2017年に始まった文春野球コラムのペナントレースがあと数日で終わる。
毎年3月から10月にかけてほぼ毎日更新される野球コラムを読むのは楽しい日々だった。
このまま続けばもっと大きな文化になっていった気がするのに残念と言わざるを得ない。
文春野球コラムはいろいろな野球の楽しみかたがあっていいとゆうことを教えてくれたメディアだった。
The pennant race for the Bunshun baseball column that began in 2017 will end in a few days.
It was a pleasure to read the baseball columns that were updated almost every day from March to October every year. I must say that it is a pity, because I feel that it would have become a bigger culture if it had continued.
The Bunshun Baseball Column was a medium that taught me that there are many ways to enjoy baseball.
最近はクリケットのワールド・カップのハイライト動画をYouTubeで見ている。
日本は参加していない大会だけど、なんとなく見てる。
そしてカーリングのパンコンチネンタル選手権が始まった。
こっちは男女ともに日本代表が参加していて、世界選手権への出場権がかかった大会なので緊張感をもって情報をチェックしてる。
今大会はテレビ放送がないけれど、世界選手権に出場すればテレビ放送がある。
Lately I've been watching highlight videos of the World Cup cricket tournament on YouTube.
Japan is not participating in this tournament, but I kind of watch it.
And the Pan-Continental Curling Championships have started.
Both the men's and women's teams from Japan are participating in this event, and since the qualification to the World Championships is at stake, I'm checking the information with a sense of urgency.
There is no TV broadcast for this event, but if Japan participates in the World Championships, it will be broadcast on TV.
アジアン・ゲームズでハンドボール女子の日本代表が金メダルを獲ったのに、あまり大きな話題にはならなかった。
オリンピックに種目のないマイナー競技は金メダルを獲ってもこんなものかと、メディアの冷たさを知った。
日本ではアジアン・ゲームズはテレビで放送されたけれども、放送されたのはオリンピックの種目になっているものばかり。
マイナー競技の協会の人たちはアジアン・ゲームズを「マイナー競技の祭典」と呼んでいるのに対してテレビ局側は「アジア版オリンピック」と呼んでいた。
4年に1度の大会なのにマイナー競技にスポットが当たることなく終わった大会だった。

日本のシンガー・ソングライター。本人曰く「ゆるエモ」。
これまで「ゆるエモ」とゆう言葉を知らなかったけど、検索したら使ってる人がそれなりにいる。
556kmは「ひとりになりたいときに聴くチルめな音楽を作っている」とゆうことで、「ぼっちエモ」みたいなジャンルを開拓しているような感じがある。
この歌詞から「I」も「You」もなくなってもエモを表現できるだろうか。

If "I" and "You" were gone from these lyrics, would they still express emo?
