Situation in Ukraine
It has been 843 days since Russia invaded Kyiv.

First,
a general matter.

According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,
Russian losses were 1,090 soldiers
20 tanks
29 armored fighting vehicles
37 guns
2 multiple rocket launchers
4 air defense systems
51 drones
7 cruise missiles
69 other vehicles.

The entire front reported 87 ground strikes in one day.

Now,
here is the war situation in each region.
We will focus on the areas where the war situation has changed.
You can follow the changes with the date if you use the full screen view on the big screen.

Northeast,
toward Harkiv

This report focuses on the situation in the Halkiu area,
where Russian troops crossed the border on May 10 and launched a military invasion.

The weather in Harkiv is cloudy.
The minimum temperature is 17 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is 27 degrees Celsius.
Rain is forecast for today.

Russian troops have made four attacks in this area,
but were repulsed by Ukrainian troops,
and ground fighting continues in Vovtyansk.

Vovtyansk

In this area,
Russian troops are pouring into the area,
and losses are piling up one after another. According to Ukrainian military spokesman Voloshin,
the Russian military reported that between May 10 and June 10,
4,000 Russian soldiers were neutralized in the Harkiv area.

Also,
according to several sources combined,
a 70-man Russian military unit that attacked a chemical plant south of a hospital in Vovtyansk ran out of supplies after a failed attack,
and the 3rd Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Army surrounded and took 24 men prisoner.

The battle map remains unchanged.

The Russians have begun building positions in Vovtyansk and may turn to defense,
while the Ukrainians have also targeted and destroyed engineering vehicles.

Note that Harkiv Mayor Terekhov reported at a press conference that Russian airstrikes on the city of Harkiv in June were down from May,
since the West has authorized attacks on Russian territory.

Northeast,
toward Luhansk Oblast
East,
in the direction of ChasivYar

The following is an update on the war situation in the area from Kupyansk to ChasivYar.

In this area,
the Russians attacked four times in Kupyansk,
six times along the Svatovekremina line,
once around Sibersk,
and 11 times around ChasivYar,
but all attacks were repulsed by Ukrainian forces,
leaving the battle map unchanged.

ChasivYar Area

In this area,
Russian forces attacked Canal,
Klishchiivka,
and Andrivka,
but as we reported earlier,
the Russian attacks were repulsed.

Yaroslav,
commander of the 80th Individual Amphibious Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,
appeared on Ukrainian military television and reported that the tactics of the Russian forces are changing: "The enemy sometimes rushes in on motorcycles,
but we no longer observe the assault tactics known as meat attacks by Russian forces,
but attack with drones and small groups and are repulsed in the process. The Russian military's tactics are changing.

Southeast Donetsk Oblast

The following is an update on the war situation in the areas of Avdiivka,
Marinka,
and Velikanovosilka.

The Avdiivka sector

In this sector the Russians made 32 attacks in various directions,
24 of which were repulsed by Ukrainian forces and 8 were in combat.

1st.
In Novo Oleksandrivka,
the Russian attack was repulsed by Ukrainian forces,
and the Russians withdrew after losing a BMP infantry fighting vehicle in the rear of Novo Oleksandrivka.

As we reported in our previous video,
there is a major Ukrainian military defense line to the west of Novo Oleksandrivka,
and we expect a very tough fight ahead for the Russian forces.

2nd.
In Sokir,
the Russian attack has also been repulsed by the Ukrainian army,
and the situation is such that the wretched corpses of Russian soldiers are left untouched,
which we cannot even show you in the telegram.

Ukrainian forces have sprayed mines to block the Russian advance,
and at the location shown on the map south of Sokir,
a Russian infantry fighting vehicle was destroyed when it stepped on it.

3rd.
In Novoselivka Persia,
the Russians charged from the east and were repulsed by a full course of mines,
cluster shells,
and drones as they neared the 1.5 km entrance to the settlement.

What you are seeing is the Ukrainian side,
which is observing the Russian troops advancing in a convoy.

Incidentally,
242 soldiers,
eight tanks,
and eight armored fighting vehicles were repulsed in this direction in one day.

Is it possible that the Russian offensive is slowing down,
coinciding with President Putin's ceasefire proposal?
So far,
there has been no change in the battle map.

Marinka area

In this area,
the Russians made 17 attacks,
16 of which were repulsed by Ukrainian forces,
and as yesterday,
ground fighting continues in Krasnohorivka.

1st.
In Krasnohorivka,
according to the video with location data,
Russian troops attacked the area near the roundabout indicated on the map,
resulting in an urban battle.

The image you are seeing is from the Russian Army's 5th Motorized Rifle Brigade,
which is seen operating near the building shown on the map,
as the rotary is in the image.

