My life in Greece.

It's been almost a month since I came here. 

Currently, I live in Athens with my Greek boyfriend.  Oh, I'm sorry I forgot to say, Happy New Year everyone!  May this year blesses you with health, wealth, and happiness :)

So what I want to write here today is about my new experience here in Greece. You know, just for your information :)

1. You cannot flush the toilet paper. You MUST throw it in a trash bin!  This rule is not only in houses but also at restaurants, cafes, or department stores! So please be careful! 

2. It only applies to old houses (maybe); To take a shower, you have to turn on the boiler for 30 minutes to make enough hot water. One time, I didn't leave the boiler on long enough for a shower  and,  I ran out of hot water when I was washing my hair!  Can you imagine it happening in the cold winter night!!!

3. Sidewalks are made for singles, not for couples walking hand in hand.  It's because there are trees, trash bins, and sometimes a hole in the middle of sidewalks! It's safer to walk by yourself.

4. When you go to a supermarket, you'll be asked "sakoura?"                    Yes, it sounds almost like my name "Sakura"! So at first I wondered How do you know my name??  but they were just asking me if I need plastic bags or not. Haha

5. There are lots of stray cats! and they are very cute! Look at this picture, this cat has a mustache! haha
