Bog down = Become stuck, be unable to progress 行き詰まる
ex) Bog down the meeting 会議が行き詰まる

Down the hatch = to swallow something 飲む
ex) This tequila sure goes down the hatch easily.

You're flying by the seat of your pants = 自分の経験と勘を頼りにする

double Dutch = makes it twice harder to understand

Sweep it under the carpet = to hide something that is illegal, embarrassing, or wrong)

A blessing in disguise 災い転じて福となる
ex) That was a blessing in disguise

line the paper on the bowl = ボウルに沿って紙を敷く

Drizzle = 小雨　it’s not heavy rain

The wind blew my hat off = 帽子が飛ばされる

Crush the paper and Tear it up = やぶく
