Situation in Ukraine
It has been 830 days since Russia invaded Kyiv.
First,
a general matter.
According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,
Russian losses were 1080 soldiers
25 tanks
33 armored fighting vehicles
49 guns
1 multi-role rocket
6 air defense systems
82 drones
38 cruise missiles
100 other vehicles.
The entire front reported 81 ground strikes in one day.
Now,
here is the war situation in each region.
We will focus on the areas where the war situation has changed.
You can follow the changes with the date if you use the full screen view on the big screen.
Northeast,
toward Harkiv
It has been 21 days since the Russians invaded along the border in Harkiv.
The weather in Harkiv is sunny.
The minimum temperature is 17 degrees Celsius and the maximum is 29 degrees Celsius.
The weather forecast for today also calls for sunshine.
The Russian army has conducted two attacks in this area.
The Russian invasion of Harkiv came to a standstill,
and losses in May were the greatest in the last two years of war.
A man named Phillips published an analysis of what the Harkiv invasion had done to Russia. The Russian army was stalled,
and losses of men and equipment were enormous. 2.
(2) The Russian forces did not occupy the strategically important Donbass and ChasivYar,
but rather,
the forces that should have been deployed in ChasivYar and Donbass were deployed in the gKhalkhiu Meat Grinder.
3. The U.S. and other Western powers authorized attacks on Russian territory.
4. Belgorod was exposed to much greater danger than before.
5. The invasion of Soumy and Chernihiu provinces became much more difficult.
and so it became a confirmed strategic failure for Russia.
Liptsi sector
In this sector,
Russian forces launched attacks at Hlyboke and Lukyantsi,
but were repulsed by Ukrainian forces.
Russian military bloggers report that Russian troops are at a standstill as drones and artillery fire have prevented them from advancing.
Vovtyansk direction.
Russian troops are attacking Staricha and Vovtyansk in this sector,
but Russian troops are unable to advance.
In an interview with RBC Ukraine,
Ukrainian military operations commander Voloshin said that the Russians have not stopped advancing with a small assault force,
but that the Ukrainian army controls 70% of Vovtyansk.
None of this has changed the battle map.
Northeast: Toward Luhansk Oblast
Eastern part,
in the direction of ChasivYar
The following is a report on the war situation in the Kupyansk to ChasivYar sector.
The Russians attacked 12 times in Kupyansk,
4 times along the Svatove-Kreminna line,
8 times around Sivelsk,
and 7 times around ChasivYar.
Kupyansk sector
In this sector,
the Russians attacked the Ukrainian army looking for weak points in its defensive line.
1st.
In the suburb of Novoselivske,
northwest of Svatobe,
Russian troops may have made a breakthrough and advanced with tanks.
According to the positional video,
Russian tanks advanced to the location indicated on the map,
and either exploited a weakness in the Ukrainian Army's defenses or made a surprise attack.
Ukrainian forces also responded with drones,
attacking Russian positions near the location shown on the map to the east,
destroying vehicles,
but Russian tanks are slowly advancing and are still fighting.
This location was the scene of a partial Ukrainian counterattack in May,
but we have updated the battle map to the disputed area.
Second.
The Russians are also attacking south of Stelmahyuka,
Miasojarivka,
and Andrivka,
but the Ukrainians have repulsed them and there is no change to the battle map.
ChasivYar area
Russian forces have been trying to capture the tactically important ChasivYar since around February,
but have made slow progress with military support from the West already on the way.
The Russians are currently on the offensive to capture Kalinivka,
Kanal,
and Ivanivske on the eastern edge.
1st.
In Kalinivka,
location-based video shows Russian MTLB armored fighting vehicles making a large advance across the canal to the location on the map,
where infantry deployed from inside,
only to be met by Ukrainian drone fire,
and although the video ends midway through,
the unit was likely repulsed.
In the video,
which appears to be from the Ukrainian side,
Russian BTR armored fighting vehicles can be seen advancing again along the forest after dismounting their infantry at the location shown on the map.
It is possible that the Ukrainian forces have drawn the Russians in and attacked,
or that they have already retreated from their positions in Kalinivka,
but in any case,
the battle map has been updated to show the Russian forces occupying the eastern side of Kalinivka from the disputed area.
2nd.
In a residential area northeast of Canal,
positional video shows Ukrainian troops shelling the area,
and other sources report that Ukrainian troops have retreated and Russian troops have entered the area.
This is where Ukrainian forces counterattacked and pushed back last week,
but we have updated the battle map to Russian-occupied territory.
3rd.
In Canal,
there is information that Ukrainian forces may have retreated to the west side of the canal and switched to drone surveillance,
and that two Cossack fighting vehicles were abandoned west of the town due to Russian artillery fire.
Meanwhile,
Russian troops are preparing for a raid by firing thermobaric bombs into a factory to the north.
Fourth.
On the southern outskirts of Ivanivske,
the Russians attempted to break through by assaulting the mapped area with a column of vehicles.
The Russians attacked with several vehicles,
led by a turtle tank,
and broke through the minefield. The Ukrainians responded with artillery fire and drones,
and were eventually repulsed at the location shown on the map.
What you are seeing is the Ukrainian side and the location shown on the map.
We have updated the battle map as the disputed territory has expanded to this location.
5th.
In Klishchiivka,
the Russians also claimed occupation,
first by using drones to carry flags on the northern intrusion road and attaching them to chimneys with magnets.
Just east of that,
however,
a Russian T72 tank was seen destroyed by Ukrainian troops,
and this location is believed to be virtually uninhabited.
The battle map remains unchanged.
Sixth.
In addition,
the Russians have been leafleting in the center of the settlement of Klishchiivka,
claiming the surrender of the Ukrainian forces and the occupation of this location by the Russians,
which means that the Russians are not occupying this location,
so we have updated the battle map of this location from Russian occupation to disputed territory.
Southeast Donetsk Oblast.
The following is an update on the war situation in the areas of Avdiivka,
Marinka,
and Vuhledar.
Avdiivka sector
According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,
15 of these attacks were repulsed by Ukrainian forces,
while 12 were still in progress.
1st.
The first of these attacks was on Soloviove,
where the Russians were under heavy attack pressure. According to the video with location information,
the Ukrainian troops were shelling a Ukrainian position that was supposed to be west of Soloviove,
which means that this position was likely abandoned by the Ukrainians and occupied by the Russians.
The image you are seeing is from the Ukrainian side and shows the location shown on the map.
We have updated the battle map of this location from disputed to Russian occupied.
2nd.
Just to the west,
on the outskirts of Sokir,
a Russian drone damaged what appears to be a Ukrainian army tank on the west side,
confirming that this location is the front line.
Therefore,
the scope of the disputed area has been expanded to include the outskirts of Sokir.
In contrast,
the Ukrainian military is attacking the rear positions of the Russian army with drones and artillery as part of so-called stabilization measures to reduce their strength.
3rd.
On the southeastern outskirts of Novopokrovske,
the Russians may have made an advance of about one field in several assaults based on Semenivka,
but we will review the battle map again once we confirm this.
The Russian army is not advancing in any other areas,
but the Russians are increasing their offensive pressure in this area,
and the Ukrainians seem to be falling back a bit.
Marinka area
The Russians made five attacks in this area.
According to the video with location information,
Russian troops attacked to the west of Sorodke,
as reported in yesterday's video,
and Ukrainian troops responded,
resulting in the loss of two tanks,
a BTR armored fighting vehicle,
and two BMP2 infantry fighting vehicles.
However,
this rear area is believed to have been occupied by Russian forces,
and the battle map has been updated to show the area as occupied by Russian forces from the disputed area.
Belikanovo-Boshirka sector
The Russians made three attacks in this sector,
including one in Urozhyn,
where Russian artillery destroyed a Ukrainian tank and may have advanced 200 meters,
but the battle map remains unchanged for now.
Southern Province of Zaporizhia
Southern Province of Kherson
In this direction,
the Russians attacked four times near Robotyne and four times at Krinky in Khrson,
but these attacks were repulsed by the Ukrainian forces,
leaving the battle map unchanged.

