Situation in Ukraine
It has been 771 days since Russia invaded Kyiv.
First,
general things.
According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,
the Russian losses are 670 soldiers
9 tanks
18 armored combat vehicles
29 cannons
1 multiple rocket launcher
1 air defense system
21 drones
55 other vehicles.
The entire front reported 75 ground battles in a single day.
And the ratio of the number of visually confirmed losses of Ukrainian equipment to Russian losses is 1 to 4.7,
compared to the number of losses on the Ukrainian side.
The confirmed losses on the Russian side are mostly tanks,
infantry fighting vehicles and armored fighting vehicles,
On the other hand,
the Ukrainian side is characterized by the loss of artillery.
Here is a short news report about the situation in Ukraine.
You can also use YouTube's chapter function to watch it if you want.
1.
President Zelensky revealed at a joint press conference with Finnish President Stubb that "Russia is preparing to mobilize another 300,000 people on June 1.
Russia has just this month drafted 150,000 people for its regular annual mobilization,
and the total size of the mobilization is almost equal to the 474,000 Russian soldiers in the occupied territories of Ukraine.
Mobilization is followed by training,
although it is estimated that it takes only 27 days to train a 500-man infantry battalion in Russia,
But it would take several months to train 300,000 soldiers.
In contrast,
the mobilization capacity of the Ukrainian army is estimated by the Financial Times at 3.7 million,
of which 500,000 or less will be mobilized this year.
Second.
The Russian business media Finans noted that the Russian macroeconomy is rapidly approaching the end of the Soviet Union.
By the way,
the former Soviet Union collapsed in 1990 after losing the arms race with the United States.
Experts have analyzed Putin's measures and,
applying the economic formulas of GDP,
government spending,
investment,
consumption,
exports and imports,
predict that within the next six years Russia will be in the same condition as at the end of the former Soviet Union,
with the end of the war and the collapse of industries supported by military spending,
severe material shortages and recession inevitable.
Severe shortages and recession are inevitable.
Third.
The Guardian reported that military sources,
including senior Ukrainian military officials,
said that "the Crimean bridge will be attacked a third time within months,
and Russia will be unable to prevent it."
According to the article,
while Russia is taking various measures to protect the bridge,
one senior official said,
"The sinking last month of the Sergey Kotov,
the newest ship patrolling south of the Crimean Bridge,
was a preparatory operation.
The Black Sea Fleet has now withdrawn from Crimea,
and Ukraine has several options,
including water and air drones," he said.
Now let's take a look at the war situation in each region.
We will focus on the areas where the war situation has changed.
You can follow the changes with the date on the large full-screen display.
Northeast: Luhansk Region
Eastern Bakhmut
This section covers the war situation on the Svatove-Kreminna line,
from the area around Siversk to the area of Bakhmut.
In this area the Russians attacked 10 times in Terny and 6 times in Bakhmut.
Around Sibersk
According to the video with location information,
the Russians shelled the area along the railway line between Spilne and Vesere,
and then the infantry attacked and occupied the positions.
The video shows the Russian side,
and the Ukrainian troops defending the position shown on the map are retreating quickly,
and the Russians are clearing the position after their retreat.
The battle map has been updated to show Russian forces occupying the disputed position,
which has not been moved for the past four months.
Around ChasivYar
In Ivanivske,
we reported unconfirmed information that Russian forces might have launched an attack on a factory in the south,
and after one day,
this turned out to be true.
According to the found video,
the Ukrainian military has conducted a drone strike on the factory shown on the map,
which confirms the presence of Russian troops at this location,
and furthermore,
the Russians have gone around the edge of the town and are now moving north,
trying to get to the settlement.
The image shown is from the Ukrainian side,
where we are observing Russian troops advancing on the location shown on the map.
We have updated the battle map to show the Russian occupation of the southern factory and its surroundings.
Otherwise,
the Russian attacks were repelled by the Ukrainian forces,
and there was no other information affecting the battle map.
Southeast Donetsk region.
The weather in Avdiivka was cloudy.
The minimum temperature is 7 degrees Celsius and the maximum is 16 degrees Celsius.
The weather forecast for today is cloudy and sometimes sunny.
Below is an update on the situation in Avdiivka,
Marinka and Vuhledar.
Avdiivka
Russian troops made 14 attacks in this area.
1.
In Berdych,
the Russians dropped thermobaric bombs north of the town to block the movement of Ukrainian troops,
and then attacked from the northern road.
What I am showing you is the Ukrainian side,
and it shows the Russian soldiers advancing at the location shown on the map.
We have updated the battle map to show this area as occupied by Russian troops from the disputed territory.
Second.
For the area around Orlivka and Tonenke,
where Russian forces have been repelled by the largest force in recent days,
there is no information about Russian attacks today,
and the battle map remains unchanged.
However,
the Russian 6th Tank Regiment continues to operate in Tonenke despite heavy losses.
In response,
Ukrainian forces are conducting drone strikes on Orlivka and Tonenke to reduce the strength of the Russian forces.
Third.
In Pervomaiske,
there is unconfirmed information that Russian troops have advanced about 600 meters north of the pond,
and we have updated the battle map to include this area as an extension of the disputed territory.
We will update the battle map again when we receive confirmation.
Marinka Area
In this area the Russians made 24 attacks,
mainly on Novomihailivka.
1.
According to some imagery with positional information,
the Russians have probably advanced about 6 blocks in the urban area from the position of the Ukrainian shelling,
and we have updated the battle map from the disputed area to the Russian-occupied area.
What we are showing you is the Ukrainian side,
with the urban area on the map.
There is no longer a shadow of a city,
but a place where the ground is devastated.
Second.
In addition,
as for the place where we reported in the April 1st video that the Russians had attacked in the southern suburbs of the city to the west,
the subsequent video shows that the Russians have dug trenches and established a base,
and the Ukrainian army is attacking the Russian troops in the trenches with a drone,
so we have assumed that the Russians have occupied this area as well and have updated the battle map to show the Russian troops in this area.
Updated.
Other than that,
the location is unknown,
but somewhere in the direction of Avdiivka,
there is a video of Ukrainian and Russian soldiers fighting in close combat and Russian troops being repulsed,
and a Russian soldier advancing with his pants down and being repulsed by a Ukrainian drone,
but the important part is for children under 14 years old They are all too exciting to show you,
so I have posted them on the Telegram channel in the Overview section.
The backward region
Petro Andrushchenko,
advisor to the mayor of Mariupol,
tells us that cholera,
confirmed in January,
is spreading rapidly in occupied Mariupol due to the recent warming of the weather and poor sanitary conditions.
Cholera is spreading especially in primary schools,
but because the Russian occupation authorities do not publicize the spread of the disease,
many citizens are unaware of the outbreak,
which is unstoppable due to the consumption of contaminated water and food.
Occupied hospitals are overflowing with wounded Russian soldiers,
preventing those infected from receiving proper medical care.
South,
Zaporizhia Province
South,
Kherson Province.
In this sector the Russians attacked Stalomaiorsk and Robotyne four times and Krinky eight times,
but the Ukrainian army repulsed all of them and the Russians made no progress.
Others.
As we reported recently,
Ukrainian drones attacked a Russian oil refinery,
resulting in the loss of 15% of Russia's oil refining capacity,
and gas stations in Rostovnadnou are selling out of gasoline.
A number of posts on social networking sites say that although the stores are open and employees are present,
there is no gasoline in stock and no word on when it will arrive...
That's all for today.
Thanks for watching.
