負けた相手が日本で良かった…
WBCで見事優勝した侍ジャパン。
その偉業達成は我々日本人を感動の渦に巻き込みました。
その活躍も素晴らしかったのですが、大谷選手のスピーチに米国の野球ファンも感動した模様。
「アメリカ人として、このスピーチには震えた」
「対戦相手の事をリスペクトしながらも、味方の士気を上げられる唯一の人類」
などの声が寄せられたと。
MLB通算696本塁打を誇るレジェンド
、アレックス・ロドリゲス氏は、
「間違いなくスーバーヒーローのような君の活躍は私にとっても最高だった」
「しかし私が一番感銘を覚えたのは、君が同僚に送ったスピーチだ」
さてその気になる大谷選手が決勝戦前に行ったスピーチとはいったい！
「(米国選手への)憧れを捨てて勝ちにいきましょう！」
岩手・花巻東高校3年時に野球部で配られた「人生設計シート」。そのシートには27歳の欄に『WBC MVP』の文字がありました。
その目標を28歳で達成した大谷選手。
この事からわかるのは、言葉の持つ力。
思ったことは現実化するということです。
私も大谷選手を見習って、『人生設計ノート』を書いてみようかしら😄。

The accomplishment of this feat has engulfed us Japanese in a vortex of excitement.
His performance was wonderful, but it seems that baseball fans in the United States were also moved by Ohtani's speech.
"As an American, I was shaken by this speech."
"He is the only human who can raise the morale of his allies while respecting his opponents."
And so on.

By the way, what was the speech that Ohtani gave before the final match?
“Throw away your admiration (for American athletes) and win against the United States!”
During the third year of Iwate Hanamaki Higashi High School, a "life plan sheet" was distributed to baseball club members. In the 27-year-old column on that sheet, Ohtani had the words "WBC MVP".
Ohtani achieved that goal at the age of 28.
This shows the power of the word.
What I thought was going to come true.
I think I'll follow Otani's example and would write a "life design notebook" 😄.