1st.
A US Air Force Global Hawk drone is making a reconnaissance flight towards Crimea,
and it is rumored that there will be a major attack on the Crimean peninsula today or tomorrow. There are rumors of a large-scale attack on the Crimean peninsula today or tomorrow.
According to the Crimean Telegram channel,
the drone's mission is to discover Russian air defense areas and to probe the Russian military's reaction to the attack,
which is expected to be a large-scale attack from Ukraine.
In addition,
Russian social networking sites at the time the submitter was writing the manuscript reported that a Neptune missile and a number of Ukrainian drones were moving in the direction of the occupied Crimean Bridge.
2nd.
The day after the US said that certain types of weapons may be used on Russian territory,
social networking sites indicate that the Ukrainian military promptly launched missiles using HIMARS.
They reported that fragments of GMLRS were found in various parts of Belgorod Oblast on Russian territory,
and that HIMARS were launched in the vicinity of Bovtyansk in Harkiv,
destroying a Pantsir S,
a short-range air defense missile of the Russian military.
This reportedly halted the Russian attack on Vovtyansk and silenced the Russian military.
3rd.
Russian authorities have identified gWay Home,h which calls for the return of mobilized soldiers and an end to the war in Ukraine,
as a spy organization.
They also certified as a foreign agent Ekaterina Dunzova,
who was rejected last year after she submitted her running papers for the Russian presidential election with a pledge to end the war in Ukraine.
If certified,
she will no longer be able to run in all Russian elections,
and her activities will be restricted due to increased scrutiny by the authorities.
4th.
According to RIA Novosti,
two commercial aircraft in Russia made emergency landings after breaking down on May 30.
One of these aircraft,
an Airbus A321,
had a tire burst on the landing gear,
and another,
an Airbus A319,
made an emergency landing due to a fuel leak.
On May 27,
an Airbus A319 suffered a sensor failure; on May 22,
a Superjet 100 suffered an autopilot failure; on the same day,
an Airbus A320 made an emergency landing due to a loss of pressure in the cockpit; on May 12,

a Boeing 777 made an emergency landing due to an instrument failure. On the 12th,

an Airbus A320 turned back due to engine trouble; and on the 6th,
an Airbus A321 turned back after issuing a distress signal due to a drop in cockpit pressure.
According to an analysis by a Russian research firm,
the rate of accidents per 100,000 flights was 10,
doubling in one year.
That's all for today.
