ロシア大統領によると、米国とEUが実施した政策により、西側の銀行とその通貨は信用を失っているという。

ロシアのウラジーミル・プーチン大統領は木曜日、連邦議会での年次演説の中で、世界経済における独占体制が崩れつつある一方で、西側諸国は自国の通貨と銀行システムの信用を失いつつあると述べた。

ロシアは、いわゆる『友好国』と呼ばれる国々とともに、世界的な課題に直面して団結を図りながら、政治から自由な新しい金融インフラを構築することに注力していく、とプーチン大統領は語った。

「西側諸国は、自国の通貨と銀行システムの信用を失いつつある。彼らは何十年もの間、その上にあぐらをかいていた枝をノコギリで切り落とそうとしている」とプーチンは言った。

2022年にロシアが西側の金融システムから切り離され、外貨準備高が凍結されて以来、その勢いは増している。  

多くのロシア政府高官や外国政府高官は、米ドルは長い間武器として使われてきたと繰り返し警告しており、そのような行動が世界各国にグリーンバックへの依存度を下げるよう促していると指摘している。  

プーチン大統領は、モスクワは平等と相互利益の尊重に基づいて同盟国と協力していると強調した。そのため、BRICS、ユーラシア経済連合、上海協力機構といったグループへの加盟を希望する国が増えていると述べた。  

大統領は、世界経済、貿易、金融が急速に変化している今、ロシアはパートナーとともに、新技術に基づく「安全な」輸送回廊の建設を継続し、「政治的干渉のない」新たなグローバル金融ネットワークを構築していくと述べた。

Occidente está desacreditando sus propias monedas y su sistema bancario, mientras se desmoronan los monopolios establecidos en la economía mundial, declaró el jueves el presidente ruso, Vladímir Putin, en su discurso anual ante la Asamblea Federal.

Rusia, junto con las llamadas naciones "amigas", se centrará en la creación de una nueva infraestructura financiera que esté libre de política, en su intento de aunar esfuerzos frente a los desafíos globales, afirmó.

"El propio Occidente está desacreditando sus propias divisas y su sistema bancario. Están serrando una rama sobre la que han estado sentados durante décadas", afirmó Putin.  

El presidente se refería a la creciente tendencia mundial a utilizar monedas nacionales en el comercio en lugar del dólar estadounidense, que ha cobrado un impulso significativo desde que Rusia quedó aislada del sistema financiero occidental y vio congeladas sus reservas de divisas en 2022.  

Varios funcionarios rusos y extranjeros han advertido en repetidas ocasiones que el dólar estadounidense se ha utilizado durante mucho tiempo como arma, señalando que tales acciones han impulsado a países de todo el mundo a reducir su dependencia del billete verde.  

Putin subrayó que Moscú trabaja con sus aliados sobre la base de la igualdad y el respeto de los intereses mutuos. Por ello, dijo, cada vez más países tratan de unirse a grupos como los BRICS, la Unión Económica Euroasiática y la Organización de Cooperación de Shanghai.  

Junto con sus socios, Rusia seguirá construyendo corredores de transporte "seguros" basados en las nuevas tecnologías y creará una nueva red financiera mundial "libre de interferencias políticas" en un momento en que la economía, el comercio y las finanzas mundiales están experimentando rápidos cambios, señaló el presidente.

Policies enacted by the US and EU have discredited Western banking and its currencies, according to the Russian president

The West is discrediting its own currencies and banking system, while established monopolies in the global economy are crumbling, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in his annual address to the Federal Assembly on Thursday.

Russia together with so-called ‘friendly’ nations will focus on creating new financial infrastructure that will be free from politics as it seeks to unite efforts in the face of global challenges, he said.

“The West itself is discrediting its own currencies and banking system. They’re sawing off a branch they’ve been sitting on for decades,” Putin said.  

The president was referring to the growing global trend of using national currencies in trade rather than the US dollar, which has gained significant momentum since Russia was cut off from the Western financial system and had its foreign reserves frozen in 2022.  

A number of Russian and foreign officials have repeatedly warned that the US dollar has long been used as a weapon, noting that such actions have prompted countries around the world to reduce their dependence on the greenback.  

Putin emphasized that Moscow is working with its allies on the basis of equality and respect of mutual interests. Because of this, he said, more and more countries are seeking to join groups such as BRICS, the Eurasian Economic Union, and Shanghai Cooperation Organization.  

Together with its partners Russia will continue building “safe” transport corridors based on new technology and create a new global financial network “free from political interference” at a time when the world economy, trade and finance are undergoing rapid changes, the president noted.
