Situation in Ukraine
It has been 879 days since Russia invaded Kyiv.
First,
a general matter.
According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,
Russian losses were 1100 soldiers
9 tanks
46 armored fighting vehicles
44 artillery guns
1 air defense system
52 drones
77 other vehicles.
The entire front reported 101 ground battles in a single day.
And the ratio of the number of losses of Ukrainian equipment to Russian losses,
which can be visually confirmed,
is 1 to 2.8 compared to the number of losses on the Ukrainian side.
A wide range of losses on the Russian side can be seen,
including artillery,
infantry fighting vehicles,
civilian vans,
and tanks,
while on the Ukrainian side,
pickups are more prominent.
Now,
here is the war situation in each region.
We will focus on the areas where the war situation has changed.
You can follow the changes with the date if you use the full screen view on the big screen.
Northeast,
toward Harkiv
This month's report focuses on the situation in the Halkiw area,
where the Russian military invaded across the border in May.
The Russians attacked five times at Hlyboke and Vovtyansk.
Vovtyansk
In the western outskirts of Staritsa,
Russian infantry advanced and Ukrainian troops repelled them with drones,
according to the video with location data.
The image you are seeing is from the 153rd Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Army,
which is observing the Russian troops in what looks like the work area shown on the map.
We have updated the battle map as the Russians have advanced to this location.
Otherwise,
in Hlyboke and downtown Vovtyansk,
the Russian attack was repulsed by Ukrainian forces and the battle map was unchanged: 。。。。
Northeast: Toward Luhansk Oblast
Eastern part,
in the direction of ChasivYar
The following is a report on the war situation in the Kupyansk to ChasivYar sector.
In this sector,
the Russians attacked 9 times in the direction of Kupyansk,
13 times along the Svatove-Kreminna line,
4 times around Sivelsk,
3 times around ChasivYar,
and 13 times in the direction of Toretsk.
Kupyansk sector
In this sector,
Russian forces are attempting to advance by deploying their forces in search of weaknesses in the Ukrainian military defenses.
1st.
of these,
in Pishchane,
northwest of Svatobe,
Russian troops entered the settlement and raised a flag on a building on the west side of the settlement to assert their occupation.
The image you are seeing is of the Russian 1st Tank Army raising the flag in front of the statue at the location indicated on the map.
We have updated the battle map to show the area as partially occupied by Russian forces from disputed territory and Ukrainian-controlled territory.
Pishchane is not considered to be of much strategic importance,
but it is located on the border of Kharkiv-Luhansk oblast and is considered to be poorly defended. The Russians occupied Krovmalne in January of this year,
launched an attack in the direction of Berestove in May,
and then turned to the northwest,
creating a salient to Pishchane. The Russian army has been in the area since the beginning of the year.
2nd.
The Russians also launched an attack on Andrivka,
about 15 kilometers to the south,
which was repulsed.
The Ukrainian military is using drones to attack the locations shown on the map,
blocking the Russian advance.
The image you see is from the Ukrainian side,
observing three Russian golf carts at the location shown on the map.
The Russians,
on the other hand,
have claimed occupation of the settlement of Dzelerne to the east by raising a flag.
Although this is occupied by Russian forces,
it appears that they filmed a video of Andryvka claiming occupation in Dzerelne and attempted to launch an information war by publicizing this video at the time of the Andryvka attack.
In the video,
there is even a soldier acting as if he is handling a flag with caution,
and some social networking sites close to the Russian side are reporting that the Russian army has occupied Andryvka based on this video.
3rd.
In Nadia,
8 km south of the village,
Ukrainian forces counterattacked in the opposite direction toward Serhiyivka,
and according to the video with location information,
Ukrainian forces took Russian positions and advanced along the forest boundary to the front of the settlement.
It appears that this was a poorly defended area for the Russians,
and the Russians rushed their drones to counterattack on the positions taken by the Ukrainians,
but it appears that this was not very effective.
What you are seeing is the Russian side observing the location shown on the map.
