The situation in Ukraine
It has been 904 days since Russia invaded Kyiv.
First of all,
let's look at the general situation.
According to the latest announcement from the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,
the Russian military losses are as follows: 1,220 soldiers
8 tanks
24 armored fighting vehicles
47 artillery guns
3 multiple rocket launchers
1 air defense system
50 drones
2 cruise missiles
65 other vehicles
There were 134 reports of ground battles in a single day across the entire front line.
And the ratio of the number of losses of Ukrainian military equipment that can be visually confirmed to the number of losses of Russian military equipment is 1 to 2.1,
meaning that the number of losses on the Russian side is 2.1 times that of the Ukrainian side.
The Russian side's losses were overwhelmingly heavy in terms of infantry fighting vehicles,
and communications facilities and military trucks were conspicuous.
On the other hand,
the Ukrainian side's losses were conspicuous in terms of pickups and armored fighting vehicles.
Now,
let's take a look at the situation in each region.
We will focus on areas where the situation is changing.
You can follow these changes along with the dates by displaying them in full screen mode on the large screen...
Northeast: Kursk and Kharkiv
It has been 9 days since the Ukrainian army invaded Kursk...
Kursk
The weather in Kursk,
which affects the operation,
is fine
with a minimum temperature of 13 degrees and a maximum temperature of 24 degrees
The weather forecast for today is fine.
The weather will continue to be fine and cloudy for a while...
Although there has been no more lightning-fast advances by the Ukrainian army in this area,
the Russian army has been pushed back overall,
and the Ukrainian army is advancing.
In addition,
the Ukrainian army reported that a Russian Su-34 fighter bomber on a combat mission in the Kursk region was shot down by Ukrainian air defense forces.
In addition,
a video uploaded to social networking sites by a resident of Kursk shows that gRussians in Kursk are one after another taking the side of Ukraine,
fed up with the Russian government,
which doesn't care about the people except for those in Moscow and St. Petersburgh.
Korenevo area
The Ukrainian army is attacking Snagost and Korenevo.
1st
As we reported in yesterday's video as unconfirmed information,
we have received video footage with location information from Vinesapnoe,
showing that the Ukrainian army has occupied the village,
raising a flag indicating their occupation.
The video you are watching is from the Ukrainian side,
and shows them throwing away the Russian flag at the location shown on the map.
The battle map has been updated to show the entire settlement of Vinezapnoe as occupied territory.
Second
To the north of this,
Krasnoochabliskoye,
several Russian sources claim that the Ukrainian army is approaching the suburbs,
so we have updated the battle map to show that the Ukrainian army has occupied the area in front of the village.
The area is about 3 square kilometers.
Third
There is information that the Ukrainian army has bypassed Korenevo,
crossed the railway line and entered the northwest area of Trubinsky,
where they are engaged in ground combat with the Russian army.
Some of this information indicates that the Ukrainian army is in control of the area.
I have marked this area on the battle map...
Malaya Luchnitsa area
In this area,
Ukrainian military reconnaissance or advance units are operating over a wide area,
confusing the Russian military.
1
The Ukrainian army has advanced to Safonovka,
28 kilometers from the border,
and there are reports that two Ukrainian mine-clearing armored vehicles have been spotted.
The area has been updated on the battle map as an expansion of the disputed territory.
Second
According to a Russian military blogger,
a Ukrainian military advance guard is reported to be in the city of Rigov,
which is the second largest city in Kursk,
and there is information that the Ukrainian military has reached a point about 50 kilometers from the front line.
In addition,
in the town of Levshinka,
which is 10 kilometers south of Rigov,
satellite information monitoring forest fires has reported that there is a fire,
and it is possible that there has been ground fighting in this location.
The fire information continued sporadically as far as Krasnaya Nov,
just before Lgov,
and the battle map was updated as the disputed area expanded along the Suzdal-Lgov road to this area...
Suha area
It appears that the Ukrainian military are steadily advancing in this area.
Ukrainian media have already entered the town of Suha and are distributing humanitarian supplies to the local residents,
and as we reported in a previous video,
Ukrainian soldiers have been stopping at gas stations and restaurants,
where they are leaving reviews in Ukrainian.
First
In yesterday's video,
we reported that the Ukrainian army had captured the town of Myrnyi to the east of Suja,
but since then the Ukrainian army has continued to advance,
and according to information from a Russian military blogger,
it appears that the Ukrainian army has captured the town of Mikhailovka.
We have updated the battle map to show the area that the Ukrainian army has captured from the disputed territory.
The area is about 4 square kilometers.
Second
Martynovka,
which is further ahead,
is a gathering point for the Chechen Ahmat forces and the Russian army,
and it appears that there is ground fighting with the Ukrainian army.
There are no changes to the battle map.
