Alicia Kitagawa-Legatie

Alicia has a Bachelor of Arts in Global and International Studies with an emphasis on Diplomacy, Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Oregon.

Alicia has grown up and lived in Japan up until moving to Oregon for her higher education. She has a thorough knowledge of Japan's art history and how it's linked to the country's culture. Her academic research also highlights the significant impact of the tea ceremony on Japan's relations which she hopes to utilize for social media engagement.

She aspires to keep herself educated on many different topics and, with an interest in bilateral diplomacy, she has decided to be a part of Sakura Cha Meet as a way to represent her culture and also have a foot in the door to the diplomatic sphere.
