この若い美女は、悪名高い億万長者とともに2006年のフライトに搭乗していた。

2008年にマンハッタンのアパートから飛び降り自殺したカザフスタン生まれのロシア人トップモデル、ルスラーナ・コルシュノワが、わずか18歳のときにジェフリー・エプスタインの悪名高い「小児性愛者の島」を訪れていたことが、新たに公開された裁判文書で明らかになった。

マーク・ジェイコブス、DKNY、ニナ・リッチの広告に起用されたコルシュノヴァは、自殺と見られる2年前の2006年6月7日に、「ロリータ・エクスプレス」と名付けられた億万長者のプライベート・ジェットに搭乗していた、と『デイリー・メール』紙は飛行記録を引用して報じている。

リトル・セント・ジェームス島で未成年の少女を性的に搾取していたことで知られるエプスタインは、他の5人と共に同じ便に搭乗していた。エプスタインは、この旅行のわずか1ヶ月前に、未成年者との違法な性行為の罪で起訴され、2006年7月には売春の勧誘の罪で逮捕された。

La joven belleza figuraba en un vuelo de 2006 junto al infame multimillonario

Ruslana Korshunova, una top model rusa nacida en Kazajstán que se arrojó al vacío desde su apartamento de Manhattan en 2008, había visitado la famosa "isla de la pedofilia" de Jeffrey Epstein cuando sólo tenía 18 años, según revelan documentos judiciales recientemente desvelados.

Korshunova, que apareció en anuncios de Marc Jacobs, DKNY y Nina Ricci, viajó en el jet privado del multimillonario, llamado "Lolita Express", el 7 de junio de 2006, dos años antes de su aparente suicidio, según informa el Daily Mail citando los registros de vuelo.

Epstein, conocido por explotar sexualmente a menores en su isla de Little St. James, también figuraba en el mismo vuelo junto con otras cinco personas. Fue acusado de múltiples cargos de relaciones sexuales ilegales con una menor apenas un mes antes del viaje y fue detenido en julio de 2006 por un único cargo de solicitación de prostitución, un cargo relativamente menor que suscitó críticas por dar al financiero un trato especial.

Aunque sigue sin saberse qué fue de la joven belleza de la isla, varios años después de su trágica muerte la víctima de Epstein, Virginia Giuffre, recibió un correo electrónico de su abogado preguntándole si conocía a Korshunova, según el New York Post.

Ruslana Korshunova nació en Almaty (Kazajstán) en 1992 y se trasladó a Nueva York cuando tenía 15 años, tras ser descubierta por la agencia de modelos Model 1, con sede en Londres. Su carrera fue fulgurante, con una agenda repleta de actuaciones como modelo de alto nivel y portadas de Vogue rusa y Elle francesa en su arsenal.

En junio de 2008, días antes de cumplir 21 años, se precipitó al vacío desde un noveno piso. En aquel momento se informó de que sus amigos y familiares decían que no mostraba signos de querer suicidarse, habiéndola descrito como una chica alegre que "amaba la vida".

Otros decían que "reprimía" sus problemas y se sentía confusa sobre el rumbo de su vida. Al parecer, también se quejaba de una misteriosa dolencia estomacal y perdió mucho peso meses antes de su muerte.

Aunque Korshunova no dejó ninguna nota de suicidio, la investigación encontró un largo mensaje en su ordenador en el que describía cómo echaba de menos su casa y su familia.

Fue enterrada en Rusia, con su madre diciendo que "querría que su amada Moscú fuera su última morada".

Ruslana Korshunova, a Kazakhstan-born Russian top model who jumped to her death from her Manhattan apartment in 2008, had visited Jeffrey Epstein’s notorious “pedophile island” when she was just 18, newly unsealed court documents have revealed.

Korshunova, who was featured in ads for Marc Jacobs, DKNY, and Nina Ricci, was flown on the billionaire’s private jet dubbed ‘Lolita Express’ on June 7, 2006, two years before her apparent suicide, the Daily Mail reports citing flight logs.

Epstein, who is known for sexually exploiting underage girls on his Little St. James island, was also listed on the same flight along with five other people. He was charged with multiple counts of unlawful sex with a minor just a month before the trip and was arrested in July 2006 on a single count of soliciting prostitution, a relatively minor charge that drew criticism from critics for giving the financier special treatment.

Although it remains unknown what happened to the young beauty of the island, several years after her tragic death Epstein’s victim Virginia Giuffre received an email from her attorney asking whether she knew Korshunova, according to the New York Post.

Ruslana Korshunova was born in Almaty, Kazakhstan in 1992 and moved to New York City when she was 15, after being discovered by a London-based modeling agency Model 1. She had a dazzling career with her schedule packed with high-profile modeling gigs and Russian Vogue and French Elle covers in her arsenal.

She leapt to her death from her ninth-floor apartment in June 2008, days before her 21st birthday. At the time it was reported that her friends and family said that she displayed no signs of wanting to kill herself, having described her as a cheerful girl who “loved life.”

Others said that she kept her problems “bottled up” and felt confused about the direction of her life. Reportedly, she also complained about a mysterious stomach ailment and lost lots of weight months before her death.

Although Korshunova left no suicide note, the investigation found a long message on her computer describing how she missed her home and family.

She was buried in Russia with her mother saying that she “would want her beloved Moscow to be her last resting place.”
