Situation in Ukraine
It has been 881 days since Russia invaded Kyiv.
First,
a general matter.
According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,
Russian losses were 1,220 soldiers
4 tanks
20 armored fighting vehicles
57 guns
2 multiple rocket launchers
1 air defense system
36 drones
67 other vehicles.
The entire front reported 133 ground battles in one day.
And the ratio of the number of losses of Ukrainian equipment to Russian losses,
which can be visually confirmed,
is 1 to 3.2,
the same as yesterday,
compared to the number of losses on the Ukrainian side.
Losses on the Russian side can be seen mostly in armored fighting vehicles and artillery,
and conversely,
artillery is also noticeable on the Ukrainian side.
Now,
here is the war situation in each region.
We will focus on the areas where the war situation has changed.
The changes can be followed along with the date if you use the full screen view on the big screen: 。。。。
Northeast,
toward Harkiv
This month's report focuses on the situation in the Halkiw area,
where Russian troops crossed the border and made a military incursion in May.
In this area,
Russian forces conducted 9 attacks in Hlyboke and Vovtyansk,
8 of which were repulsed by Ukrainian forces,
and 1 of which is still ongoing on the ground.
Vovtyansk area
In yesterday's video,
we reported that Russian military reinforcements have been deployed in this area.
According to the video with location information,
Ukrainian and Russian forces were engaged in close combat at the location indicated on the map,
with Ukrainian forces being repelled by grenades thrown by Russian forces,
and Russian forces advancing from the east in a roundabout way.
The image you are looking at was taken by a Russian drone and shows Russian soldiers in the building indicated on the map.
We have updated the battle map from disputed territory and recaptured Ukrainian territory to Russian-occupied territory for about two blocks of the area.
For the rest,
there is no information affecting the battle map,
and the Russian offensive did not lead to any advance. 。。。。
Northeast - in the direction of Luhansk Oblast
Eastern part,
toward ChasivYar
The following is an update on the war situation in the area from Kupyansk to ChasivYar.
In this sector,
the Russians attacked 10 times in the direction of Kupyansk,
6 times on the Svatove-Kreminna line,
5 times around Sivelsk,
5 times around ChasivYar,
and 5 times in the direction of Toretsk.
Kupyansk Area
In this sector,
the Russians attacked in the direction of Shinkivka,
Berestove,
and Stelmakhivka,
but these attacks were repulsed by Ukrainian forces,
leaving the battle map unchanged.
Meanwhile,
unconfirmed reports indicate that the Russians have begun advancing westward from Pishchane,
while the Ukrainians are reinforcing their positions in Korisnikivka.
If we draw a map,
we can see that Kupyansk is 10 kilometers away,
and the Russians are attacking toward Kupyansk.
The ChasivYar area
The frontal attack of the Russian army in this sector is defended by the Ukrainian army,
and the Russian advance is halted at the canal.
However,
the Russians advanced on the flanks,
attacking the weak defenses of the Ukrainian army.
In the direction from Bohodanivka to Hryhorivka,
multiple intelligence reports indicate that the Russians attacked toward Hryhorivka and advanced on the southeastern outskirts.
This area had been unchanged for a long time since the Russian advance during the Bakhmut offensive,
after which the Ukrainian army recaptured some positions in February.
The battle map has been updated to show that the Russians have advanced to the positions from which the Ukrainians withdrew following the attack.
The area is about 2 square kilometers.
Toretsk sector
In this sector,
the Russians attacked Pivnichne,
Artemove,
and Niuyork,
advancing in parts.
1st.
In the Artemove area,
we reported in yesterday's video that Russian troops were conducting a flanking attack in a residential area.
Since then,
according to multiple sources,
it appears that the Russian military has expanded its area of control to include a high-rise district.
We have updated the battle map to show the area occupied by Russian forces from the disputed territory.
The area is about 2 square kilometers.
2nd.
In Niue York,
this is a positional video showing Russian troops advancing toward the center of the city,
and Ukrainian troops launching a counterattack with Bradley infantry fighting vehicles.
The image you are seeing is of the 425th Skala Battalion of the Ukrainian Army,
operating in the two locations shown on the map,
a high-rise residential area and a sports complex.
The battle map remains unchanged due to events in the disputed territory,
but the situation remains tense as the Russians are attempting to advance block by block. 。。。。
Southeast Donetsk Oblast.
The following is an update on the war situation in the areas of Avdiivka,
Marinka,
and Velikanovosilka.
The weather in Avdiivka affecting the operation is rainy
The minimum temperature is 19 degrees Celsius,
the maximum temperature is 30 degrees Celsius.
The weather forecast for today is cloudy.
Avdiivka area
In this sector,
the Russians launched 27 attacks in various directions,
22 of which were repulsed by the Ukrainian army,
and 5 of which were still in ground combat,
with no results for the Russians and no change in the battle map.
However,
from Proles to Evhenivka,
unconfirmed reports indicate that the Russians attacked from Proles toward Vovce and attempted to surround Ukrainian forces on the outskirts of Evhenivka,
so the Ukrainians counterattacked Russian forces in Proles and halted their advance,
It is possible that Ukrainian troops on the outskirts of Evhenivka retreated to ensure the safety of Ukrainian troops on the outskirts of Evhenivka.