This is where the Ukrainians counterattacked in March,
and we have updated the battle map to show that the Ukrainians have recaptured some of the disputed and Russian-occupied territory.
Sibersk and vicinity.
In this direction,
Russian troops attacked Bilohorivka,
Belkhonokamyanske,
Vimka,
and Rozdrivka.
According to video footage and multiple intelligence reports,
Ukrainian forces withdrew from Rozdrivka and the settlement was occupied by Russian forces.
The Russians continued their attack in the direction of Pereizhne,
with a drone following the Ukrainian troops as they retreated north of the Sukhaporotova River,
which flows north of the settlement.
You are looking at the 137th and 51st Airborne units of the Russian Army,
observing the Ukrainian troops at the location shown on the map.
The Russians began closing the gap in Rozdrivka in June and occupied it in about a month.
The battle map shows the entire settlement occupied by the Russians,
and Rozdrivka has been changed to a red marker.
The area is about 3.5 square kilometers.
Otherwise,
in the direction of ChasivYar and Toretsk,
the Russian attack was repulsed by the Ukrainian army and no advance was made by the Russians. 。。。。
Southeast Donetsk Oblast.
The following is an update on the war situation in the direction of Avdiivka,
Marinka and Velikanovosilka.
The weather in Avdiivka,
which affects the operation,
is cloudy.
The minimum temperature is 20 degrees Celsius and the maximum is 32 degrees Celsius.
The forecast for today's weather is for showers.
Avdiivka area
In this sector,
the Russians made 28 attacks in various directions.
1st.
According to the information we have,
in Novo Oleksandrivka the Russians attacked to the north,
northwest,
and southeast,
advancing in all directions.
First,
in the north,
the Ukrainian army retreated to reestablish a new mapped perimeter forest,
and the Russians updated their battle map to show that they had advanced two fields to the rear of the Ukrainian army.
Also in the northwestern direction,
the Ukrainian forces are advancing in the direction of Vozdovzhenka,
and the Ukrainians are using drones and artillery fire to prevent the projectile from widening its flank,
which is exhausting the Russian forces.
The image you are looking at is from the Ukrainian army's battle report,
and although it is overlapped with the Russian army's loss figures,
it shows the locations shown on the map.
We have updated the battle map to show the extent of the Russian advance as occupied by Russian forces from the disputed territory.
In addition,
the battle map has been updated to show Russian forces occupying a portion of the suburbs between Rozvatske and the disputed territory.
2nd.
Also,
according to multiple sources,
the Russians attacked Rozvatske and occupied the settlement.
The Russians then suddenly changed the direction of their attack to the south,
which came as a surprise to the Ukrainian forces,
who increased their occupation in the direction of Proles.
The battle map was updated to show the area occupied by the Russians from the disputed territory,
and Rozvatzke changed the mark from blue to red.
3rd.
In Proles,
the Russians are advancing northward and attempting to stabilize the situation by joining the Russian forces in Rozvatske.
They may be trying to stabilize the front line once rather than creating a projection,
as there is the next line of defense for the Ukrainian army ahead of them and a fierce ground battle is expected.
The battle map has been updated with that area as occupied by Russian forces from the disputed area.
4th.
The battle map remains unchanged at Novoselivka Persia,
as both sides are replenishing and rotating units for the next ground battle.
5th.
In the direction from Netaylove to Karlivka,
the Russians attacked on the south side of the pond and advanced.
The Ukrainian forces are flanking the area with drones and cutting off their forces.
You are looking at the 11th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Army,
which is observing the Russian infantry at the location indicated on the map.
The battle map has been updated to show the Russian advance in this area.
The area is about 2.2 square kilometers.
Marinka area
Verkhanovosilka area
The Russians attacked nine times in the Marinka sector and once in the Verkhanovosyrka sector.
In Krasnohorivka,
according to the video with location data,
the Russian army has put tanks into the city,
the Ukrainian army seems to have retreated except for a part northwest of the city,
and the Russian army is advancing in that area.
