地球交響曲　ふたたび

かつて人が花や木や鳥たちと本当に話ができた時代がありました。
そのころ人は自分たちの命が宇宙の大きな命の一部であることを誰もが知っていました。

ふたたび、表参道のウィメンズプラザでガイアシンフォニーの1番と９番を観ました。

１番がリリースされたのは1990年ということですからもう30年も前になりますが、映像や言葉は今も光り輝いていました。「人間は過去を学ぶことで未来を作る」「私は地球の意思の通り道」、など、それは今私に響くことば。ふと沸き起こる「こうした方がいい」という思いやふと口に出る言葉はガイアが私を通り道にしているのだと思います。あ、私でない何かが言っている、と思ったことが何度あったことか。。

9番をもう一度見たかったのは特別な出来事があったから。2月に逗子で観たあと、家族の一人（夫の妹）を失くして意気消沈していた時 戸沼ゆきえさん、林良樹さんの企画「あわたび」で行った安房の地で、山口泰さんさんを尋ねました。今の状況をお話しすると「人は死んで光になる。だから死は今の生での役目を終えて光になるおめでたいこと」という言葉に出会いました。（言葉はまさにその時に用意されている！）また泰さんが9番の演奏会の録音を担当されていたという”偶然”から、その演奏会のさわりをほんの少し聴かせていただきました。monk beat studioというお寺とスタジオが一体となった空間でです！音楽は時に人を癒し、元気付ける創造主（またはガイア）からのギフトである、それは「通り道」となる人（ベートーベン、コバケン、エンヤ、すべてのパフォーマー）を通して、私たちに届けられる、と改めて思いました。

私たちは地球という生命体を構成するいち構成物質に過ぎない、という謙虚な思いをすべての人が持ち、全てのものを慈しめば地球も人間も美しくあり続けるはず、と改めて思いました。

I watched  two documentary films called Gaia Symphony. NO. 1 and 9.  The film "Gaia Symphony" is an omnibus documentary film series directed by Jin Tatsumura, encouraged by the Gaia Theory of Dr. James Lovelock, a British biophysicist, and the idea that "the earth itself is a giant living organism.

The first film was released in 1990, so it has been 30 years already, but the images and words still shine brightly. The images and words still shine brightly today: "Man creates his future by learning from his past," "I am the pathway of the earth's will," etc. These are words that resonate with me today. I think that Gaia is making me a pathway for the thoughts.

After watching the 9th film in Zushi in February, when I was feeling down soon after my sister in low passed away, I met Yasushi Yamaguchi in Awa in Chiba, where Yukie Tonuma and Yoshiki Hayashi had organized the tour to meet people living there. Yasushi said, “Death is a celebration of becoming light after completing one's role in this life”.  The word is prepared for that very moment! Also, by "coincidence" that Yasushi was in charge of recording the concert of 9th film, I was able to listen to a small part of the concert at the monk beat studio, a space that combines a temple and a studio by Yasushi! I was reminded that music is a gift from the Creator (or Gaia) that sometimes heals and energizes people, and that it is delivered to us through those who are "in our path" (Beethoven, Conductor, Enya, or all performers).

I was reminded once again that the earth and human beings can continue to be beautiful if we all have the humble thought that we are only one component of the life form that is the earth, and if we all show compassion for all things.
