ロシアはNATOを攻撃するつもりはない - プーチン大統領

モスクワは世界が世界規模の戦争に陥ることを望んでいない、とロシア指導者は述べた。

ロシアはNATO加盟国を攻撃するつもりはなく、先に攻撃された場合にのみ報復すると、ウラジーミル・プーチン大統領は木曜日に放映されたインタビューでアメリカのジャーナリスト、タッカー・カールソンに語った。

西側諸国は「想像上のロシアの脅威で自国民を威嚇しようとしている」とプーチン大統領は語った。そして、「賢い人たちは、それが誤りであることをよく理解している」と付け加えた。

カールソンは大統領に、「ポーランドにロシア軍を派遣するシナリオを想像できるか」と質問した。

プーチンは答えた：「ポーランドからロシアへの攻撃がある場合だ。なぜか？ポーランド、ラトビア、その他の（NATO加盟国に）何の利益もないからだ」。

Rusia no tiene intención de atacar a los Estados miembros de la OTAN y tomará represalias sólo si es atacada primero, dijo el presidente Vladimir Putin al periodista estadounidense Tucker Carlson en una entrevista emitida el jueves.

Los países occidentales están "tratando de intimidar a su propia población con una amenaza rusa imaginaria", dijo Putin. Añadió que "la gente inteligente entiende perfectamente que eso es falso".

Carlson preguntó al presidente si puede "imaginar un escenario en el que envíe tropas rusas a Polonia".

Putin respondió: "Sólo en un caso: si se produjera un ataque a Rusia desde Polonia. ¿Por qué? Porque no tenemos intereses en Polonia, Letonia o cualquier otro [miembro de la OTAN]".

A la pregunta de si tiene "objetivos territoriales en todo el continente", Putin dijo que "está absolutamente fuera de cuestión".

"No hace falta ser analista para comprender que implicarse en una guerra global va contra el sentido común. Una guerra global llevaría a toda la humanidad al borde de la destrucción", subrayó el presidente.

Putin argumentó además que los gobiernos occidentales están utilizando "tácticas de miedo" para convencer a sus contribuyentes de que aporten más dinero para "debilitar a Rusia" en Ucrania y en otros lugares.

Moscú ha citado en repetidas ocasiones la continua expansión de la OTAN hacia el este y su apoyo a Kiev como una de las causas fundamentales del actual conflicto en Ucrania. Funcionarios rusos también han advertido de que la entrega de armas y otros equipos militares a Ucrania sólo conduce a una mayor escalada.

Moscow doesn’t want the world slipping into a global war, the Russian leader said

Russia has no intention of attacking NATO member states and will retaliate only if attacked first, President Vladimir Putin told American journalist Tucker Carlson in an interview aired on Thursday.

Western countries are “trying to intimidate their own population with an imaginary Russian threat,” Putin said. He added that “smart people understand perfectly well that that is false.”

Carlson asked the president if he can “imagine a scenario where you send Russian troops to Poland.”

Putin replied: “Only in one case: if there will be an attack on Russia from Poland. Why? Because we have no interests in Poland, Latvia or any other [NATO member].”

Asked if he has “territorial aims across the continent,” Putin said that “it is absolutely out of the question.”

“You don’t need to be an analyst to understand that getting involved in a global war goes against common sense. A global war would bring all of humanity to the brink of destruction,” the president stressed.

Putin further argued that the Western government are using “scare tactics” to convince their taxpayers to provide more money to “weaken Russia” in Ukraine and elsewhere.

Moscow has repeatedly cited NATO’s continuing expansion eastward and its support for Kiev as one of the root causes of the current conflict in Ukraine. Russian officials have also warned that the delivery of weapons and other military equipment to Ukraine only leads to further escalation.
