『INSANE』は、1981年11月25日に発売されたTHE ROOSTERSの3枚目のアルバム
私がTHE ROOSTERSを知ったのは2ndアルバムa-GOGO発売頃でした
私は友達といろんなバンドが出てる野外ライブに出かけた、私と友達のお目当てのバンドは何だったのか記憶にない、その頃は私はハードロックが好きだったのでBowwowか子供ばんどか、そんなところだ
そこにTHE ROOSTERSが出てきてヴワーと演奏しだした、私はカラフルな服装でギターをかき鳴らしながら唄う男に目と耳を奪われた
後日a-GOGOをカセットテープで購入、ウォークマンで聴きまくる生活に突入、新宿ロフトに通い、1stアルバムも購入した、さび頭をTHE ROOSTERSに脳天叩き割られたフリークスである
そこに3rdアルバムであるINSANEが発売された、A面はいつもの元気なTHE ROOSTERSだ、でも英語で唄うのか？どれも疾走感溢れるカッコイイ曲だ
B面にする、あ～この曲好きなヤツや！ライブでやってた！Case Of Insanityって曲なのか？カヌーカヌーって言ってなかったか？聞き間違いか？最後にIn Deep Grief、当時高校生だった私にはなんだかわからない、好きになるのは数年後だ

INSANE is the third album by THE ROOSTERS, released on November 25, 1981.
I got to know THE ROOSTERS when their 2nd album a-GOGO was released!
My friends and I went to an outdoor concert where many bands were playing.I can’t remember what band my friends and I were looking forward to.At that time I was into hard rock, so Bowwow or KODOMO BAND, that’s about it.
Then THE ROOSTERS came out and started playing with great energy.I was mesmerized by the eyes and ears of a man in colorful clothing, strumming his guitar and singing.
I later bought the second album, a-GOGO, on cassette tape, and started listening to it on my Walkman.I started going to the Shinjuku Loft.I also bought the first album.THE ROOSTERS smashed my brain.
The third album, INSANE, was released.The A-side is the usual energetic THE ROOSTERS, but sung in English?They’re all cool, fast-paced songs.
I switched to the B-side. Oh, I love this song, is it called Case Of Insanity?Wasn’t the song called Canoe Canoe? Am I hearing it wrong?Lastly, “In Deep Grief,” I was in high school at the time, and I didn’t know what it was.It took me a few years to fall in love with this song.
I bought the single version of “Let’s Rock” on the day it was released. Of course, it was the version before it was collected.
陣内孝則初主演映画「爆裂都市 バースト・シティ」(1982年)が、YouTubeチャンネルのTOEI Xstream theater「土曜21時は映画を見よう！」の第1弾として、2021年3月20日(土)夜9時より1週間限定で無料配信、プレミア公開された
ルースターズの大江慎也はバトル・ロッカーズのギタリスト、フライング風戸役、池畑潤二がドラムスの鋼鉄男役で出演している
確か新宿ロフト(だったと思う)でルースターズ、ロッカーズ、バトル・ロッカーズのライブと映画の予告編を上映するというイベントに行った記憶がある
