Situation in Ukraine
It has been 827 days since Russia invaded Kyiv.
First of all,
general matters.
According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,
the Russian losses were 1,160 soldiers
10 tanks
22 armored fighting vehicles
35 guns
1 multi-role rocket
22 drones
64 other vehicles.
The entire front reported 110 ground battles in a single day.
And the ratio of the number of losses of Ukrainian equipment to Russian losses,
which can be visually confirmed,
is 1 to 1.9 compared to the number of losses on the Ukrainian side.
Losses on the Russian side are dominated by infantry fighting vehicles,
tanks,
and artillery; conversely,
boats are prominent on the Ukrainian side.
This is a brief report with selected news about the situation in Ukraine.
You can also use YouTube's chapter feature to see where you need to go.
Now,
here is the war situation in each region.
I will focus on the areas where there are changes in the war situation.
You can follow the changes with the date if you use the full screen on the big screen.
Northeast,
toward Harkiv
It has been 18 days since the Russians invaded along the border in Harkiv.
The weather in Harkiv is cloudy.
Minimum temperature 15 degrees Celsius,
maximum temperature 28 degrees Celsius.
The weather forecast for today is also cloudy.
The Russians have made four attacks in this direction.
Liptsi sector
Russian troops regrouped and resumed offensive operations in this sector.
1st.
On the southeastern outskirts of Hlyboke,
positional video footage confirms that this area is under Russian control,
as Ukrainian troops observe Russian soldiers at the base of a tree at the location shown on the map.
The image you are viewing is from the 13th Khartiya Brigade of the Ukrainian Army and shows the location indicated on the map.
The battle map has been updated to show the Russian forces occupying this area.
Bovtyansk area
In this area,
the Russians also attacked and advanced while establishing positions in the rear.
1st.
In the settlement of Staricha,
the Russians began to take houses,
which the Ukrainians destroyed with artillery and drone strikes.
Location-based video footage shows the “Russian Freedom” Corps shelling houses in the locations indicated on the map,
confirming that the Russians have penetrated this far.
Russian troops have established a position in the settlement of Buhruvatka,
and have repeatedly expanded their occupation of this area,
only to be repulsed.
The area is about 1.2 square kilometers.
2nd.
In the city center of Bovtyansk,
there was no information on any changes to the battle map,
although it appears that the Ukrainian forces are pushing slightly more in the city center.
The Russians continue to use incendiary and thermobaric bombs and air strikes in the center of the city in an attempt to force the Ukrainian forces to wear down the city.
Northeast: Luhansk Oblast
Eastern part,
toward ChasivYar
The following is an update on the situation in the area from Kupyansk to ChasivYar.
The Russians attacked 16 times in Kupyansk,
16 times on the Svatove-Kreminna line,
once around Sivelsk,
and 6 times around ChasivYar.
ChasivYar Area
The Russians are trying to capture ChasivYar,
but they seem to be having trouble in the outpost Canal,
and may be trying to find a way around the axis of attack,
which is largely to the south of Ivanivske.
1st.
On the Canal,
the Russians have closed to just outside the city limits but are advancing slightly,
with losses,
while suffering from Ukrainian drone strikes to the north and being overlooked by high-rise apartment buildings to the south.
What you are seeing is the residential area shown on the map,
where Ukrainian troops are using numerous drones to visit where Russian troops are.
We have updated the battle map to show this location as occupied by Russian forces from disputed territory.
2nd.
Also south of Canal,
the Russians are firing thermobaric bombs to contain the Ukrainian forces,
who are then closing in on the outer edge of the town.
What you are seeing is the Russian side,
and according to the comments,
“The 98th Airborne Division has reached the south and east of Canal and is preparing an assault operation.
The terrain is suitable for defense,
the Ukrainian forces are active,
and the way forward is difficult.
The Russians are expected to enter the Canal and engage in urban warfare.
The battle map has been updated to show the outside of the Canal as occupied by Russian forces from disputed territory.
3rd.
On the southern outskirts of Ivanivske,
the Russians have launched an assault by bringing in turtle tanks.
Turtle tanks are slower because they have cages on the outside of their armor,
but they can buy more time before being repulsed,
and Russian tanks were repulsed by Ukrainian forces at the locations shown on the map.
However,
it appears that they were able to advance more on level ground and were able to unload and deploy their soldiers.
What you are seeing is the appearance of the Russian Turtle T80 and Turtle BMP infantry fighting vehicles,
and the location shown on the map.
This location is where the Ukrainian troops recaptured their positions about two weeks ago,
but we have updated the battle map as a partially disputed area.
4th.
Also,
at the train station on the shore of the pond east of Klishchiivka,
Russian infantry attacked and attached themselves to the train station building,
turning it into a stronghold.
The Ukrainian military has updated its battle map to show that the Russians have taken over the area where the Ukrainians have been attacking with drones.
Other than that,
Russian attacks were repulsed by Ukrainian forces and no Russian advance was confirmed.
Southeast Donetsk Oblast.