There are no changes to the battle map at this time.

2nd.
In Heoryivka,
a convoy of 28 vehicles of the Russian army entered the settlement,
according to the video with location information.

The one you are seeing is from the 46th Air Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Army,
and the location is shown on the map.

The Russian convoy was repulsed one after another by minefields,
Ukrainian artillery fire,
and drones,
but the Russians continued to advance,
with some of their vehicles continuing past the settlement to Maksimiryanyuka.

In the end,
13 Russian vehicles were destroyed,
58 Russian soldiers were neutralized,
and the attack was repulsed.

Although the attack was repulsed,
the battle map was updated to show that the disputed territory had expanded to the locations indicated on the map.

Velikanovosilka sector

No major ground battles were reported in this sector.

Backward region

1st.
At a military camp in Rostov,
a car carrying the chief of staff of the Russian army in this direction,
Vadim Sobesky,
exploded. The chief of staff reportedly jumped from the car,
which was engulfed in flames,
just before the explosion and was not injured.

2nd.
IAEA reports that a mine exploded in a cooling pond at the Zaporizha nuclear power plant,
but no one was injured or harmed in the explosion.

A Russian military drone training center and a Chechen shooting range have been established on the grounds of the Zaporizha nuclear power plant,
and as we reported in a previous video,
we sometimes hear stories of such incidents,
such as a drone that failed to maneuver and fell into a nuclear building and exploded.

Southern Province of Zaporizhia
Southern province of Kherson

In this area,
the Russians attacked three times in Malatkumatica and five times in Krinky,
but the Ukrainian army repulsed them,
leaving the battle map unchanged.

Other.
In an interview with Bloomberg,
South Korean Foreign Minister Won Shik reported that there were at least 10,000 containers shipped from North Korea to Russia,
and that they may have sent 4.8 million shells.

The minister said that the monetary compensation alone is enough to make up for North Korea's food shortages,
although the quid pro quo includes technology related to spy satellites.

NATO currently has the capacity to produce 1.7 million artillery shells per year.

This is a brief report with selected news about the situation in Ukraine.

You can also use YouTube's chapter feature to watch where you need to.

1st.
On the night of June 14,
a massive drone attack on the Russian military's Morozovsk airfield in Rostov destroyed several Su34s and other aircraft,
although damage is still being assessed.

According to Ukraine's Main Intelligence Directorate,
at least 70 or so drones were used in the attack,
and video footage shows countless anti-aircraft fire and explosions from the ground,
while satellite images also show the destruction of a shelter that housed two Su34s and multiple scorch marks on the apron where they were parked,
It can be confirmed that a fire broke out.

Some Russian sources report that 16 people,
including six pilots,
were called to hell.
The loss of fighters is still being assessed,
but satellite imagery and an interview with Secretary Budanov with Warzone indicate that multiple fighters were damaged,
to say the least.

The Morozovsk airfield is used as a frontline base for attacks on Ukraine,
and 14 aircraft were destroyed or badly damaged in the April 5 attack two months ago.

2nd.
G7 summit,
Russia issued a statement saying that it must pay Ukraine more than $486 billion in damages from the war in Ukraine.

This amount was estimated by the World Bank in February of this year as the cost of reconstruction and rehabilitation over the next 10 years.

Meanwhile,
President Putin announced in his speech that he would ceasefire if Ukraine withdraws from Russian-occupied territory and abandons its NATO membership.

When Russia talks about negotiations,
it is usually at a stalemate,
most recently due to the failed invasion of Harkiv and the sanctions imposed on the Moscow Exchange for suspending the exchange of dollars.
Russia then tends to launch another military offensive when the other side is weakened.

On the other hand,
President Zelensky,
NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg,
and Pentagon Secretary Austin have all said that Russia must withdraw its troops from Ukrainian territory.

3rd.
Regarding the new U.S. fighter aircraft grant that we reported on in yesterday's video,
Defense Express pointed out that a close examination based on the agreement document and the press conference indicates that the agreement envisages the grant of an F15EX or FA18 fighter squadron in one package.

In the agreement document,
there is a section entitled "procurement of a state-of-the-art fighter jet force that includes but is not limited to F16s," and it is assumed that this assumes the F15EX or FA18,
the 4th generation fighter aircraft owned by the United States.

In addition,
the agreement document also states "establishment of a tiered integrated air defense and missile defense system," which our analysis suggests is also in mind of installing Aegis Ashore in Ukraine and having it carry ballistic missile defense not only for Ukraine but also for all of Europe.

That's all for today.

and any updates you may have in the comments section.

Thank you for watching.
