About this Information
This information is a flow chart (route) of the "Any%" category in the RTA of "Kirby and the Forgotten Land".
"Which copy ability should I use for this stage?" "How many Waddle Dees do I have to save?" etc. This flow chart was created to help beginners solve such problems.
- How to read the flow chart
Color coding : shows each copy ability
(number) : The number of Waddle Dees you have to get in that stage.
*However, Boss battles will change +/- 1 Dee.
Arrows : The leftmost chart is the current world record (as of October 2022)
Blue arrows are for beginners
0:Point of Arrival
The first stage. There are "Swords" and "Bombs" on the way. However, you should go with "No Copy".
1:Natural Plains
In this world, the chart diverges at the BOSS " Gorimondo". The method of defeating it with "No Copy" is faster by almost 10 seconds, but it is not recommended because it requires both difficulty and random number of moves. I recommend using "Ice" to defeat it.
2:Everbay Coast
The chart junction for this world is Stage 3, "Scale the Cement Summit". Beginners are advised to use "Fire" to defeat Fleurina, as it is difficult to maintain the copying ability while defeating it with "ice". After that, you can proceed with "Tornado", but the difficulty level is a little bit higher.
3:Wondaria Remains
The main point of interest in this world is the mixing of copy abilities in stage 1, "Welcome to Wondaria". However, it is a little difficult to do so, and you may not be able to get it right the first time. In this case, after the boss battle "Tropic Woods" in the previous world, it would be a good idea to go back to the town of Waddle Dee Town and get a "Tornado" at the Waddle Dee's Weapons Shop before trying World 3. The time lost by stopping at the Weapons Shop is about 15 seconds. It is possible to proceed through all stages with fire, but Tornado is recommended.
4:Winter Horns
The point of interest in this world is Stage 4, "The Battle of Blizzard Bridge". Here, the "Hammer Super Jump (HSJ)", one of Kirby and the Forgotten Land's glidge techniques, comes into play. It is a difficult technique, but the shortening time is very large, so it is recommended to practice and become skilled at it.
5:Originull Wasteland
In this world, there are two routes: the "Fire route" (Volcano Fire) and the "Tornado route" (Tornado). There has been some debate as to which is faster, but you can choose either. However, if you choose the "Tornado route", you will need to defeat the boss battle in World 4, "King Dedede", with a Tornado, which is very difficult. Therefore, the "Fire route" is recommended for beginners.
6:Redgar Forbidden Lands
There are two points of interest in this world. The first is to return to the Waddle Dee Town after clearing stage 3. At this point, if you have saved 145 Waddle Dee, "Waddle Dee's Item Shop" will be opened. Purchase two speed-ups and three attack-ups, and keep one attack-up. Once you get used to it, two Attack-Ups will be enough. The second is Stage 5 "The Beast Pack's Final Stand". The "Hammer Super Jump (HSJ)" is also useful in this stage. In particular, the "Boat Room Skip Skip (BRSS)" technique is the fastest route, but it is difficult and can easily lead to a time loss if you fail. I recommend the "crash route" to rescue Waddle Dee in the boat room and get the crash.
7:Lab Discovera
The last stage is a series of three boss battles. The first two bosses use "Hammer" and the last one uses "ice". The first boss in particular has a skipping move called the "Leongar Skip" using the "Hammer Super Jump (HSJ)". If you can't do it, you can usually defeat him with "Hammer".
※Extras (number of Waddle Dees to be rescued in a boss fight)
In the flow chart, I wrote the number of Waddle Dees to be rescued in each stage, but the number of Waddle Dees for the boss battle is a little higher. By the time 6-3 is cleared, 145 Waddle Dees must be rescued and the "Item Shop" must be completed in the "Waddle Dees Town". Excluding the boss battle, the number of Waddle Dees that can be saved is 122. The remaining 23 must be saved in the boss battles in Worlds 1 via 5. You will be able to save 3 Waddle Dees by clearing the boss battles. Also, one of the missions is a time-limited mission, and if you complete it, you can save one Waddle dee. You must save the remaining 3 waddle Dees in the other missions. So the recommended missions for the Any% route are as follows.
If you complete 3 of these missions, you will have enough 145 waddle Dees for 6-3. (○ is a recommended mission.) The mission that is easy to complete will vary from person to person. Please try to make your own choices. I exclude King Dedede and Sillydillo's no damage because they are almost always not achievable.

This video is a recording by yr, an RTA player of Kirby and the Forgotten Land. It has almost the same moves as the blue beginner route. However, there are some parts where the moves are a little more difficult. ↓
・the mixing of copy abilities in 3-1
・some difficult techniques are used in the boss fight
(W2 Tropic Woods, W4 King Dedede, W6 Forgo Dedede)
・6-5 is the drill route without taking the crash, although he did not do BRSS.