The Russian troops are advancing in the area indicated on the map,
using tank artillery to fire on buildings.
The area is about 1.5 square kilometers. 。。。。
Backward region
1st.
As we reported at the beginning of yesterday's video,
the Mirerovo Air Base in Rostov was hit by a massive drone attack on the 20th,
and although the Russian MoD announced that all 26 drones had been shot down,
NASA's fire monitoring satellites confirmed that there was a massive fire at the airfield,
and after checking the social networking videos against the base According to NASA's fire monitoring satellites,
there was a large fire on the airfield,
and according to the SNS images and the layout map of the base,
the fuel storage and maintenance areas of the base were severely damaged.
Further satellite imagery is expected to reveal more damage to the Russian military.
Second.
A combined waterborne and airborne drone attack by Ukrainian forces on Lake Donuzlav in Crimea on July 18 sank two KS 701 tunet ships and appears to have destroyed a wide area of the base,
according to satellite imagery.
The satellite image shows multiple blackened and charred areas on the ground.
Southern Province of Zaporizhia
South,
province of Kherson.
Russian forces reported six ground battles in the Zaporizha sector and one along the Dnipro River near Kozachirahely,
but all were repulsed by Ukrainian forces and no advance was made by Russian forces.
This is a brief report with selected news about the situation in Ukraine.

1st.
The Daily Mail published a piece by former PM Boris Johnson titled “Why I am more convinced than ever that Trump has the power and courage to save Ukraine and end this terrible war.”
In it,
he emphasized up front that “I don't know what ex-President Trump will do,” but added,
“This is what he can do. He can build a lot in a year.
President Putin will make sure that Ukraine is a free,
sovereign,
independent European country,” and offered two items
Ukraine will be armed with U.S. weapons to the fullest extent possible,
and restrictions on their use on Russian territory will be eliminated.
Ukraine will become a member of the EU and NATO.
Instead of these two points,
he made the following two points about Ukraine
Ukraine will recapture its borders as of February 22,
2022. This means that Donetsk,
Luhansk,
and Crimea will remain in Russia.
President Putin will inform the Russian Federation that the goals of the de-Nazification of Ukraine and the special military operation have been achieved.
Boris Johnson also prepared President Trump's favorite exchange,
a proposal that “NATO will defend Europe with the help of Ukrainian troops on behalf of the United States.”
He said,
“Ukraine has more than a million troops,
is used to dealing with NATO equipment,
and has become the most effective anti-Russian force in the world. When the war is over,
NATO can be reinforced with Ukrainian troops,” he explained,
‘and at the same time,
President Trump can save money,
recall U.S. troops back home,
and accomplish what he is asking Europe to do in its defense efforts.’
2nd.
Regarding the unstable power supply since the emergency shutdown of the Rostov nuclear power plant in southern Russia,
the Russian authorities have introduced planned power outages and cut off electricity supply in a wide area from Crimea to Krasnodar.
However,
spontaneous demonstrations have been taking place as water and electricity supplies have been suspended for four days.
In Krasnodar,
residents blocked roads and shouted “Give us water” and “Give us light.
The mayor arrived at the site of the demonstration and called for patience,
but the residents surrounded the mayor and shouted,
“Tie this guy to a streetlight pole and stick him there until the electricity comes back on.
One of the residents said,
“At night it is hard to breathe because of the heat. All we want is to eat,
flush the toilet,
and wash our bodies. The stores are closed,
there is no food for the children,
and there is no drinking water.
As we reported in yesterday's video,
there are reports of a massive radiation leak at the plant,
which is being covered up by the authorities.
Speaking to the media about this,
Andrei Yusov,
head of Ukraine's main intelligence agency,
GUR,
said that “information from Russian authorities needs careful verification,” and did not rule out the “possibility that the Kremlin is hiding the truth from both its own citizens and the international community.”
That's all for today.

and updates in the comments section.
