Credo in unum Deum, Patrem omnipoténtem,

factórem coeli et terræ, visibílium ómnium et in visibílium.

Et in unum Dóminum Iesum Christum, Fílium Dei unigénitum.

Et ex Patre natum ante ómnia saecula.

Deum de Deo, lumen de lúmine, Deum verum de Deo vero.

Génitum, non factum, consubstantiálem Patri:

per quem ómnia facta sunt.

Qui propter nos hómines et propter nostram salútem descéndit de coelis.

(Hic genuflectitur)

Et incarnátus est de Spíritu Sancto ex María Vírgine: Et homo factus est.

Crucifíxus étiam pro nobis: sub Póntio Piláto passus, et sepúltus est.

Et resurréxit tértia die, secúndum Scriptúras.

Et ascéndit in coelum: sedet ad déxteram Patris.

Et íterum ventúrus est cum glória iudicáre vivos et mórtuos: cuius regni non erit finis.

Et in Spíritum Sanctum, Dóminum et vivificántem: qui ex Patre Filióque procédit.

Qui cum Patre et Fílio simul adorátur et conglorificátur: qui locútus est per Prophétas.

Et unam sanctam cathólicam et apostolicam Ecclésiam.

Confíteor unum baptísma in remissiónem peccatórum.

Et exspécto resurrectiónem mortuórum.

Et vitam ventúri saeculi.

◆Creed

I believe in one God, the Father almighty,

Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things, visible and invisible.

And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God.

And born of the Father, before all ages.

God of God: Light of Light: true God of true God.

Begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father, by whom all things were made.

Who, for us men, and for our salvation, came down from heaven. (Here kneel down.)

And became incarnate by the Holy Ghost of the Virgin Mary: and was made man.

He was crucified also for us, suffered under Pontius Pilate, and was buried.

And the third day He rose again according to the Scriptures.

And ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of the Father.

And He shall come again with glory to judge both the living and the dead,

of whose kingdom there shall be no end.

And in the Holy Ghost, the Lord and Giver of Life,

proceeding from the Father and the Son.

Who together, with the Father and the Son, is adored and glorified:

Who spoke by the prophets. And in one, holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church.

I confess one baptism for the remission of sins.

And I look for the resurrection of the dead.

And the life of the world to come.

私は信じます、この唯一の神を、

全能の父を、天と地の創造者を、

すべての見えるものと見えないものの（創造者を）。

また（私は信じます）、この唯一なる主、イエス・キリストを、

神のひとり子として生まれた息子を。

あらゆる世代の前に父から生まれたその方を。

神からの神を、光からの光を、真の神からの真の神を。

造られずに生まれたその方を、父と一体のその方を。

その方によってすべてのものは創られました。

その方は、私たち人間のために、この私たちの救いのために、

天から降りて来ました。［ここで膝をつく］

そして、聖霊により、その方は肉体となりました、

処女マリアから出て（肉体となりました）。

こうして、その方は人となりました。

そののち、私たちのためにその方は十字架に打ちつけられ、

ポンティウス・ピラトゥスのもとで、苦しめられ、葬られました。

そして、聖書に従い、三日目にその方は復活しました。

そして、天にその方は昇り、父の右に座っています。

そして、再びその方は来るのです、

栄光とともに、生きている人や死んだ人を裁くために。

その方の国（支配）の終わりはないでしょう。

また（私は信じます）、聖霊と主と生を与える方を。

それ（聖霊）は、父と子から現れ、父と子とともに崇められて讃えられ、

預言者を通して語りました。

また（私は信じます）、この唯一聖なる公教徒と、この使徒の教会を。

この唯一の洗礼を私は告白します、罪びとたちの赦しのために。

そして、諸死者の復活を私は待ち望みます。

また、来世の生命をも（待ち望みます）。
