetsk Oblast.

Weather in Avdiivka is light snow.
Lowest temperature -3°C,
highest 4°C
Today's weather forecast is cloudy with occasional light snow

The following is an update on the situation in the areas of Avdiivka,
Marinka,
and Vuhledar.

Avdiivka area

Russian troops made 25 attacks in this sector,
but no Russian advance was confirmed.

1st.
Ukrainian troops used drones in the Krasnohorivka area to hit Russian vehicles before they could get to the front line.

Shown here is the location on the battle map east of Krasnohorivka where a drone from the Ukrainian Army's Omega Special Forces Unit is monitoring a Russian BTR90 armored fighting vehicle.

2nd.
In Stepove,
Russian troops are attacking with vehicles and are being repelled one by one.

The image shows the 47th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Army,
and a number of Russian vehicles can be seen repulsed near the battle map.

Otherwise,
Ukrainian forces repelled the Russian assault and no other information was available to affect the battle map.

Marinka area

Russian forces in this sector launched 15 attacks,
but Ukrainian forces defended and there was no information affecting the battle map.

1st.
North of the pond on the western edge of Marinka,
the Russians conducted airstrikes and drone strikes,
hitting every building along Ivana Franka Street in the vicinity of the battle map.

Each Russian drone is very powerful,
and they are using suicide drones to bring down buildings regardless of whether Ukrainian troops are present or not.

What I am showing you is from the Russian side,
near the battle map.

It is conceivable that ground troops may advance in the future,
and we cannot let our guard down.

2nd.
The fighting in Novomihailivka continues to be fierce as it was yesterday.

The Russians are conducting air strikes on Novomihailivka,
concentrating 10 multiple rocket attacks on a four-block area east of the town,
as they did yesterday,
and are carefully preparing for a ground assault.

Meanwhile,
Ukrainian forces conducted counterattack operations south of the town,
advancing to the location shown on the battle map.

The Ukrainian side is shown advancing slowly in armored vehicles near the battlefield map,
which confirms that this location is the front line.

South,
Zaporizhia Oblast.

In this area,
there are reports of a Russian offensive in Novomayorsk,

No information was found that would affect the war situation map.

Rear Areas

A Su34 was shot down again near Odesa.
Three Su34s were shot down in this vicinity on the 22nd,
and it is possible that the Russians are caught off guard and distracted,
or that the Ukrainian military has introduced an air defense system that covers a wide area.

South,
province of Kherson.

I don't have any information that would affect the war situation map in this direction,

I will tell you two things about the war situation in Krynky.

First,
the mother of a Russian soldier assigned to this area posted on a social networking site,

She was told that her son's 1st Assault Company of the 337th Airborne Regiment was "destroyed yesterday" as a result of an assault on Ukrainian positions in Krynky without air or artillery support and with inadequate equipment.

Separately,
the Russians are trying to drive the Ukrainian troops out of the bridgehead on the left bank of the Dnipro River,
but it does not seem to be going as smoothly as they would like.

Perhaps because of this,
the 810th Naval Infantry Brigade of the Russian Black Sea Fleet dropped a K51 grenade filled with CS gas.

This was also confirmed on video,
which the Naval Infantry Brigade itself published on social networking sites,
but later deleted it.

CS gas is a type of tear gas that is banned under the Chemical Weapons Convention,
to which Russia is a signatory.

That's all for today.
Thank you for watching.
