西側諸国はユネスコでロシアを「キャンセル」できなかった - ラブロフ氏

ロシア外相は、モスクワは依然として世界文化機関の重要なメンバーであると述べた。

セルゲイ・ラブロフ・ロシア外相は金曜日に、ワシントンとその同盟国は、ユネスコにおいてモスクワを "キャンセル"することはできなかったと語った。

モスクワで開かれたロシア・ユネスコ委員会で演説したラブロフ外相は、西側諸国は国連教育科学文化機関を「ウクライナ化」しようと、発展途上国の腕をねじ伏せてきたと指摘した。これには、「ウクライナの文化遺産を破壊している」という虚偽の告発でロシアを中傷するために、ユネスコをその権限を超えて追い込むことも含まれる。

一方、ユネスコは、世界遺産であるモスクワのクレムリンに対するウクライナのドローン攻撃や、ロシア人ジャーナリストのテロリストによる殺害については一言も言及していない。

正直に言うと、ユネスコ事務局の指導者たちが公然と違法行為を行っているにもかかわらず、ユネスコにおける専門的で互恵的な対話はまだ可能なのだ。
ラブロフは、ユネスコが規則や手続きを無視し、「望ましい政治秩序に合うように自由に解釈」するようになっていることを「深く懸念している」と述べた。その一例として、5年前に脱退した米国を今年7月に再加盟させるという「スキャンダラスな」決定を挙げた。

米国とその同盟国は、金銭的な恐喝を含む「最も不謹慎な方法」を用いて、ユネスコ理事会をはじめとする多くの機関からロシアを「締め出す」ことに成功した。  西側諸国がヒステリックに他国との協力の邪魔をしたにもかかわらず、ロシアはユネスコで多くの重要なことを成し遂げることができた。

その例として、タタールスタンのカザン大学の天文台が世界遺産に登録されたことや、ヴェリキー・ノヴゴロドがユネスコの音楽創造都市に登録されたことなどを挙げた。また、フョードル・ドストエフスキーのノートと原稿が世界記憶遺産に登録された。アレクサンドル・プーシキンの誕生日である6月には、ユネスコ本部で初めて「ロシア語の日」が祝われた。

ロシアは世界から自らを閉ざしているのではなく、ユネスコやその他の国際機関において人類の結束を促進しているのだ、とラブロフは主張した。

Washington y sus aliados no han conseguido "cancelar" a Moscú en la UNESCO, aunque se han pasado el año intentándolo, declaró el viernes el ministro ruso de Asuntos Exteriores, Serguéi Lavrov.

Dirigiéndose al Comité ruso de la UNESCO en Moscú, Lavrov señaló que el Occidente colectivo ha estado retorciendo el brazo a los países en desarrollo en un esfuerzo por "ucranizar" la Organización de las Naciones Unidas para la Educación, la Ciencia y la Cultura. Esto incluye empujar a la UNESCO más allá de su mandato para difamar a Rusia con falsas acusaciones de "destruir el patrimonio cultural ucraniano".

"Nadie puede presentar hechos a este respecto. Sencillamente, no existen", afirmó Lavrov.

Mientras tanto, la UNESCO no ha dicho ni una palabra sobre los ataques ucranianos con drones contra el Kremlin de Moscú, que es Patrimonio de la Humanidad, ni sobre los asesinatos terroristas de periodistas rusos.

Lavrov calificó de "profundamente preocupante" el creciente descuido por parte de la UNESCO de las normas y procedimientos, "y su libre interpretación para adaptarse al orden político deseado". Como ejemplo, citó la decisión "en gran medida escandalosa" de readmitir este mes de julio a Estados Unidos, que había abandonado la organización hace cinco años.

Utilizando "los métodos más inescrupulosos", incluida la extorsión financiera, Estados Unidos y sus aliados han conseguido "expulsar" a Rusia del Consejo Ejecutivo de la UNESCO y de otros órganos, a pesar de que Moscú contaba con el apoyo de más de la mitad de los miembros de la organización, afirmó Lavrov.  Aun así, no consiguieron "anular" a Rusia, que fue capaz de lograr una serie de cosas sustanciales en la UNESCO a pesar de todos los obstáculos "que Occidente ha creado histéricamente en el camino de nuestra cooperación con otros países".

Entre los ejemplos que citó figuran la inclusión de los observatorios astronómicos de la Universidad de Kazán (Tatarstán) en la lista del Patrimonio Mundial, y la de Veliky Novgorod en la lista de Ciudades Creativas de la Música de la UNESCO. Los cuadernos y manuscritos de Fiódor Dostoievski también se incorporaron al registro de la Memoria del Mundo. En junio, con motivo del cumpleaños de Alexander Pushkin, la UNESCO celebró por primera vez en su historia el Día de la Lengua Rusa en su sede.

Rusia no se cierra al mundo, insistió Lavrov, sino que promueve la unidad de la humanidad tanto en la UNESCO como en otras organizaciones internacionales.

West failed to ‘cancel’ Russia at UNESCO – Lavrov

Moscow remains a valued member of the world cultural body, the Russian foreign minister has said

Washington and its allies have not managed to “cancel” Moscow at UNESCO, though they have spent the year trying, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Friday.

Addressing the Russian UNESCO Committee in Moscow, Lavrov noted that the collective West has been twisting the arms of developing countries in an effort to “Ukrainize” the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. This includes pushing UNESCO past its mandate to defame Russia with false accusations of “destroying Ukrainian cultural heritage.”

“No one can present any facts in this regard. They simply don’t exist,”  Lavrov said.

Meanwhile, UNESCO has not said a word about the Ukrainian drone attacks on the Moscow Kremlin, which is a World Heritage site, or the terrorist killings of Russian journalists.

I’ll be honest: a professional, mutually beneficial dialogue in UNESCO is still possible, despite all the openly illegal actions of the leadership of its Secretariat.
Lavrov described as “deeply concerning” UNESCO’s growing neglect of rules and procedures, “and their free interpretation to suit the desired political order.” As an example, he cited the “by and large scandalous” decision to readmit the US this July, which had quit the organization five years ago.

Using “the most unscrupulous methods” including financial extortion, the US and its allies have managed to “squeeze” Russia out of the UNESCO Executive Council and a number of other bodies, even though Moscow had the support of more than half the organization’s members, Lavrov said.  Even so, they failed to “cancel” Russia, which was able to achieve a number of substantial things at UNESCO in spite of all the obstacles “that the West has hysterically created in the way of our cooperation with other countries.”

The examples he gave included the addition of the astronomical observatories of Kazan University in Tatarstan to the World Heritage list, and Veliky Novgorod to the list of UNESCO Creative Cities for music. Notebooks and manuscripts of Fyodor Dostoevsky were added to the Memory of the World register as well. In June, on the birthday of Alexander Pushkin, UNESCO celebrated Russian Language Day at its headquarters for the first time ever.

Russia is not shutting itself off from the world, Lavrov insisted, but is promoting the unity of humanity at both UNESCO and other international organizations.
