Situation in Ukraine
It has been 871 days since Russia invaded Kyiv.
First of all,
general matters.
According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,
the Russian losses were 1120 soldiers
8 tanks
24 armored fighting vehicles
58 guns
1 air defense system
34 drones
65 other vehicles.
The entire front reported 120 ground battles in one day.
And the ratio of the number of losses of Ukrainian equipment to Russian losses,
which can be visually confirmed,
is 1 to 1.7,
compared to the number of losses on the Ukrainian side.
Losses on the Russian side are dominated by motorcycles,
tanks,
and golf carts,
while pickups and tanks stand out on the Ukrainian side.
Now,
here is the war situation in each region.
We will focus on the areas where the war situation is changing.
The changes can be followed along with the date if you use the full screen view on the big screen.
Northeast,
Harkiv area
This section reports on the situation in the Halkiu area,
where the Russian military invaded across the border in May.
Russian troops in this area,
supported by air support,
made six attacks on Hlyboke and Vovtyansk,
but there is no information on any change in the battle map.
There was also no new information on the Ukrainian counterattack in Hlyboke.
One focus in Vovtyansk is whether Russian forces are advancing south across the Bovtyansk River.
There is no information available to confirm this date and it is unknown at this time.
Northeast: toward Luhansk Oblast
Eastern part,
toward ChasivYar
The following is an update on the war situation in the area from Kupyansk to ChasivYar.
In this area,
the Russians attacked 7 times in the direction of Kupyansk,
1 time along the Svatove-Kreminna line,
8 times around Sivelsk,
5 times around ChasivYar,
and 18 times in the direction of Toretsk.
Kupyansk direction
According to video footage with location information,
the Russians attacked and advanced from Berestove,
northwest of Svatovye,
to Pishchane.
This allowed the Russians to reach the southeastern outskirts of Pishchane.
What you are seeing is the Russian side,
with Russian troops shelling the settlement of Pishchane.
The video shows that the shelling is quite accurate and the distance is close.
The battle map has been updated to show the area as occupied by Russian forces from Ukrainian-controlled and disputed territory.
The area is about 2 square kilometers.
Another unconfirmed report indicates that Russian troops are also moving southward through the suburbs from Tabayivka toward Pishchane,
so it is possible that the area occupied by Russian troops will increase in the future.
Meanwhile,
Russian forces have also attacked the settlement of Berestove,
but this attack was repulsed by Ukrainian forces and the Russian forces had no success.
Around Siversk
In this area,
the Russians attacked Bilohorivka,
Verkhonokamyanske,
Vimka,
and Rozdrivka,
but all were repulsed by Ukrainian forces and the Russians were unable to advance.
ChasivYar Area
According to Ukrainian military spokesman Voloshin,
the Russians reported that they were moving the bulk of their forces from this area to Toretsk,
and offensive pressure in this area has somewhat decreased.
However,
the offensive itself did not cease,
and the Russians launched a motorcycle assault from Bakhmut along Route O0506.
The Ukrainians intercepted the assault as they entered the town of Kanal,
a cemetery three kilometers before Kanal,
and dismounted from their motorcycles.
The image shown is the Ukrainian side,
with the Russians advancing on three motorcycles and two motorcycles arriving in Kanal after one was repulsed.
The battle map remains unchanged.
Toretsk sector
The Russians have deployed the main elements of the 27th Motorized Rifle Brigade,
which had been preserved as a reserve selection force,
indicating the increased importance of this sector.
The Russians attacked Druzhba,
the high-rise apartment district of Artemove,
and Niuyoke,
but these attacks were repulsed by the Ukrainian army,
with no success for the Russians.
Meanwhile,
Ukrainian forces counterattacked and advanced in the Artemove area.
According to the video with location data,
the Russians are shelling a high-rise apartment building on Tsurchenyva Street,
which confirms the presence of Ukrainian troops in this area.
What you are seeing is the Russian side of the apartment building.
We have updated the battle map to include the area up to this street,
assuming that Ukrainian troops have recaptured it from the disputed territory.
Southeast Donetsk Oblast.
The following is an update on the war situation in the areas of Avdiivka,
Marinka,
and Velikanovosilka.
