Situation in Ukraine
It has been 822 days since Russia invaded Kyiv.
First,
a general matter.
According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,
Russian losses were 1,140 soldiers
15 tanks
11 armored fighting vehicles
27 guns
2 multiple rocket launchers
1 air defense system
4 drones
42 other vehicles.
The entire front reported 88 ground battles in one day.
Russian forces are beginning to reach the point where the first units are worn out and it is time to replace units,
but they still continue to lose a high of over 1,200 soldiers daily,
bringing the cumulative loss total to 500,000.
And the ratio of the number of losses of Ukrainian equipment to Russian troops,
which can be visually confirmed,
is 1 to 1.8,
compared to the number of losses on the Ukrainian side.
Losses on the Russian side are mostly infantry fighting vehicles,
artillery,
and tanks; conversely,
on the Ukrainian side,
boats and Starlink antennas stand out.
Now,
here is the war situation in each region.
We will focus on the areas where the war situation has changed.
You can follow the changes with the date if you use the full screen view on the big screen.
Northeast,
toward Harkiv
It has been 14 days since the Russians invaded along the border in Harkiv.
The weather in Harkiv is sunny.
Minimum temperature 10 degrees Celsius,
maximum temperature 24 degrees Celsius.
The weather forecast for today also calls for sunshine.
The Russians have carried out four attacks in this sector.
Russian forces use 250 Lancet suicide drones,
30 FAB 500 glide bombs,
and ODAB 1500 bombs daily in this area. Russian military intelligence analyzes that the Russian army has 35,000 troops in this direction.
Liptsi Area
In this sector,
Russian forces have been unable to advance despite their attacks,
and there is no change in the battle map.
On the other hand,
there are some reports that Ukrainian forces are making a small counterattack,
and there are reports that Kraken Special Forces have destroyed a detachment of the 2nd Special Forces Brigade of the Russian Army,
although the location is unknown.
Bovtyansk area
The Russians are stuck in the city of Bovtyansk and are trying to break through on the outskirts of the city.
To this end,
the Russians are attempting to cross the Donets River,
deploying their naval bridges to the east and west of Bovtyansk and launching an attack.
There is no information on any change in the battle map in downtown Bovtyansk on this day,
and according to the video with location information,
south of Tyche,
special forces of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are destroying bridges on the Bovtyansk River,
suggesting that Russian forces may be closing in on this area.
What you are seeing is from the Ukrainian side of the river,
and the location is shown on the map.
Based on multiple sources,
we have updated the battle map to show a Russian advance in the forests north of Tyche.
The area is about 2 square kilometers.
Northeast: Toward Luhansk Oblast
Eastern part,
in the direction of ChasivYar
The following is an update on the war situation in the Kupyansk to ChasivYar sector.
In this sector,
Russian troops have been engaged in 20 battles in the Kupyansk sector,
mainly in Berestove and Makiiukha,
5 battles on the Svatove-Kreminna line,
1 battle in Bilohorivka,
and a series of ground battles in Andrivka.
Kupyansk area.
In Berestove,
where we reported in our video on March 20 that Russian troops had closed the gap to within a stone's throw of the settlement,
Russian troops launched an attack on the settlement.
According to the video with location information,
Russian tanks can be seen burning to the west of the settlement,
indicating that a ground battle took place in this area.
The Ukrainian forces moved back from the settlement and returned fire with drones and artillery in the rear,
and the Russian attack was repulsed with heavy losses.
What you are seeing is the Ukrainian side and the location shown on the map.
There are many Russian soldiers who do not seem to be able to come to terms with the situation,
so we have corrected that.
Social networking sites close to Russia already claim that Berestove was occupied as soon as the Russian soldiers set foot on it,
but in reality it seems to be an uninhabited area,
monitored by Ukrainian troops and eliminated by artillery fire and drones as necessary.
Thus,
there is no change in the battle map.
2nd.
In Makijka,
positional video footage shows Ukrainian troops attacking a Russian trench and an ammunition depot on fire,
confirming that Russian troops have advanced to this location.
This location,
which the Ukrainians had cleared of Russian troops on January 23,
was again captured by the Russians,
and the battle map was updated to reflect this.
Otherwise,
the Russian attack was repulsed by Ukrainian forces and the battle map remained unchanged.
In the direction of ChasivYar
In ChasivYar,
Russian forces have launched attacks but have not been able to advance.
Meanwhile,
according to Frontelligence Insight,
Russian forces have identified weaknesses in the Ukrainian military defenses in Canal,
but assess that their attacks have not been successful.
1st.
According to the video with location information,
the Russians launched an attack in a convoy column towards Canal,
but were repulsed one after another by Ukrainian artillery fire and withdrew with the loss of 10 vehicles.
The image you are seeing is the eastern side of the Canal.
2nd.