The battle map remains unchanged,
but we will revisit the battle map as additional information becomes available.
Marinka area
Verkanovo Silka
The Russians attacked five times in the direction of Marinka and three times in the direction of Verkanovosylka.
1st.
In Krasnohorivka,
according to the video with location data,
Russian troops advanced by one house at the location shown on the map.
Ukrainian forces responded with drones and artillery fire,
reducing the Russian forces' strength.
The image you are watching was taken by the Ukrainian side and shows Russian infantry advancing on the house shown on the map.
Since the advance was on one house,
we will update the battle map when we have more time to put it together.
2nd.
In Heoryivka,
positioned video footage shows Russian troops crossing the settlement and launching an attack on neighboring Maksimiryanyuka.
Meanwhile,
Ukrainian troops are responding with drones.
The image you are seeing is from the Ukrainian side,
which is observing the Russian troops at the location indicated on the map.
We have updated the battle map by changing the area from disputed territory and Ukrainian-controlled territory to partially occupied by Russian forces,
and by changing Heoryivka from a blue to a red marker.
This is a small settlement,
but it took the Russians nearly five months to occupy it after they captured Novomihailivka and launched an attack on Heoryivka in early March.
Backward region
1st.
Ukrainian forces have attacked one airbase after another in Rostov.
Following the Mirerovo airbase on the 20th,
the Ukrainian military attacked the Morozovsk airbase,
and according to witnesses,
a fire broke out at the airbase.
What you are seeing is the scene en route.
The Ukrainian military is said to have attacked with at least 10 drones.
Details of the damage are currently unknown.
The airfield is manned by Su34 and Su24 aircraft and is located approximately 300 kilometers from the front line.
2nd.
Ukrainian forces also attacked the Tuapse refinery in Krasnodar and the attack was successful.
What you are seeing is the scene.
This refinery is the largest refinery on the Black Sea,
and the attack is expected to further increase the shortage and price of gasoline in Russia,
where gasoline is currently in short supply and prices have soared 44% in the past month.
The Russians claim to have shot down 47 drones in Rostov and 8 drones in Krasnodar.
Southern Province of Zaporizhia
South,
province of Kherson.
There were three reports of Russian troops in the Zaporizha area,
and there were also reports of positional fighting along the Dnipro River near Kozachirahely,
but all were repulsed by Ukrainian forces and no advance was made by Russian troops,
but there is information that at least 12 Russian soldiers were killed after eating poisoned watermelon in Khrson,
probably due to the hot weather.
This is a brief report with selected news about the situation in Ukraine.

1st.
'Russia has already lost. The war will be over by the summer of 2025” is the topic of this analysis.
To summarize briefly because it is long: 1. The war in Ukraine has been a complete disaster for Russia.
Initially intended to be conquered in three days,
it became a war of attrition that lasted two years due to Putin's vanity.
2. Even after losing 560,000 soldiers,
60,000 pieces of equipment,
28 ships,
and 361 aircraft,
Russia has not found a breakthrough.
It is madness to repeat the same attacks every day and expect different results.
3. Putin needs a miracle,
and that may be a Trump victory,
but the inauguration is next January 20,
less than six months away.
4.Before then,
Russia's offensive will have passed its highest point and the offensive will wane,
unable to withstand the loss of troops and equipment.
5. by the summer of 2025 at the latest,
the war will effectively be over,
but Putin will not admit defeat,
so instead the Russian economy will collapse and the lives of Russians will be miserable.
This is the case.
2nd.
According to Politico,
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kreva has accepted an invitation from Chinese PM Wang Yi to visit China through Friday.
This will be his first visit to Beijing since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion.
The Ukrainian side says the talks have been announced “on China's role in dealing with Russian aggression and achieving a stable and just peace.”
The visit was announced shortly after President Biden announced he would not seek reelection.
Is he getting some kind of Russian message?
3rd.
According to NHK,
a Japanese volunteer soldier fighting on the Russian side was killed.
The former Japan Self-Defense Force soldier in his 20s,
who lived in Osaka Prefecture,
joined the Russian army and was killed in a blast in Donetsk Oblast,
according to information received by the Japanese embassy,
although his whereabouts are unknown.
4th.
Russian Importers Are Having More and More Trouble Paying Their Bills Due to Sanctions
According to a report in the Moscow Times,
Russian importers are using yuan because they cannot use dollars or euros due to the sanctions.
But since last month,
the term “dirty yuan” has been used in China to refer to yuan that once passed to Russian traders are called “dirty.
Once it has passed through Russia,
no bank or company will accept it anymore,
even if it is RMB,
because any connection may be sanctioned by the West.
Therefore,
Russian companies are sending money to China after converting dirty money into clean yuan via third-country intermediaries.
The commission fee increases according to the degree of dirty money.
The minimum fee is 5%,
usually 10%,
and in the case of sanctions,
even more,
and the exchange rate for converting rubles - dirty yuan to clean yuan - is also a rip-off.
The article reports that “exporting to Russia is no longer the same as smuggling.” 。。
That's all for today.
