Situation in Ukraine
It has been 702 days since Russia invaded Kyiv.

First some general things.

According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,
the Russian losses were
990 soldiers
8 tanks
16 armoured fighting vehicles
15 artillery pieces
1 cruise missile
25 other vehicles.

A total of 65 ground battles were reported on the front.

And the ratio of visually confirmed losses of Ukrainian equipment to Russian losses is 1 to 2.1 compared to the number of losses on the Ukrainian side.

The losses on the Russian side are mostly infantry fighting vehicles and civilian trucks,
and they are sending soldiers to the front lines to take advantage of this opportunity.

On the Ukrainian side,
there have also been losses of IFVs due to drone strikes.

but there is a lot of information about the Russian Il-76 transport plane that was shot down in Belgorod.

According to a statement released by Andriy Yusov,

The downed plane was originally intended to carry Russian military and Kremlin VIPs,
but at the last minute the FSB ordered them to travel by other means.

here is the war situation in each region.
Here are the areas where the war situation has changed.

Northeast: Luhansk region
Eastern part,
towards Bakhmut

We will report on the war situation on the Svatove-Kreminna line from Halkiu and Kupyansk,
and from the area around Siversk to Bakhmut.

In this area the Russians attacked five times in Shinkivka,
six times in the forests of Makiiuka,
Dibrova and Serebryansky,
and five times in the area of Bakhmut.

Svatove-Kreminna line

In Makiyka,
we reported on the Ukrainian military counter-attack in a video the day before yesterday,
and the Ukrainian military offensive continues.

We have unconfirmed information that units of the 252nd Motorised Rifle Regiment and the 237th Tank Regiment of the Russian Army have abandoned their positions and retreated.

These two units were supposed to be at the forefront of the attack,
but the Ukrainian army's counter-attack appears to have forced them to retreat.

Secondly.
In Terny,
the Russians attacked with a tank and two BMP infantry fighting vehicles,
but the lead tank stepped on a mine and was destroyed,
and the crew and the following infantry fighting vehicles quickly withdrew.

This area was occupied by the Russians during the offensive at the end of December last year,

Around Sibersk

In Bilohorivka,
according to the video of the positions,
the Russians also advanced in a convoy on the plain,
but were repulsed by a drone attack by Ukrainian forces at the location on the battle map.

There is no change to the battle map here.

Bakhmut area

In Bohdanivka,
too,
Ukrainian troops have turned to counterattack.

According to the position video,
the Russians carried out a drone strike at the location indicated on the map,
and we can see that Ukrainian troops have advanced to this location.

it appears that the Russians have either occupied part of the northern edge of Bohdanivka or have already withdrawn from the entire town.

The Ukrainian army has retaken about 3 square kilometres of the area.

Otherwise,
the Russian attack was repulsed by Ukrainian forces,

Southeast Donetsk region

The weather in Avdiivka is cloudy and snowy.
The minimum temperature is -12 degrees Celsius and the maximum is 0 degrees Celsius.

Below is an update on the situation in the areas of Avdiivka,
Marinka and Vuhledar.

Avdiivka

In this area the Russians attacked Avdiivka,
Pervomaiske and Neveleske 8 times.

Around Krasnohorivka there is a battle for positions,
especially at the entrance to the town of Stepove.

Ukrainian troops are firing drone after drone and scoring direct hits against lightly armed Russian infantry.

Marinka area

Russian forces launched 9 air strikes on Novomihailivka in the direction of Heoryivka,
but Ukrainian forces repelled all of them and Russian forces suffered no casualties.

South,
Zaporizhia province.

In this sector,
the Russians made one attack each in Zolotaniva and Staromaiorsk,
and at least one attack in Robotyne,
but the Ukrainian forces repelled them and the Russians had no success.

Conversely,
the Ukrainian forces won the battle for positions and advanced in this sector.

Robotyne

North of Verbove,
Ukrainian troops advanced and Russian troops retreated.

According to the position video,
the presence of Ukrainian troops can be confirmed by the fact that the Russians are shelling the location shown on the battle map.

The battle map has been updated to show that the Ukrainian army has retaken this area and that the Russian army has retreated by one square.

The area is approximately 1.5 square kilometres.

Backward region

Near Ilovaisk in the Russian-occupied Donetsk region,
a drone training facility of the Russian 2nd Army was attacked by HIMARS and 24 Russian soldiers in training were sent to hell.

South,
Kherson province.
The Russians have carried out seven attacks in this sector,
and unconfirmed reports indicate that the Russians have made a slight advance east of Krinky,
but so far there has been no change in the battle map.

Also in Krinky,
a Belarusian officer was killed and his passport released.
Belarus is not supposed to be involved in the war in Ukraine,
