えっ、英語で！？
「うまく英語で話せるかな…」
私の姪は英国人と一緒になり、英国に住んでいます。
2歳の子を連れて来日。週末我が家に来てくれるそう。
私は旦那さんと初対面。
何を話そうかと、シミュレーションしています。
日本語を使うときの脳の部位と、英語のそれは違うそうです。
なので英語を使うときは、そのモードに入らなければうまく話せません。
普段、これをやってればよいのですが、久しぶりだと難しい。
やはり頭の中で、シミュレーションしておかないとなりません。
ビートルズやスティングが私のお気に入りであることや、
英日の歴史や文化の比較など深い話までできるでしょうか。
息子も久しぶりに英語が使えることを、楽しみに帰って来ます。
さて私が懸念する最大の問題は…
猫ちゃんのこと。
彼らに猫アレルギーがあったらどうしようかと…。
特に2歳の子は大丈夫か？
カミさんに恐る恐る尋ねました。その答えとは…
「猫、飼ってるらしいよ！」🎉🎉🎉
良かった〜。これで安心してお迎えできます。

My niece is with an Englishman and lives in the UK.
This time, they came to Japan with a 2-year-old child. They will come to my house this weekend.
I met my niece's husband for the first time.
I'm simulating what to talk to him about.
It seems that the part of the brain when we use Japanese is different from the part of the brain when we use English.
So, as a Japanese person, when I use English, I can't speak well unless I'm in English mode.
Usually, I should do this, but it's difficult if it's been a while.
After all, I have to simulate it in my head.