Klishchiivka and Andrivka,
Russian troops are attacking Ukrainian positions with multiple rockets in an attempt to advance further,
confirming that the locations indicated on the map are under Ukrainian military control.
The Russian MoD also announced the capture of Andrivka,
but Russian military bloggers complained that they could not consolidate their positions.
In the end,
there was no information around ChasivYar that could affect the battle map.
Southeast Donetsk Oblast.
The following is an update on the war situation in the areas of Avdiivka,
Marinka,
and Vuhledar.
Avdiivka
The Russians attacked 22 times in the area of Avdiivka.
1st.
Just north of Ocheretiyne,
a video with location information shows Russian troops assaulting Ukrainian positions and the capture of three Ukrainian soldiers.
The battle map was updated to show the Russian forces occupying this location.
2nd.
The Russians also claimed occupation of the area south of Umanske by placing flags on buildings.
The battle map has been updated to show Russian forces occupying a portion of the area from Ukrainian-controlled and disputed territory.
3rd.
Further north of Netaylove,
there is video footage of Ukrainian troops using a drone to clear Russian military vehicles,
confirming that this area is the Russian military front line.
The image you are seeing is from the Ukrainian side,
where a Russian BMP infantry fighting vehicle is being observed near the location shown on the map.
The battle map has been updated to show the area behind this location as Russian occupied territory instead of disputed territory.
The area will be about 1 square kilometer.
Otherwise,
the Russian attack was repulsed by Ukrainian forces and the battle map remains unchanged.
For Marinka
In the direction of Vuhledar
West of Novomihailivka,
Russian vehicles made an assault and were able to advance without being hit by bullets to the locations shown on the map.
The following is a shot of the infantry deploying as they approached the mapped area and approached the border forest where the Ukrainian positions were located.
The outcome of this ground battle is unknown,
and we have updated the battle map to show this location as an extension of the disputed territory.
Rear Area
In February,
a TU160 supersonic bomber with President Putin on board caught fire in one of its engines while preparing for takeoff,
which spread to four engines,
and the same aircraft carrying the same engine was taken out of flight,
according to the article.
The fire occurred on March 11,
and records show that President Putin boarded this plane on February 22,
and the article states that he was almost caught in the fire.
Southern Zaporizhia
Southern Province of Kherson
In this sector,
the Russians made nine attacks on Stalomaiorsk and Krinky,
but there was no information that would affect the battle map.
This is a brief report with selected news about the situation in Ukraine.
You can also use YouTube's chapter feature to watch where you need to.
1st.
Commenting on a Reuters exclusive report that "President Putin is ready to accept a freeze on war in Ukraine," Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kreva said that the report was "part of efforts to obstruct at all costs the peace summit that will take place in Switzerland in June."
Kreva said that "President Putin has no intention of stopping the invasion," and analysts warned that "after a short rest he will invade again."
Second.
Crimean partisan organization Ates reported that Russia is withdrawing from Jankoy Airfield.
The Jankoy airfield is a military airfield in central Crimea that appears to have been damaged by repeated Ukrainian military attacks,
and Russian forces have begun evacuating equipment and personnel to other airfields.
The Russian military has begun evacuating equipment and personnel to other airfields. The airfield will be repaired and modernized,
but this will be technically difficult,
costly,
and time-consuming.
3rd.
group of Ukrainian pilots who were training at a military base in Arizona have completed their training.
The pilots trained at the 162nd Air Force Base,
and while the number of pilots and completion date were not disclosed,
the pilots are headed to Europe for additional training.
The Ukrainian Air Force noted that even with just two F-16s,
the Ukrainian military could be significantly strengthened.
4th.
As we reported in yesterday's video about the arrest of the Undersecretary of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces,
the Moscow Times reported that President Putin has given the go-ahead to the FSB,
the Russian Federal Security Service,
for a major purge of the MoD.
A number of FSB officials are currently in Russia's MoD and are under investigation,
according to the report.
The purge will take place at both the Russian MoD and the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces,
and the number of people to be arrested is expected to be in the hundreds,
making it the largest purge in history,
according to the report.
If organizations that had previously been run on bribes suddenly find themselves unable to accept bribes due to the purges,
no one will act and the organizations will become dysfunctional,
which,
according to military expert Nesmyan,
will lead to a reduction in the offensive in the war in Ukraine.
Fifth.
In yesterday's video we reported on an explosion in Krasnodar,
and now we have more details on the damage.
According to Russian media,
the Voronezh DM long-range radar system in Krasnodar was damaged.
The radar is said to have a detection range of 6,000 kilometers and can track up to 500 ballistic and cruise missiles as well as orbiting satellites within a 120-degree range.
Each radar costs about 1.5 billion rubles,
but installation is expected to take several years and repairs will be difficult.
That's all for today.

and any updates you may have in the comments section.
