Deus, qui hodiérnam diem Apostolórum tuórum Petri et Pauli martýrio consecrásti:

da Ecclésiae tuae, eórum in ómnibus sequi praecéptum ;

per quos religiónis sumpsit exórdium.

Per Dóminum nostrum Jesum Christum Fílium tuum,

qui tecum vivit et regnat in unitáte Spíritus Sancti Deus,

per ómnia saécula saeculórum.

Let us pray.

O God, Who made this day holy by the martyrdom of Your Apostle Peter and Paul, grant Your

Church to follow in all things the teaching of those from whom she first received the faith.

Through Jesus Christ, thy Son our Lord, Who liveth and reigneth with thee,

in the unity of the Holy Ghost, ever one God, world without end.
