Situation in Ukraine.
657 days after the Russian invasion of Kyiv,
first of all,
general matters.

According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,
the losses of Russian troops are,

800 soldiers
9 tanks
19 armoured fighting vehicles
3 artillery guns
9 drones
10 cruise missiles
16 other vehicles.

Across the entire front,
98 ground battles were reported in a single day.

and
the ratio of Ukrainian losses to Russian losses,
which can be visually confirmed,
is 1:1.4 compared to Ukrainian losses.

Russian military losses are dominated by infantry fighting vehicles,
while boats are prominent in the Ukrainian losses.

Here is a brief news report on the situation in Ukraine.
You can also use the YouTube chapter function to watch where necessary.

1st.
It appears that
the construction of submarines has become more difficult in Russia.

According to Vedomosti,
at the Admiralty shipyard,
which mainly supplied submarines for the Black Sea fleet,
the head of the Admiralty shipyard,
Veselov,
took responsibility and
resigned after production became difficult and
employees were temporarily put on standby at home until the end of the year.

The company is Russia's oldest shipbuilding company and
makes warships and
submarines for the Russian Ministry of Defence,

Construction of two diesel-electric submarines,
which began last summer,
was halted due to the unavailability of parts due to Western sanctions.

Two minesweepers,
which had been ordered separately,
had to be completely redesigned for the same reason,
and
it is thought that
the company took responsibility for these.

2nd.
The UK and
Norway have established a new maritime coalition to support Ukraine,
providing ships and
vehicles to counter Russian forces in the Black Sea and
to conduct training.

In this context,
the UK will hand
over two Sandown-class minesweepers to the Ukrainian Navy.

In addition to the two minesweepers,
the UK Ministry of Defence has announced that
it will also provide a coastguard patrol vessel,
20 Viking amphibious vehicles and
23 high-speed boats.

It is hoped that
these will help improve Ukraine's grain export capabilities.

3rd.
The Russian Armed Forces have formed a 'Disabled Assault Unit',
consisting of soldiers with serious injuries or illnesses,
to strengthen military capabilities.

According to Russian media,
this disabled unit will strengthen the existing Storm Z Assault Unit,

It will significantly relax the criteria for military service for those with experience in military operations,
dividing soldiers under medical treatment into categories A to G,
with all but G being eligible for military service even if they have a disease.

As the details of the criteria have not been made public,
soldiers and
their relatives fear that
they will be sent to the front line without completing their treatment.

Such cases have already been reported,
for example,
in April this year,
mobilised soldier Michal was assigned to a 'convalescent regiment' to recuperate after
a missile attack on the front line in Ukraine punctured a bone in his leg,
but he was unable to walk and
eventually did not receive adequate treatment.

Doctors classified him as Category B,
'six months after the injury and
ready to return to special military operations',
and
he was returned to the front line on crutches.

Other soldiers who had lost all their teeth,
three fingers and
one leg were all sent to the front as 'Category B'.

The doctors who diagnosed them were comforted by the fact that
they were diagnosed as Category B,
so they would be logistical support at the front.

Now,
here is the war situation in each region.
I will tell you where the war situation has changed.

Northeast - in the direction of Luhansk Oblast
Eastern part,
towards Bakhmut

We will tell you about the war situation on the Kupyansk to Svatove-Kreminna line and
from Sibersk to the area around Bakhmut.

In this sector,
Russian troops made four attacks in Shinkivka and
Ivanivka,
at least five attacks in and
around the Serebryanskiy Forest,
and
13 attacks in the Bakhmut sector.

Kupyansk direction.

According to positional video footage,
Russian troops attacked south of Kuzemine and
may have succeeded once.

Russian troops advanced with an armoured division of tanks and
infantry fighting vehicles,
and
Russian soldiers from the infantry fighting vehicles occupied Ukrainian positions.

The image you are seeing is from the Russian side and
is said to be a few days old,
but you can see a cloud of dust rising from the ground and
the infantry advancing.
The lack of snow on the ground is a concern,
but it confirms that
there was a ground battle at this location.

However,
the Ukrainian army then counter-attacked and
destroyed a Russian T80 tank at the same location.

What you are seeing belongs to the Azov Regiment,
and
the drone can confirm that
there was a large explosion.

The battle map has been updated with this area as a disputed area.

Siversk sector.
Yesterday,
we reported that
Ukrainian troops may have advanced,

We have confirmed that
Russian troops advanced in the opposite direction on the railway north of Bilohorivka.

We were able to confirm this because the Ukrainian army carried out a drone strike on the location on the battle map.

What we are showing you is the Russian troops on the railway line.

This area was recaptured by Ukrainian forces around August,
but the war map has been updated to show the area as occupied by Russian forces.

The area is about 1 sq km.