Prefobo area
In this area,
the Ukrainian army is advancing,
attacking the Belgorod border on two axes,
north and south.
A little to the north of this axis,
the Psel River,
shown in light blue,
is flowing,
preventing the Russian army from advancing.
First
According to the video with location information,
the Ukrainian army is advancing towards Ulanok,
north of the Psel River,
and is carrying out a mopping-up operation,
pushing back the Russian army and advancing.
What you are looking at is POV footage shot by the Ukrainian side,
and shows the situation at the location indicated on the map.
This location is an area where the Russian army is deployed,
but we have updated the battle map to show that it has been occupied by the Ukrainian army.
Second
On the route of the Ukrainian army's advance to the south,
the Ukrainian army advanced 5km east from Sparnoje and occupied the area.
You can see the Ukrainian army's activities in the Russian drone footage.
We have updated the battle map assuming that the Ukrainian army has advanced to Kamyshnoe.
Third
In the area to the east of Gily,
we reported yesterday that there was a possibility that several Ukrainian BTR armored fighting vehicles had been destroyed or captured in the video,
but it seems that this is the front line,
possibly due to propaganda by the Afhamat forces.
There is currently unconfirmed information that the Ukrainian forces are advancing with superiority in the ground battle in this area.
For now,
there are no changes to the battle map.
There is no information at all about the attack axis to the south,
but we will let you know if we find out anything.
That's all we have on the situation in Kursk,
but as an extra,
you can see that the Russian army is taking out important assets in Kursk and evacuating them.
Harkiv area
In this area,
the Russian army launched 13 attacks and made some progress...
Hlyboke area
According to the video with location information,
there is information that the Russian army has advanced into the forest of the Travyanske Reservoir to the west of Hlyboke.
This area had been recaptured by the Ukrainian army,
but the battle map has been updated to show it as a disputed area again.
Other than that,
the Ukrainian army has repelled the Russian army's attacks,
and there have been no changes to the battle map.
Northeast: Luhansk Oblast
East: ChasivYar
We will report on the situation in the ChasivYar area from Kupyansk.
In this area,
the Russian army launched 4 attacks in the Kupyansk area,
11 attacks on the Svatove-Kreminna line,
5 attacks in the area around Sibirsk,
6 attacks in the area around ChasivYar,
and 19 attacks in the direction of Tretyak...
Towards Tretyak
In New York,
unconfirmed information suggests that the Russian army advanced on both the east and west sides of the protrusion,
and that they occupied the New York station on the east side and the entire residential area on the west side. If we can confirm this information,
we will update the battle map again.
In other areas,
the Russian army launched repeated attacks,
but they were repelled by the Ukrainian army,
and there were no changes to the battle map...
South-East Donetsk Oblast
We will now report on the situation in the Pokrovsk,
Kravkov and Belymivka areas.
In this area,
the Russian army launched 54 attacks in the Pokrovsk area,
5 in the Kravkov area and 6 in the Belymivka area...
Pokrovsk area
1st
In the area around Lisichne,
where we reported yesterday that the Russian army may have advanced,
multiple sources are reporting that the Russian army has advanced,
so we have updated the battle map to show that the Russian army has occupied the disputed area,
and have changed the color of Lisichne,
Sviridnyukha,
and Ivanivka to red to indicate that they have been occupied by the Russian army.
The Ukrainian army is planning to retreat from this area and defend the north side of the pond.
The area is about 15 square kilometers.
Second
According to multiple sources,
the heavily contested area of Zelenne was almost entirely occupied by the Russian army,
and the Ukrainian army retreated to the rear area of Novozelenne.
We have updated the battle map to show the area occupied by the Russian army.
The area is about 2 square kilometers.
Elsewhere,
the Russian army's attacks did not lead to any progress,
and there were no changes to the battle map...
Rear Area
In yesterday's video,
we reported that there had been an explosion in Voronezh,
but the details have now become clear.
It appears that the Ukrainian military carried out a series of drone attacks on multiple Russian air bases,
the largest in history,
causing damage to multiple airfields and damaging multiple aircraft.
President Zelensky issued a statement to the effect that attacks had been carried out on Russian air force bases in Kursk,
Voronezh,
Borisoglebsk and Nizhny Novgorod.
This is a view of the Savasleika Air Base in Nizhny Novgorod,
and it can be confirmed that at least one Russian MiG-31K supersonic interceptor was damaged.
It is thought that information on the damage will be released in the future,
such as in satellite photos.
Southern Zaporizhzhya Oblast
Southern province of Kherson
The Russian army launched 11 attacks in this area,
but the Ukrainian army repelled them all,
and there was no information that affected the battle map...
That's all for today.
Please feel free to share your thoughts on the analysis of the battle situation,
news,
and the latest information in the comments section.
Thank you for watching.