The following is an update on the situation in the areas of Avdiivka,
Marinka,
and Vuhledar.
Avdiivka area
The Russians made 25 attacks in various directions in this sector.
Ukrainian forces have taken measures to stabilize the front and in most places the Russians have not been able to advance,
only in Netaylove,
where unconfirmed reports indicate that the Russians have extended their front north and south of the river and may have advanced westward,
respectively,
and we have updated the battle map to show the extent of this extension of the disputed territory.
Marinka area
Vuhledar Area
In this sector,
the Russians attacked 9 times in the Marinka sector and 6 times in Urozhyn and Staromaiorsk.
The 1st
In Krasnohorivka,
north of Marinka,
which we have reported on every day,
the Russians attacked in the opposite direction from the route of the Ukrainian counterattack on May 27,
deploying soldiers in several places along the way to carry out mopping up operations.
The Russian side is shown on the map.
You can see that the Russian convoy is moving forward slowly,
with a narrow space between their vehicles.
The battle map remains unchanged.
2nd.
In Paraskovyivka,
west of Novomihailivka,
the Russians have launched a 40-round multiple rocket attack on the entire settlement,
and there is a possibility that a convoy or infantry assault will take place in the future.
The following is from the Russian MoD,
showing the operation using BM21 Grads of the 238th Artillery Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces: 。

Rear Areas
The Russian military's air defenses have been weakened,
and various operations are underway.
First,
there are reports of power outages in Evpatoria,
Crimea,
explosions on the Crimean Bridge,
and in Meltopol,
100 km from the front lines,
Russian Buk M1 air defense systems were destroyed by Ukrainian military drones.
There was also an explosion in Dokuchayevsk,
south of Donetsk,
and a drone flight was observed in Armavir,
further east of Krasnodar.
South Zaporizhia Oblast
South,
province of Kherson.
In this sector,
the Russians attacked three times near Robotyne and ten times in Krinky,
but the Russian attacks failed and the battle map remained unchanged.
Miscellaneous
Politico,
The New York Times,
and other news outlets reported in breaking news that Germany and the United States are beginning to consider the possibility of attacking Russian territory with their own weapons.
However,
a decision is expected to take more than two weeks to be made,
and even if a change of policy is made,
it is unlikely to be made public.
1st.
In comments to Bloomberg,
Ukraine's Assistant Minister of Strategy and Industry,
Saku,
said,
“Ukraine recently fired a Western long-range missile toward Russian territory.”
He reported that “after the UK approved a Storm Shadow attack on Russian territory,
the Ukrainian military successfully attacked targets inside Russia with the Storm Shadow.”
So far,
according to the Institute for the Study of War's summary,
10 countries - Britain,
France,
Sweden,
the Czech Republic,
Poland,
Finland,
Estonia,
Latvia,
Lithuania,
the Netherlands,
and Canada - have expressed support for Ukraine's use of its own weapons to attack military targets on Russian territory.
Second.
Sweden also announced military aid to Ukraine this week,
its largest ever,
totaling 1.16 billion euros.
This includes the provision of at least one ASC 890 airborne surveillance and control aircraft,
as well as the Rb99,
an improved version of the AIM 120 AMRAAM air-to-air missile.
The ASC 890 is an early warning aircraft equipped with an Erieye radar that can detect fighter aircraft,
helicopters,
cruise missiles,
and ships in a 400 km radius,
500,000 square kilometer area of airspace and control friendly aircraft,
and Sweden has long had the know-how to operate radar surveillance aircraft,
including F-16 The F-16s will greatly enhance the operational capabilities of the Ukrainian Air Force,
which has long had expertise in operating radar surveillance aircraft.
Third.
The Russian Ministry of Finance has announced that it will raise personal income tax,
business income tax,
small business tax,
and mineral extraction tax beginning next year.
Russia's military spending this year is 10.8 trillion rubles,
or 30% of total spending,
and according to Bloomberg's chief economist Isakov,
this is expected to increase tax revenue by 17 trillion rubles over six years,
or 2.8 trillion rubles per year.
4th.
As many of you know,
as we have reported many times in this video,
it is known in Russia that prisoners are sent to Ukraine,
but according to Medusa,
now in Russia,
suspects,
defendants,
and even those who are under investigation before being convicted can volunteer for special military operations According to Medusa,
in Russia,
it is now possible to volunteer for special military operations for suspects,
defendants,
and even during the investigation stage before conviction.
If a suspect signs a military service contract,
the investigation is halted and criminal proceedings are suspended.
A Russian journalist for BBC News reports that police officers say that for most crimes,
except terrorism and treason,
suspects are sent to special military operations.
This gives the person a choice at any stage during the investigation,
arrest detention,
or trial,
and he or she can choose to go to Ukraine during the war or face punishment,
according to the article.
The article says that each district has a quota for the number of contracts,
so if any of your friends are going to Russia,
you might want to gently let them know.
That's all for today.
Please feel free to leave your analysis of the war situation,
thoughts on the news,
and updates in the comments section.
Thank you for watching.