Bakhmut sector.

In this sector,
the Russians launched an offensive and
increasingly took the lead in attacks.

It seems that
the Ukrainian artillery is increasingly being taken by surprise,
perhaps because of the increasing number of days when drones cannot fly in the winter and
reconnaissance around the positions is not possible as it should be.

1st.
There is no change in the battle map in Bohodanivka,
but Russian military bloggers claim that
Russian troops have established a position just north of Bohodanivka and
are preparing to raid the town.

2nd.
In the vicinity of the battle map on the O0506 line north of Bakhmut,
Russian troops are conducting drone attacks,

It can be confirmed that
the location of the war map is the front line.

It is quite possible that
Russian forces will send ground troops to this area in the future to launch an offensive,
so caution is advised.

3rd.
On the contrary,
Ukrainian forces attacked the Russian military assembly south of Andryvka,
as well as destroying BTR 80 with artillery fire,

monitoring Russian positions with drones and
carrying out attacks when necessary.

What we are showing you is a view near the battle situation map,
where you can see the Russian trenches like a straight line on the plain.

Other than that,
no other information affecting the battle map was found in this area.

Southeast,
Donetsk Oblast.

Weather in Avdiivka is sleet.
Minimum temperature -3°C,
maximum -1°C.
Today's weather forecast is sleet.

It is more like hail or sleet than snow.

The following is an update on the situation in the direction of Avdiivka,
Marinka and
Vuhledar.

Avdiivka sector.

Russian forces have made 49 attacks in this sector and
are still continuing their assault,
although the offensive momentum has reportedly decreased recently.

The situation in Avdiivka appears to be stable,
but the Russians have started attacking Ukrainian supply lines with drones that
can be used at night,
making the situation difficult for both sides.

1st.
Around Krasnohorivka,
Russian forces are launching offensives in all directions.

Among them,
at the entrance to Stepove,
the Ukrainian army continues to pound the Russian positions with artillery fire and
drones at the location on the battle map,
according to the positional video,
while the Russian army continues to replenish its soldiers.

The Ukrainian drones also use drones carrying thermobaric warheads,
which release explosive gases when detonated,
and
explosive gases spread through gaps in buildings,
reaching combustion temperatures of up to 1000°C,
eliminating even Russian soldiers attached to the buildings.

The image shown is from the 47th Mechanised Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and
shows Russian troops in action.

There are no changes to the battle map.

2nd.
Also in a residential area southeast of the mine site called Terikon,

Based on multiple pieces of information,
Russian forces may be advancing slightly,
the area of engagement will be expanded and
the battle map will be updated once confirmation is received.

3rd.
In the factory area south of Avdiivka,
Russian troops are conducting drone reconnaissance at the location on the battle map and
are attacking with mortars,
confirming the presence of Ukrainian troops.

What we are showing you is the Russian side,
and
it is a view of the buildings at the location on the battle map.

There are no changes to the battle map here.

Marinka sector.

The Russians launched 18 attacks on Marinka and
Novomihailivka.

The situation in Marinka has become critical,
but Ukrainian forces continue to prevent the Russian occupation of the city by shelling,
even after withdrawing from the city centre,
thus reducing their strength.

1st.
Ukrainian troops conducted heavy night shelling to the north of Marinka,
confirming the presence of a Russian military frontline base at this location.

The video is from the Ukrainian Army's 79th Air Assault Brigade and
shows the location on the battle map.

The war map has been updated to show this area as occupied by Russian forces.

2nd.
According to some combined information,
some Russian units have moved around to the southern outskirts of Marinka,
increasing the area occupied.

The war situation map has been updated with the Russian forces occupying the area
in the vicinity of the war situation map.

3rd.
This one also comes from several sources,
but in Novomihailivka,
where Ukrainian troops had just established a defence line to the south last month,
Russian troops attacked from the east,
Ukrainian troops withdrew early and
Russian troops occupied the area just east of the town.

We have updated the battle map to Russian-occupied territory,
although this vicinity also includes the Ukrainian army,
which recaptured the area at the end of October.

Drawing a little on the map,
this vicinity is where the Ukrainian army has been prominent,
which has forced the Russians to make a large turn,
but it is possible that
they are trying to improve this.

South,
Zaporizhia Oblast.

There has been no change in the war picture in this sector,
although there have been at least one report of ground fighting
in the Verkanovo Silka sector and three in Robotyne.

South,
province of Kherson.

Russian troops carried out air strikes on Krynky and,
as yesterday,
paratrooper tanks and
infantry fighting vehicles attacked in convoys,
but were repulsed by Ukrainian troops,
with no changes to the battlefield map.

What we are showing you is the situation at the location on the battle map,
where the Russian T72 was repulsed.

That's all for today.
Thank you for watching.