The weather in Avdiivka,
which affects the operation,
is sunny.
minimum temperature of 20 degrees Celsius,
maximum temperature of 34 degrees Celsius.
Today's weather is also predicted to be hazy.
Avdiivka area
In this area,
the Russians made 41 attacks in all directions,
mainly on Novo Oleksandrivka and Novoselivka Persia.
In this area,
the Russians concentrated their forces on Novoselivka Persia,
the last remaining area in this vicinity,
and according to the positional video,
they made a partial advance.
According to the positional video,
the Russians launched a new attack north of Novoselivska Persia from a northeasterly direction,
bypassing a Ukrainian military ring,
and took over a farm.
The Ukrainian military drone was found to be attacking Russian soldiers at this location.
What you are seeing is the Ukrainian military's war report,
where they are observing the Russian troops in the location on the map.
We have updated the battle map to show that area as occupied by Russian forces from the disputed area.
Otherwise,
14 ground battles are ongoing,
but no Russian advance was observed and no changes were made to the battle map.
Marinka sector
In this sector,
the Russians attacked in the direction of Krasnohorivka,
Heolyivka,
Kostiantyniukha,
and Vodzhane,
but the Russian attacks were repulsed by the Ukrainian army and no Russian advance was made.
Verkhanovosyrka sector
In this direction,
the Russians launched an offensive against Urozhane,
first shelling it with about 20 shots.
The Russian side is shown on the map.
After that,
the Russians advanced in columns and succeeded in advancing about two blocks as a result of the ground battle.
They raised a flag on the building shown on the map,
which was supposed to be a school,
and claimed the occupation.
The battle map was updated to show the area as occupied by the Russians from the disputed area.
Rear Area
1st.
A Sukhoi Superjet airliner crashed in Moscow during a post-repair test flight,
killing all three crew members on board.
The plane belonged to Gazpromapiya Airlines,
an affiliate of Gazprom,
and was on its way from the Lukhovtsi plant to Vnukovo airport.
In Russia,
aircraft parts are not available due to Western sanctions,
and these days there are almost daily emergency landings due to some kind of malfunction.
Incidentally,
this is the second fatal accident involving a passenger aircraft in the last month,
as far as the submitter remembers.
Second.
There was also a report of an explosion at an airfield in Mariupol,
and in the video you can see smoke rising high from the ground.
There are reports that the Ukrainian military then carried out an attack,
possibly targeting the S300 air defense system.
Other details are unknown,
but there are reports of an oil tank on fire in Rostov.
South,
Zaporizhia Province.
South,
province of Kherson.
In this area,
Russian forces have made one attack in Fryapol and two in Malatkumatica,
and two attacks have been reported along the Dnipro River,
but no information has changed the battle map in either case.
This is a brief report with selected news about the situation in Ukraine.

1st.
The European Parliament has voted to ask the Council of the European Union to remove Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban from the presidency of the Council of the European Union,
claiming that he has been acting against the interests of the EU.
Once he assumed the presidency of the EU in July,
PM Orban held a series of meetings with President Zelensky,
President Putin,
and President Xi Jinping,
and on July 11,
he met with former President Trump.
The head of the EU faction said that "PM Orban's false peacekeeping mission is a threat to the security of the EU.
However,
there is no explicit provision for stripping the EU presidency,
and this will be discussed in the future.
Second.
According to an analysis by the British MoD,
Russia reported record losses of soldiers in the war in Ukraine over the past two months.
The analysis attributes this to active fighting in Harkiv,
as the country has been on the offensive in Harkiv while maintaining offensive operations on other fronts.
Intelligence agencies state that Russia is trying to overrun Ukraine with soldiers and will likely continue to lose 1,000 per day for the next two months.
Third.
According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Economy,
Ukraine's GDP grew by about 4.1% in the first half of this year compared to the same period last year.
In June,
on the other hand,
it grew by only 1.1% year-on-year,
and the power outage slowed economic growth,
according to the report.
The major difference between Russia and Ukraine is that Russia is experiencing difficulties in importing and exporting due to sanctions and the availability of foreign financial support.
According to Ukrainian Economy Minister Spyritenko,
Ukraine's economic growth is expected to be 3.5% this year.
That's all for today.
